Chania hotels near Cathedral of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary

Pros: The hotel is centrally located in the heart of old town, right next to the harbor. What makes it stand out is the kindness of the staff. I arrived with a severe sprain in my ankle (turns out it was a fracture) and they went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant in anyway they could! They even upgraded us to the honeymoon suite!!! The breakfast is all organic and delicious. We loved our stay and hope to come back one day!

Pros: This is a beautiful well located hotel close to the harbour in the old town of Chania. We were given an upgrade I think because there was hardly anyone in the hotel because of the time of the year. (Contrary to what we had read, early to mid November was perfect - no rain and 24 degree weather throughout our time in Crete). The rooms were over the top - large, very clean, nice character, and classy. The continental breakfasts were ample and the massages we had one afternoon were fantastic. Parking was in a free public parking area near the castle walls and about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. For a relatively large city, Chania was a terrific place with museums and a lively harbour area full of restaurants. Highly recommend both the hotel and the city.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helped is with everything we needed. They even let us stay in one of the common rooms after checkout so our son could take his nap in their travel cot!

Pros: Very comfortable accommodation with friendly staff. The apartment was cleaned every day as was the surrounding area and pool. An excellent supermarket next door. A quiet area with about a 15 minute walk to Chania harbour, restaurants etc. Parking in the street was not a problem, we always found a spot close to the hotel.

Pros: Spotless hotel. Good location, good breakfast. Nice and quiet and relaxing. 15 min walk to harbour area (5 euro in taxi). Greek salads at lunchtime, fabulous. Friendly helpful staff.

Pros: Great room with living room/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Nice outdoor terrace and communal pool. Easy to park for free on the street right outside the hotel. About 15mins walk into the old town. Friendly staff.

Pros: We stayed only one night at Halepa hotel. This hotel is a gem! The staff is very professional and eager to help. The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. We used hotel shuttle to get to the airport, very efficient.

Pros: We liked the beautiful rooms, the nice personnel at the reception, the lunch package for our trip to Samaria gorge and the parking facilities. We would book halepa hotel again!

Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Was not a problem to leave our car on their secured parking after the check-out for half a day while we took a strol through the city. Location is nice, they try to keep the atmosphere and interioir of the former embassy, which gives the entrance hall a certain flair.

Pros: The hotel was built in 1850 and was renovated in 1990. It’s architecture is classical and absolutely amazing! Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. The reception and “living room” area is large and contains a wood burning fireplace. This hotel will take you back to the way things were in the 1900’s. The staff are exceptional. If we come back to Chania we will only stay here!

Pros: We travel to Chania 4 times per year, this is the first time we have stayed in Bozzali hotel, I can honestly say it is the best . Everything is excellent, the room, the location, the staff, the best sleep we have had in Chania , beds so big and comfortable, extremely clean, fresh towels everyday. We for sure will stay in this hotel every time we visit Chania. Thank you to all at Bozzali you made our holiday perfect.

Pros: The location was incredible! It was in the old town and shops/restaurants are walking distance. Despite the busy market, it was still pretty quiet in the room. The host also responds to our emails very quickly, which was helpful. It's worth its price.

Pros: We loved room #1. It was perfect for 2 people wanting their own space as there were 2 bedrooms separated by a bathroom. We also had a balcony each. Free bottled water everyday, also we were given complimentary wine and beer! Extremely hospitable staff.

Pros: Charming hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was very pretty and comfortable. This is a small family run hotel snd the owners were very helpful in accomodating our room request, arranging car rental and suggesting itineraries for us. The housekeeper Violeta was a delight and kept our room very clean and supplied with fresh linens. We were here for a long stay and felt very at home.
