The location was great The staff were generally pretty good.
The room was not great as far as appearance. Paint peeling off the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. Carpet badly worn in hallway and stairs Extremely slow service in restaurant. Stayed an extra night and the Hotel would not match the price we paid for the first 2 nights. $30 more. Wanted to see more of Charlottetown and had to pay more for room. Not good! I would not recommend the Rodd Charlottetown and would look for another place to stay on our next visit.
What a beautiful old hotel wonderfully restored and a simple stroll to downtown. Very clean and the staff was wonderful.
The staff, the beds, and how relaxing the room was.
I have stayed in a lot of places and this was hands down the best.
Breakfast and supper were great.
Nothing, everything was good
From the moment you step into the grand lobby of this historic property with its marble floors and barrel vaulted ceilings you will be surrounded by the historic elegance. Built in 1932 by CN Railways, it is a class apart from all other Island hotels. All rooms are tastefully decorated with modern amenities, a truly distinctive hotel.
