Clean rooms, nice staff, close drive to places we went
Not close enough to walk to eating places.
Great bang for the buck, only a few minutes drive from downtown.
Breakfast was just ok, biggest pet peeve was the coffee, it's from a machine not brewed.
All way I like
Breakfast was so limited. More fruits, boiling eggs hot and not cold. More variety of hams and cheeses. And more variety of sweet bread.
The juices no good.
The night shift clerk was very kind.
I make many trips to MUSC for medical appts. And this was for a scheduled surgery so I used this hotel being it was close by. I usually stay at Sleep Inn in Mt. Pleasant. This was by far my worst experience during a very difficult time! I checked in on July 24, it was the second shift clerk and he could not have been any ruder! My sister and I waited forever to check in and we get upstairs exhausted and it was very hot that day... well someone’s belongings and checkout reciept were in the room!!! I called downstairs and the clerk said he would change our room and someone had to come get the key cards. No apology at all. I go get the key cards while waiting on the extremely slow elevator. The clerk practically throws the cards at me and told me they were on another floor. My sister and I finally get to the new room and it was hot as hades! The air was not working appropriately and of course the clerk states he well send someone to look at it. I expressed my concern to him regarding our first room we were assigned and if the people were safe.. being their check out slip was on the tv. He said he would take care of it. We call back and request a fan if possible or another room, however none were available. Finally my sister went downstairs and the night shift clerk came on and she was so kind, she offered the use of her personal fan and explained that there was a mix up and lack of communication between the earlier shift and that the occupants of the first room we were given had apparently stayed over. Needless to say i have more surgery in the near future but will NOT be staying here! So disappointed!
