Great for area
We stayed here because of proximity to a friend's house. It was close and convenient which is what the intent was.
Adequate, but far from exceptional
Room was relatively clean and reasonably spacious. Breakfast was fine. Appreciated the shuttle to the airport. Smooth check in and check out. Was glad that they had a coin-op laundry, but it was expensive and I had to do two dryer cycles ($1.50 each time).
Poorly located. Not accessible to much, including getting into DC or back from the light rail. Staff was less than friendly. Kind of gruff. Did not seem eager to be helpful. Pool hours too short. Didn't open until 10:00 am, and I like to have an early morning swim. Small pool and hot tub.
Staff was not customer friendly. My experience at other Hampton Inn locations had been great, but this one leaves much to be desired.

It has everything we wanted: good price, friendly staff, hot breakfast, parking, Internet, etc.
Best value for the price, hands down
The staff was fantastic. Eli greeted us at the Front Desk and answered so many of our questions while checking us in. He supplied us with a breakfast bag to go in the morning since we were leaving before they served breakfast and got us set up with parking for the week. IF YOU'RE FLYING OUT OF DULLES, YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR CAR AT THE HOTEL FOR $35/WEEK! I don't know of any better price out there. We stayed one night, left the car there for a week and they came to pick us up from the airport. Amazing customer service. In the morning the Front Desk attendant was courteous and offered us another breakfast bag. The shuttle was quick and dropped us off right at the curb.
We were in and out in under 10 hours, so I can't speak at all to the amenities.
