Enterprise cancelled my reservation with one hour notice. I had important business to attend to that required the car leaving me having to find alternative travel arrangements with zero notice and great expense. Don’t bother with this company if you actually have to be somewhere. If you don’t mind gambling if there will actually be car for your reservation then this is the company for you!

In one word, my experience with Dollar & Kayak was HORRENDOUS. I booked the Dollar car via Kayak at 3pm on July 7th, and really looked forward to picking it up July 8th. Then, someone from Dollar called me at 8pm and said they were all out of vehicles because "they got raided by people at the airport because all flights were canceled" and I would no longer have a car to rent the next morning. BUMMER and a horrible customer service experience. I question the purpose of a reservation if someone else can just snatch it from me? Kayak and Dollar need to have better communication so that future shoppers are not left stranded the way I was with my family.

They refused to give me a car unless I had a $750 deposit. They refused to refund the rental price. I will never use Kayak or dollar Rent a car ever again. I am putting a complaint in with State Attorney General's office. I hope they shut you down .

NOTHING! 30min ride only to find out there is NO cars. Dollar rental is bankrupt.

I did not use the car and called them a day before to get the reservation cancelled but they refused to do so and I was charged for a car that was never used.

Pros:

incredibly painless process from pick up to return.

Cons:

Same old, same old. You get a cost estimate for the rental car, go to another site, and the cost of the car at the first site has doubled. Why is this considered good business?

Pros:

Customer service was very good overall.

Cons:

While the vehicle was clearly marked as a non smoking vehicle it was very obvious that one of the previous renters in fact smoked in the vehicle. I was hopeful the smell would dissipate but it never did over the 4 days we rented.

Pros:

The staff was very friendly and one reason I would come back. However, she was overwhelmed with customers. She was one person handling at least three customers while i was there. She maintained a friendly disposition though. In the middle of an epidemic, you need to be flexible and patient. The checkin process took a little while but given the environment, the staff handled it very well.

Easy pick up and drop off. Surprised the vehicle did not have a car wash before we got it, but not a big deal. Also not sure it had even been gone through because there was some small garbage on the floor in back seat area. First time in mini van and was surprised how nice the ride was.

Pros:

That I got the convertible I wanted and not something equivalent to it.

Cons:

Having access to the location directly, as in an access to a phone number and not just a number for a call center. Also, debit cards with credit feature should be somehow allowed to be used as well not just major cc.
