Cons:We were set out with a bad tire that kept losing air. I aired it up many times. Took it to a Hertz office who sent us to a Firestone dealer for repair. The tire had been repaired but was leaking. We took our rental time to do your maintenance work. Then corporate decided it needed an oil change after we had waited for the approval and repair of the tire . and would no release the car. We were give $50.00 for our time and trouble of doing your maintenance, rely cheap for our loss of use and dangerous condition.
Cons:I kept getting an error message when I attempted to book a better option, but the compact option worked. The car had a tire out of balance and had stains on the ceiling. I’m just thankful that it had cruise control, though.
Pros:The car was able to drive
Cons:No one was at the office during open hours for 30 to 45 mins. The person didn’t have a key to open the office so we waited even more. I was charged more than I was quoted in an official email with amount I would pay in total and no one seemed to know what to do about it, passing the blame onto the next person we dealt with. It’s still unresolved. I rate check before I buy so I’m not very happy about it. The car had terrible alignment issues.
Pros:Drop off was convenient
Cons:I was downgraded from a Cevy Tahoe to a Toyota mini-van. Price increased. All this happened at the counter at pick up. The woman at drop off (an employee) said Hertz needed to dump the car off on someone with a one way reservation because of the miles. The van was dirty. Shady business practice to say the least. I could of said no thank you and gone yo a different car rental agency but I was ready to get home after working through the holidays
Cons:Extra fees upon drop off that increased the price significantly. Also had to turn my first rental in due to immediate mechanical issues. Second straight time using hertz and having a car that couldn’t get me where I needed to go. Severely disappointed
Pros:One of the smoothest car rental experiences I've had. I usually rent cars by the Mobile airport, but this Hertz gave me a far better deal this time so I went to the one in the Renaissance hotel. George (I'm pretty sure that's his name) was very courteous and professional. Some car rental employees can be annoyingly pushy or rude, but George was very respectful and answered all of my questions - I knew exactly what I was getting into. The car met all my expectations, and there were no hidden fees or bogus charges.

Cons:It wasn’t clean. It’s smell like a dog. I asked for them to spray it and air freshener. When put on brakes the vehicle was shaking bad. I was very disappointed.
Pros:Location called right away to inform that they had no vehicles available
Cons:Cars are never available even after booking.
Cons:One of the vehicles was on empty. Both were dirty (crumbs and curly hairs in cup holders, dirty carpet and seats). Awaiting to see if I am charged for returning one of the vehicles on empty the way I received it.
Pros:The staff was trying to be friendly, but seemed to be understaffed.
Cons:The staff was overwhelmed. There was one angry man who commanded everyone's attention and made me nearly an hour late getting my car.
Pros:Pick was poor and drop off was great
Cons:The car was not cleaned or wash the dash lit up like a Christmas tree it need oil chage and the washer fluid was also go poor maintenance
Pros:Easy out and in
Cons:Not a hit against just enterprise, but I wish rental car classes matched auto industry classes. A full size rental is not a true full size car.
