Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's convenient location, especially for its proximity to downtown and medical facilities, and many found the beds to be very comfortable. Cleanliness received mixed feedback, with some guests noting clean rooms while others mentioned issues. Breakfast offerings were generally appreciated, though some guests found them lacking or inconsistent. The most common complaint was about parking, with many guests frustrated by the high cost, mandatory valet service, and limited availability. Overall, while the location and bed comfort stood out positively, parking was a significant source of dissatisfaction.AI-generated from customer reviews

Cons (-) Wasn't able to stay at this hotel due to hurricane Irma. The area was too flooded to get to the hotel
Pros (+) Room was 20x11 nicely appointed for a comfort inn. But no towel racks in bathroom. Why do parents allow their children to run freely throughout the hallways? The hotel should have a "kid free floor".
Cons (-) Beds were comfortable for 1 night, but I would not want to stay there for more than 1 night. Breakfast was the typical fare that you would find at discount hotels. Pre-fab eggs.
Pros (+) Located 1 mile away from hisoric downtown Charleston.
Cons (-) The hotel! The room was ok but airconditioner did not work. Breakfast was no good. Hotel management decided to redo the parking lot during Spoletto Fest, typically a very busy weekend. Parking lot was...

Pros (+) I think hotel breakfasts have been going downhill over the pat few years. However, I was pretty impressed with the selection of breakfast foods offered. I didn't have to actually wait to get my hotel ...
Cons (-) I tried taking the stairs one morning from the 3rd floor to the lobby. The stairs didn't lead to the lobby or maybe I didn't go far enough.
