Pros: Fantastic staff. Great location. Lots of extras: fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, wine and cheese in the evening, real fast in the morning. Charming
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Friendliness, breakfast, afternoon drinks
Cons: No complaints

Pros: Fantastic location. Smallish rooms but definitely adaquate. The large courtyard hot tub was great and unexpected. Staff very good and accommodating. Nice greeting with wine and cookies and good a.m. bkfst.
Cons: Rooms a bit dark and few plug ins for charging.

Pros: This charming hotel is centrally located and has Complimentary breakfast each morning and wine and in the evening. If you are a light sleeper get a room on the top floor so no one is above you.

Pros: Access to downtown was amazing. Room was comfy, staff was very courteous and helpful.

Pros: Friendly greeting and pleasant staff Great breakfast; very healthy options Location can't be beaten Very charming courtyard
Cons: Might consider replacing the mattresses with more modern/comfortable ones.

Pros: Location of hotel is ideal. Close proximity to most of the must-sees in Charleston. Room was very pretty and well-decorated.
Cons: Used dishes were left laying around in various places around the property the whole I was there (24 hours). And the exterior is looking a bit shabby and neglected. A little more pride in the property by the owners and staff would be good.

Pros: This inn was exactly what I wanted for our 2-night stay. Room was adorable. Terrace for breakfast and the daily wine and cheese reception in the early evening was romantic (even though I was there with my sister) and relaxing and had beautiful fountain and landscaping. Fantastic location for walking around historic Charleston. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Cons: Small bathroom.

Pros: Proximity to restaurants/shops.
Cons: Was hesitant to book after reading the many negative reviews about the the hotels lack of cleanliness and finally booked thinking, 'it's probably just people over reacting'... It's not. When we checked in and arrived to our room, the previous guests' room service tray was still outside. Not a big deal, but queued my curiosity about inside. Upon entering it all looked clean. Bed made, bathroom dry and stocked. When I finally took a seat on the bed, I saw it. The linens had multiple brown and red stains on the quilt and pillowcases. And a few strands of hair. We immediately asked for the bed to be remade (which they did and apologized for), but it was still difficult feeling comfortable when we crawled in bed after a long day.

Pros: Staff is gracious and welcoming. Our room was spotless. Other reviewers have noted that rooms are small. Fine by us as we tend to spend very little time in the room while in Charleston. (We are frequent visitors to the city.) Our stay was blissfully quiet. The courtyard is charming and inviting - if only it had a bar...Location: perfect. Easy walk to anything in Charleston you might want, and gorgeous in all directions. This was our first stay at Elliott House - we'll definitely be back.
Cons: Nothing
Good6,8
Pros: Excellent, quiet location for historic district. The courtyard would have been very pleasant in good weather. Staff were helpful.
Cons: Small room overdecorated, with no place to put personal items. Rained hard all day, with no indoor dining area, so breakfast and wine and cheese reception were not offered in the courtyard. Breakfast choices were very limited. Would benefit from better bad weather planning.
Good6,8
Pros: loved the location, the free wine and cheese reception from 5-6, the courteous staff and the comfortable beds.
Cons: The shower was absolutely awful. More specifically, the water pressure in the shower was awful. I couldn't get clean, and when I told the staff they let me know they would have a plumber there within 24 hours, which was after we had left and taken two AWFUL showers.
Excellent8,8
Pros: I've stayed at the Elliott House several times over the years. Love the location and breakfast delivered to the room.

Pros: Location clean professional staff comfortable rooms wine and cheese and breakfast too wow
