Vehicle was fine, but almost as soon as I got it the needs oil change light came on and one tire was low on air pressure. Also fuel filler door was difficult to get to release.

Cons:

I asked for a full size car, was given a compact SUV, was told that was an upgrade. Negative, the Chevy Malibu I requested has more cubic square feet over all than that compact SUV. We had a wedding party for our daughter's wedding and wanted the space, but I could barely get our luggage in this compact, much less more people with room.

Staff was friendly and drop off was easy. Agent even asked if they could have done something to make my rental better. Great Alamo team in Kalispell at FCA.

Cons:

May just be a mountain thing and all cars being parked outside but car was pretty dusty.

I thought the staff at the desk were extremely efficient, friendly and accommodating. I don't usually respond to these things but they were an absolute delight. Everything felt quick and not corporate. I have ZERO memories of any other rental car interactions and, weirdly, I thought these guys were awesome.

Car class reserved 2 weeks in advance was "unavailable". Rental counter provide an alternate vehicle, but the vehicle had fairly significant front end accident damage, was dirty outside (HEAVY coating of dead bugs) and inside (cargo area had lots of dog hair and mud), and one of the rear seats was not functioning / movable. Not a great experience with a planned and reserved in advance rental.

It was fine, but when they wash the cars, they need to wash the INSIDE of the windshield. It was very difficult to see at night and we had to wash it ourselves for safety driving especially at night.

I booked through Kayak and upon arrival at my destination they informed me they didn't accept the payment type I carry. “If you had booked through our website you would have known that.” I was really frustrated and thankful another company had me covered and even price-matched so I wasn't bent over a barrel due to the situation.
