You'll find that picking a smaller car type for car hire in Islamabad is your best bet. Smaller cars can handle the road system sufficiently and then give you advantages during high traffic times. Also, smaller cars are easier to navigate in small spaces caused by bumper-to-bumper traffic. They are lighter on fuel consumption which comes in handy when you are driving in a stop-and-start traffic jam, and they are easier to park on city streets.
Road speeds in the city are much the same as in the rest of the country. Driving at 100 km/h is the limit when on but can drop to 80 km/h in some places. Luckily the roads are well signposted in most areas, so you'll see this speed reduction indicated. When driving on main roads or motorways you'll reach speeds of up to 130 km/h
There are several streets where you are allowed to park on the roads, however, these are generally chargeable. They also hold a time limit of up to 4 hours. It can be a bit dangerous to park on the streets due to the unpredictable nature of other drivers. To avoid any hassle, it's best to park in public or paid car parks. Most hotels, shopping malls and attractions have large parking lots attached to them where you can park, sometimes for free and sometimes at a fee. At the market of Aabpara, parking is a favourite free public parking lot.

Pros:
New cars.Cons:
Location was difficult to find because the address was not updated. There was no sign boards which had made it easy to find the place. One more issue. I paid insurance through you. But when I went to collect the car I was forced to take another insurance. They didn't accept insurance I paid throughMost popular car type | Intermediate |
