I feel like I was tricked into buying insurance from a third party when I should have just bought it from enterprise directly. It would have been more complicated if ever there was an accident or I had to switch or cancel my reservation. I will just book directly with the company in the future.

Because I went back a page on kayak while making the reservation, your website changed the date on me and I didn’t notice. So when i went to pick up the car, there was no car for me! It was TERRIBLY inconvenient!

Car was pretty comfortable. Car was NOT a full sized vehicle like I thought!!! I was renting!!!! Windows were filthy in this nearly new vehicle. There was no navigation or seriusXM in the vehicle but, I was able to use my phone to connect in order to access these apps.

Pros:

the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the car was newish and well maintained

Cons:

the car was not ready even tho I arrived 2 hours late to pickup. a jeep compass is not a mid sized suv, its a crossover... much closer to the Nissan Rogue than the Pathfinder it has been driven on dirt roads and was very dirty on the exterior

I waited an hour and a half to pick up the rental car. Hertz appeared to be understaffed as demonstrated by the other people waiting who stated they also had been waiting for over an hour. I missed a wedding rehearsal due to waiting for the rental car for so long. Another person waiting said they were very late for work. The employee who helped me was friendly. Hertz, please make sure you staff enough employees on a Friday afternoon so folks are not waiting over an hour for their rental car.

Pros:

Vehicle was a newer model with nice features for an economy option.

Cons:

Extra options were added to my rental agreement without any discussion. This almost doubled the price of my reservation. I understand it's on me to be careful when signing for anything but changing our agreement without alerting the customer is deceptive. The staff were unwilling to make adjustments even when showing them my original reservation receipt.
