The Hertz rental called me an hour before scheduled pick up to let me know they didn't have the car, or any cars for that matter. They did have a cargo van for me to drive up to Vancouver with.Cons:
They could start by informing customers in the morning, not an hour before pickup. They could improve by having a system that doesn't allow you to book a car that doesn't exist. Best is if they actually rent you a car... But this might be too much to ask for.10,0 Wonderful

The pick up location was friendly and processed everything. They didn't charge me for the tablet that was installed which was nice. Even if I lost the use of it along with the car due to a suicidal deer in Montana. Hertz sent a tow truck that hauled to Kalispell airport where I picked up another car and was on my way.Cons:
They didn't explain the use/charges for the installed tablet. Because it was two different locations (Bremerton/Kalispell) they closed out the account for the one car and wrote a new one for the other so I didn't get the rate I had previously. It was a nice car though so not much to complain there..4,4 Mediocre

When I put in a reservation for a car, I expect that it will be ready to pick up. The car wasn't cleaned or detailed. It didn't have a full tank of gas and I was expected to pay to have it filled up. For a business that is a customer service industry, they failed miserably. I will never use Hertz rentals again.Sixt

They made money off my error. I missed the pickup and drop off location in Seattle on third. And thought it was at SEATAC rental car facility. I immediately tried to call and change it. But I had to pay for 3 days rental. I cannot recommend them or KAYAK.4,8 Mediocre

Not the car I reserved. Not clean with 3 used water bottles, dirty cup holders and a miscellaneous chalky type ball that was left in the car. There is no one at the entrance to take the return. Upon entering the pick up area to inform them that no one was at the return, they told me to go back to the return where there was someone cooking his drugs on his tin foil and subsequently shooting up in broad daylight at the entrance to the returns.7,6 Good

We rented a minivan but when we got there, they only had SUV’s. They offered us a large SUV which worked out. The car had not been cleaned on the inside and there were dried food splashes all over the middle bucket seat. We also received varying answer regarding early return of the car.
