Pros:

Pickup and drop off fast and easy. Personnel was friendly.

Cons:

Prices are pretty high from what's used to be. Overall the experience was good. I always return to Enterprise everytime I have to rent a car.

Pros:

The man who helped us at pickup was really nice and helpful. He even allowed us to drop the car off at the airport due to us having to wait a little bit because he was helping someone else, which wasn't inconvenient for us. Excellent customer service.

The price.

Pros:

This place was a little farther away from the airport than expected. Had to take a cab ride there, and they close at 5 pm which I didn’t see originally. The service was great and everything was painless.

Shuttle drivers were lovely. Car didn’t break down. But it took forever (over an hour) to pick up our car despite almost no line and counter staff were surly. Had to wait half an hour for a shuttle even after calling. There was a $100 surcharge for toll reader. Windshield was dangerously dirty and car had no washer fluid.

Car was great. Drop off was easy. However, 2 weeks after my trip, I have yet to receive my refund for the deposit I put in when I picked up the car. I have emailed them, and haven't been able to get help from anyone yet. Not good customer service.

There was no car available, and they made sure I wait for an hour just to hear that even when I booked far in advance.

Waited 2 hours and 45 minutes to get a vehicle because only one person was working. He had to drive the cars in and out of the lot and took 20-30 minutes per family to finalize the reservations. There was no communication to anyone waiting, No apologies for the inconvenience, and no sense of urgency for those customers like myself who have been there since 230am. I have never experienced this in my life and hope the company does a better job staffing their overnight team.

The car was fine, but the process of getting the car and returning it took way too long. The people at Routes were fine but their process seemed disorganized and it took several hours to get the car. I even had to wait just to get confirmation that I’d returned the car. Next time I’ll just rent from a more expensive place for a streamlined process.

To begin with, the amount quoted was definitely not what I received from Kayak. They obligated to take their insurance because I didn’t show proof, ( a letter), indicating that my insurance would cover vehicle. Otherwise, I couldn’t take the vehicle. That’s real bad business and will NOT EVER recommend Dollar rental to anyone and maybe even Kayak because of false quote.

You should have told me it was not on the airport property. You need to clearly disclose that you need to wait for a shuttle to go off property to get your car. Finding the shuttle is hard and takes too long. Cheap price is good but not if you don't disclose the inconveniences,

Upon arrival from CT, I was told my reservation had been canceled the night before! More outrageous thing was that I was forced to take insurance full cover!!! Either that or stay stranded without a car. I believe that was rip off and illegal, since i had declined insurance because my own insurance covers rentals. Staff was not helpful and did not seem to care that they took advantage of travelers with a blank stare. Also, I was charged a whole day plus taxes, fees and insurance for returning the car one hour late!!! Won’t rent from Dollar again. Better get Uber. Stay away from this company!!!
