Pros (+) Price was pretty cheap
Cons (-) It was rough hotel. We saw a swatiztica carved into the bed frame and everything was a bit worn out. The door looked like some tried to kick it in at one time so it was difficult to close. In addition, we saw one bed bug in our next hotel (Hampton) which made me concerned we got it from the red roof since the Hampton maintenance employees could not find any other signs of bed bugs.

Pros (+) Staff was friendly, tv was nice.
Cons (-) Nasty room, cigarette lighter and unopened tampon under bed. Floors dirty and sticky. Location right off interstate which was nice, but behind an abandoned wendy’s and abandoned creepy looking strip club.

The parking lot needs repaving. I should have asked ahead whether there was an elevator on site. There is not. I have some difficulty with stairs, and we were on the second floor, but it worked out.
