It could have been just a bad start to the day with Southwest Airlines canceling my flight at 2 in the morning but I just had a hard time from the time I walked in the door. I couldn't there was someone there arguing with them loudly that wasn't Thrify's fault but the line was really backed up. Others were more impatient than I but it was just an irritating time. The car was in pretty good shape but the windows looked like they cleaned them with a dirty cloth. I had to stop somewhere to clean them. Like I said it was a bad day for me from the beginning so I was a little more sensitive than usual maybe.

I think they charged way too much. Point in fact: I rented the car for 13 days with two drivers, but the second driver was only going to drive the car for five days and they charged us for the full 13 days.

The Thrifty experience was abysmal. The shuttle driver was rude. The store clerk was rude and slow. They gave me the wrong car twice. They overcharged me. They were rude at drop-off. Just a terrible all-around experience, and I have a pretty thick skin for this sort of thing...

Received a car with 57,259 miles which would not restart once I reached my hotel. I had to spend 2 hours and 18 minutes on the phone (3 calls) to Thrifty roadside assistance, on hold mostly. When Thrifty's AAA contractor showed up after 2 missed appointments it was 12:15 am. Car was not charging adequately so problem would repeat. Received permission to have car towed but I had to hire Uber to go back to Dulles for a new car. Attitude of all Thrifty personell was car was my problem. I have submitted request for cost of Uber, but doubt I will hear from Thrifty or see a credit. Worst rental car experience ever.

The price was outrageous, the car had too many miles, was roaring, smells, had cat or dog hair all over the place , gas was less than full when I was told needs to be returned full. really disappointing and I felt I was ripped off. Staff was good, pick up and drop off was smooth

The rental place for our van was much cheaper than any other rental I could find. The van was clean and in good working condition.Although I was told there would be 24-hour drop-off with a key drop at one end of the building, two of us could not find the key drop with intent circling of the building on foot. We ended up finding an open door and light on in the garage area but no one there. I ended up leaving the key on a work desk with a note.

Budget did not stay true to their word.Great Car. Fast Service.At pickup they were going to give me a larger car at no charge, however they went through the whole process before noticing the inspection was not valid. Was not too disappointed as I wasn't expected the larger vehicle but inspection should have been noted in their system. At pickup they told me the gas line to fill to and at drop off it was almost two ticks above it and was still charged $50 fuel service for a tank that holds maximum $25.

Staff was friendly; car was very clean. Drop off very easy.The car was very small - I asked for (and paid for) economy, not compact, and the Geo Spark option I had did not appear commensurate with the Mitsubishi option that was presented in the listing. The staff immediately tried to upswell me before even showing me the car, which I then had to ask for. Ultimately, not a bad experience, but slightly disappointing.
