I highly recommend not using budget. Not only did we have a terrible experience with a car not being available after reserving at seven months in advanced when I made a complaint, I heard nothing back. They basically took a vacation that was meant to be once in a lifetime it made it extremely stressful. We ended up going with enterprise and they were fantastic. The lack of response from budget shows that they do not care about the people they are servicing.

I reserved a large sedan for a trip cross country. When I arrived my only option was a truck. Obviously not happy with it and the additional fuel cost that I would occur during the trip. I kindly asked for a discount and they wouldn’t offer me one, not even 10%. And was told if they charged me for a truck the cost would be double, so be happy

I know there is shortage at current time, but car had close to 40,000 miles and noticeable damage on exterior

Cons:

Car was rented to me with very low tire pressure. Was travelling on the highway stop at 2 gas stations to fix tires air machines with broken and each one had to complete my trip with low tire pressure using way too much gas
