Car had no spare tire, tire blew up were on hold on 4 different phones at same time, nobody answer, stranded in the middle of nowhere. After 5 hours standed had to take a lift from 429 to Gainesville (1hr 45 min) $179.00. Didn't get my deposit back. Spoke to a Manager (he even spelled his name for me) when my husband and son went to give the keys back, nobody knew the Manager. No papaerwork at all, blaming COVID-19 for this.Dollar

The fact that I reserved a VAN and was told at the 11th hour that they didn’t have one and they were giving me an SUV which didn’t work for me. If I wanted an SUV, I would have reserved an SUV. My reservation was for a VAV for a reason. Terrible experience.9,2 Wonderful

I made the reservation for 3pm pick up at the Hilton, Budget location in Gainesville, FL. The reservation was cheaper than picking up at the Gainesville Airport. When I arrived, the desk was closed. I feel like I should not have been able to make a reservation for a time the desk would not be open. I called Budget and spoke to a representative that was able to move my reservation to the Gainesville Airport and confirmed that they had a car available. This was going to be $40 more expensive, but as we were without options, we agreed. We drove 20 minutes to the airport only to be told by the Budget representative that they had no cars and that he "didn't know what to tell me". I asked if there was anything else I could do, and that the Budget rep on the phone had confirmed that there was a car for me, to which he replied again, "I don't know what to tell you." I ended up walking counter to counter at the airport and asking for cars. I ended up having to pay twice as much as my original reservation for a car with your competitor. This could not have been a more negative experience.Hertz

Everything was fine except they close at noon on Sat and didn't let us know until I called to confirm. We had high anxiety to get there on time. There were many people that didn't get their car. Thank God I callef.10,0 Wonderful

The car was affordable. The gentleman we picked the car up from, while not outgoing, got the job done. The back seat was a little cramped, but it wasn't considered a "luxury car," so I guess that was to be expected.Cons:
