I would think that ALL the 3rd parties Hertz uses, there should be a paragraph regarding NO DEBIT cards.....although, I do understand why they don't take them. When processing your $200 hold, a debit card would deduct it right away from your bank account, however, a credit card is just pending & can be cancelled upon closing out your return. The staff was super friendly, the price was right but the cleanliness of the interior could have been better. There were crumbs and pieces of food and a big area of stickiness around the seat divider and cup holders - probably just a spilled soda but still, in the time of covid you want the entire car to be clean.8,8 Very Good
