Pickup time was Sunday at 12 noon. Arrived 12:02. Guy said we closed at 12 and wouldn’t give me rental. Customer service sent me to another location guaranteeing vehicle. Drove to this location to find no rental to meet 7 passengers. Drive to inconvenient third Budget location and had to pay more. Needless to say, extremely late to destination because lazy worker at first location would not give me the keys. He was very rude as well. Pathetic customer service. I will never rent from Budget/Avis again.

Morning staff was terrible. The lady for the afternoon was very nice but the guy that was there in the early morning was not good. He mumbled, acted like I had inconvenienced him. I will not go back to that location.

Budget called me at 10:30am (1.5 hrs before pick up) and let me know they didn’t think they’d have the kind of van I needed, that I reserved. I had to call 2 more times for updates , they didn’t call me. And I gave up. I never received a cancellation or a call to let me know they weren’t able to provide my reservation.

When I picked up it had 1/4 of gas in it. I dropped it off with the same amount and they charged me extra. I haven’t had time to call them about it but I’m furious.

I’d rent with hertz but I won’t book through kayak or other all in one booking sites. When you want to change something it’s impossible and the cancellation fee is higher than the price you pay for a car.

I was offered a really nice van as the "Manager's Special". It was very clean and drove well. I liked picking the van up at an easy to find location, rather than getting lost at the airport. And the price was excellent! Thank you Hertz! I'll be back when I need another rental.

Upon arrival at Louisville airport, I made my way to the Hertz counter where they informed me that my car pickup is at another location 10 miles away. they could not convert the pick up to the airport location due to it being booked through a 3rd party account (Kayak) I then asked if they had a shuttle bus or anyway to get me to the other Hertz office. No Shuttle, and I needed to take and UBER/Lyft. I tried calling the assigned location to let them know I was delayed, nobody answered the phone, by the time I arrived at 5:20 the place was closed. I had no choice but pay the Uber driver again to take me the 10 miles back toward the airport and my hotel. I had business meeting all day and NEVER even picked the car up. I know it was non refundable, but the people at Hertz Louisville airport didn't really try very hard to help, and if I knew the assigned pick up location was 10 miles away and closed at 5pm....well shame on me for not checking all the little details that were not very apparent when booking.

Pros:

Nothing- enterprise was a nightmare. I had to end up canceling and going to Hertz next day and they were amazing

Cons:

They did not have the car in stock that I reserved so they sent me to another location the second location also did not have the car in stock but the person offered to give me a pick up truck for an additional 150 more. Pros:

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were flexible on my car of choice as well since they did not have the size I ordered on the lot. The vehicle was in good repair and clean as well.

Car was great, employees were friendly and good at their job.

Cons:

Their weekend hours are really SHORT...and they are short of staff. They will gladly give you a ride home, but it only leaves one person at the desk..which results in lines.

Arrange reservation the night before pick-up. vehicle selection was an estimated 30 different vehicle to choose from. Made selection received confirmation along with all conditions listed Estimated costs confirmed. Pick-up date confirmed and agreement time for payment listed. The day of pick-up a voice mail at approximately 9:00 am was left on my cell phone that Enterprise pick-up; location stated that there were no vehicles available for rental and none at any other location.

Pros:

The car was clean and a nice vehicle.

Cons:

The car was not ready for us at the designated time. Then the attendant said they did not have one at all. After several hours she found one at another site. All this caused stress and delayed our vacation by more than 5 hours. Then the price was even higher than originally quoted not a single discount for my inconvenience or their confusion.

I reserved with payment well ahead of time. ( 2 months)Got a mini van instead of the SUV that I reserved. No advance notice that a change would be made. This is my third time renting here in a just over a years time. The first was stellar. The second was good and this was so so. I wouldn’t have minded the van if it had been comfortable, but for the whole day trip to and from Florida it was a huge disappointment. Go back to Honda pilot. Those were the best . And if there is going to be a change, let the customer know in advance. As the lot was full of mini vans, I suspect this was the plan ahead of time. Must have got a deal on Plymouth voyagers.
