The staff was super friendly, the price was right but the cleanliness of the interior could have been better. There were crumbs and pieces of food and a big area of stickiness around the seat divider and cup holders - probably just a spilled soda but still, in the time of covid you want the entire car to be clean.10,0 Wonderful

The place had one car with the check engine light on. I refused it and they sent me to another location after I PAID them for a full size car which I RESERVED. Got to the new place and all they had were compact cars. So I had to get a compact car and I paid for a full size with the promise they would refund me the difference when I returned the car. The Lynbrook location of the Avis counter was convenient for my stay on Long Island. They seemed to have plenty of cars and there was essentially no wait at the counter to get my car.Cons:
The Avis office is in a dingy broken down building - no frills. The car was clean except for the interior windows which were filthy. Upon returning the car the Avis attendant must of noticed the filthy windows and even asked if I smoked in the car (I'm a non-smoker) and I informed her that that was the status of the windows when I rented the car just a few days earlier.10,0 Wonderful

Van was not ready or clean at pickup time. Staff at counter forst told us that our credit score was not high enough to use debit card at that moment. If we did not carry another card we would have had to leave with no van.8,0 Very Good
