Pros:The pickup and drop off was relatively quick. Our car was available. They were even able to grant our old-school request of a CD player. The car worked perfectly and we had a great trip.
Cons:On pickup, the attendant was disinterested. There was a big problem with the car mileage not matching, because it was new to the fleet. She refused to fix it. Thankfully the returning agent was wonderful and made sure we weren't charged for the "extra" thousands of miles.
Pros:It was a quick and easy process to get the vehicle that I had reserved. I would use them again in the future.
Cons:Not much. It would be nicer if it was closer to my house, but that cant be fixed to easily

Cons:My reservation was for a 3:00 pick-up but the car wasn't ready until after 4:00. When I picked it up the interior was dirty. The steering wheel had nasty stuff smeared on it.

Cons:We were scheduled for a 12 pm appointment, as were other clients. When we arrived, the business was locked and dark, but we could see people inside so I knocked, to no avail. An employee walked out, holding car keys, saw us, turned around, and went back in without a word. Another group showed up with a reservation time of 12 so I kept knocking on the door until an employee finally came out. She told us they were closed at 12. I explained that myself and other clients had appointments with them at 12 pm through your site and showed her the rental email. She said “That shouldn’t have happened because we are closed at 12. That he never happened before.” She then told me that they didn’t have the keys to any cars because they were already locked away and the system was shut down and they could not rent us our car. I asked her what I was supposed to do about the charges to my card and she said that I would not be charged anything because I did not pick up the car. She then went back inside, leaving multiple people just stranded on the doorstep in the snow. I cannot believe that this has never occurred before because that would mean that no one has ever used Kayak to book their services at the offered 12 pm appointment. It was also absolutely ridiculous that customers were standing at the door, at their 12 on appointment time, and the office was already closed and locked. They clearly shut everything down before 12 pm. I also refuse to believe that they don’t get any kind of booking information from kayak in advance. If they had, they should have contacted us to tell us that our 12 pm appointments would not be honored. If they didn’t get a communication from kayak, that is an incredibly flawed system. Overall it was a terrible experience that left us literally out in the cold and without a car to get home the day after Christmas. I will not be using enterprise or kayak again.
Pros:Everything was awesome! Getting a upgrade due to lack of vehicle available was awesome!
Cons:Cleanliness!! I lost something and when searching the car I found two pieces of trash. Lots of streaks inside windshield and there was a glob of something inside windshield as well

Cons:Besides the car, the whole experience. I reserved my car to pick up on at the 36th and Riverdale, but when we arrived to pick up vehicle he could not find my reservation. When he was finally able to locate it, he told us it was because WE reserved it for the other Riverdale location, which we clearly did not as our reservation email said 36th and Riverdale. We drove the additional few miles to the other location. The lady that helped us was not very friendly, she said we were suppose to be there by 8am and that they had already rented our car out and that we would need to wait for a car to be cleaned. I showed her our email showing not only did we reserve it for a different location but we did not reserve it for 8am. She did not offer an explanation, she only said that it should take 15 minutes to wash the car and that there were a couple cars in front of us. There were NO other customers waiting in front of us. I left my husband there to wait for the rental since we were told it was only going to be 15 minutes. He ended up waiting almost 45-60 minutes til he could finally leave with the rental. The crazy part was the 36th and Riverdale location is only 1/2 mile from our house, he was planning on walking there originally to pick up the car. Can you imagine how frustrating this could have been if he had walked? We did not make the error, so why did we have to wait so long for a car to be cleaned when no other customers were even waiting for cars? Why were we not offered at least an explanation or an email in advance if a change had to be made? Poor customer service.

Cons:The location for pickup did not exist. I called the number twice with no answer or help. I called a second location with no answer or call back. I was 2.7 miles away from the second location listed on foot which would've made for a 45 minute walk, when I only had twenty minutes to get to the rental car dealer. Left a message to cancel reservation and still to this day I have not heard back from your company. I have notified my credit card company to hold payment, since the only service your company offered was taking my money. Your service disgusts me and I'm ashamed a long standing company with such a high reputation could bring it down so quickly. You should change your slogan to: "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but dealing with us will be painful and it Hertz." "So rent a car that won't be there, cause this is how we roll!" Sincerely, The guy you screwed over.
Pros:When I finally found a place to turn in the car, the staff was very friendly, but powerless to do anything but have me give them the keys.
Cons:I was supposed to take it to the local airport. Guess what? They are not at the local airport and when I called the 1-800 number the address they had was the local airport. When I told them there was no place to turn in the car they didn't have an answer or suggestion for me. When I asked for a local number for me to call a local Hetrz place, they didn't have that either. I found a place nearby and took the car to them. They said they were the dropoff location for the airport. I told them they need to let the Hertz 800 number know because as far as the Hertz 800 number is concerned the airport is the dropoff location. They said they have been trying to change it for years. When I explained the problems encountered when I picked up the car they said there was nothing they can do; that all they do is check the condition of the car and send a statement to the pickup location for them to send me the final bill. I still haven't received a final bill and have no idea what battle lies ahead.
