Pros:The pick up staff was very nice and off hours drop off was easy.
Cons:The car was disgusting. Given pandemic conditions and hertz emails saying they were doing a higher level of cleaning it was obvious this car wasn’t even vacuumed and we found old dirty glasses in the seat pockets. I spent two hours cleaning the car surfaces to make sure it was safe for my family. I sent emails to hertz as you can’t get a hold of anyone to talk to them and 0 response. Will not rent from hertz again as they obviously don’t take cleanliness during a pandemic seriously.

Cons:The office was very disorganized at pickup. The car had not been washed. After I returned it, I got a call saying there was a crack in the windshield. My suspicion is that because the car was dirty, I missed a small crack at the time of check-out, and then it got worse because of the cold, and then they noticed it and charged me for it. I did not do anything to cause the crack, but they just don't want to take responsibility for it.
Pros:The process was so simple. We were even upgraded to a larger vehicle.
Pros:Everything about my rental was great. The two guys working the Salem, NH office were fast, polite, thorough, and genuinely just real nice guys. Same two guys working when I dropped off, same great experience. They topped off my rental's washer fluid before I left, which is just great attention to detail, given all the road salt in winter.
Cons:Nothing really. Great experience.
Pros:The service in Salem was star quality. I felt like they were treating me VIP. Very personable and accommodating.
Cons:The $250 deposit I had to give to pay with my ATM card.
Cons:Ordered a Nissan Altima or similar size vehicle and the smallest they had in stock at pick up was a Chevy Traverse or Tahoe. Didn’t need or want an SUV, but had no other choice. Disappointing to say the least

Cons:Car smelled like prior renter smoked in it. We had to spray freshener to cover the smell. Luckily we only drove the car for for a few hours.
Pros:Received an upgrade to a luxury car and customer service was friendly.
Cons:Car I received had not been washed and had a crack in the front windshield that was hidden underneath the dirt.

Cons:It was not a luxury that I reserved. The inside surfaces had streaks all over them, like a cleaner was applied but never wiped off.
Cons:he then told me to go to an airport..Boston or Nashua...my ride could not bring me to these places. his attitude was bad..he promised me free Sirius and never gave it to me. horrible service and attitude when I returned the car..I WILL NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET AGAIN
Pros:This was the best deal, especially since I had to drop off the car in another state.
