Cons: Nice hotel but racist staff

Cons: Breakfast could be better

Pros: Gym with Technogym machines, lots of light from big windows, brilliant. I asked staff to open it at 6am for me rather than at 7am and they did it.

Cons: No ironing board in the rooms nor access to ironing facilities. Laundry service can iron clothes at the price of 5 eur per item

Pros: The reception staff were exceptionally helpful, in particular Doriano. He arranged all our taxis to and from Ravenna to visit the UNESCO sites and the Opera. In addition he recommended "Claudia" as our guide and she was outstanding. The bar staff were also very helpful when we arrived back late in the evening after the Opera. All the chambermaids we saw were polite and cleaned our room proficiently.

Cons: The Restaurant. We found the food well below the standard we would expect of a 5 star hotel. The waiters were by and large very good and presented the food with the usual dramatic flourish but the food under the lids was often poor. The squid we had with the salmon was very old and dark in colour. The vegetables were often cold and limp ? cook/chill/reheated. We realise that it was low season and there were only between 10-15 people sometimes in the dining room but the quality needs to be maintained at ALL times. Is there a problem with the staffing or supervision in the kitchen? We would have probably given you a 5 star rating but for this weakness.

Cons: Needs a makeover. Fading elegance. Not Five star. Food needs improvement. Third time here

Pros: The location is quiet but close to the main streets for restaurant and dhopping

Pros: The hotel is vey nice, newly renovated. The food at the restaurant is amazing, very diverse and very high quality. The staff was extremely helpful in the restaurant, on the beach, at the Reception (especialy Margerita). The beach is very nice, clean, organised and not that crowded. We've really enjoyed our stay, thank you for your flexibility and for taking care of us!!

Cons: I had an Executive room for 3 persons, see side. Room was nice but too small for 3, moreover the view from the first floor is not rewarding. Better from the 3rd floor up.

Pros: Stayed before a few years ago. And was more than happy with the return visit. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The location was perfect with a very short walk to a long sandy beach.

Pros: Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Pros: The spa is probably the only good thing. Nice to have a spa after a day adventuring or at the beach.

Cons: A lot. First, the smell. The stench of sewage that came through the pipes in multiple rooms and the public bathrooms was disgusting. It is advertised every through the hotels website and also in the guest services booklets that you are entitled to free usage of the beach if you stay four nights or more. If you book with booking.com though they will pretty much tell you, you are scum and must pay extra for beach access. I asked them about this and pointed out that they have it written in the room and on all the documents that it’s included. At this point a very creepy lady came out and pretty much yelled at me for inquiring. “Very friendly” Breakfast looks alright at first. but is made with no love. The pastries taste like frozen pastries that are defrosted. Want an egg for breakfast? Either you have to cook it your self. Or ear their “scrambled eggs”, they are 95% oil or butter and will give you a heart attack. The hotel is trying to be a five star resort. Perhaps they should focus on what they are good at and perfect what they already offer.

Pros: The staff were amazing, especially Sylvia - she’s is the manager and is always very attentive, you don’t really get this in many hotels, one of my favourite places to go when visiting Italy! Make Sure you visit this place and defiantly eat the dinner in hotel, i recommend the veal! Perfecto!!!!

Pros: AC was a blessing inside the room, and our bathroom was quite spacious. Breakfast had plenty of variety and hotel is located nearby a few good restaurants. Free parking inside the hotel was nice too

Cons: Wifi never really worked and the hotel has quite some signs of wear and tear. A bit overpriced for what it offered.

Pros: Spotless clean. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast of a great variety (sweet and salty, fruits, yoghurts etc), with excellent coffee. Bathroom big and clean. great location next to the beach, shops, restaurants - yet the rooms are not loud because of traffic. Private parking next to a hotel. Very reasonable for the price. This is a great hotel to stay in!

Pros: General impression of the hotel is fine. It's comfortable, well-located and quite new. First, I worried about location, that is a bit far from the centre, but now I understand, that Pinarella is probably the most comfortable part of Cervia. Breakfast was ok, swimming pool, that I've used only once, was, in many opinion a bit too warm. Sea is near, and is just a 5 min walk through the park. Staff is polite and always ready to help. Air conditioning worked fine.

Cons: There were some issues about cleaning of rooms. For some reason they've left the garbage in a room a number of times. Balcony is way too small. I guess that's all disadvantages.

Pros: Excellent breakfast with plenty of healthy choices. Very nice and helpful reception staff.

Pros: Extremely friendly and forthcoming staff. Breakfast of a never before seem richness and quality with above all Maitre d'Hotel Pierluigi Mengozzi, who is a multilingual extraordinary personality with 20 years of experience there. He is "filling the place" with his smile good mood kindness. One of the 4 stars of the Hotel is certainly in his honor and owed to his outstanding kindness. He has a good word for every guest. Truly. The multilingual head of Reception is also extremely kind and helpful. A true pleasant stay and experience to call for more.

Pros: it really is a very good hotel, great and very helpfull staff everywhere, reception, restaurant, bar, breakfast really really amazing people! hotel has parking, is located very close to the beach and is a very nice place to stay at. Big plus for towel changes 2-3 times per day, this is a very nice touch. the pool is big and very nice. room we had had a great big balcony and a very very big bed. but like mentioned - its the staff that make the hotel and for this again a very very big PLUS and a BIG thank you!

Cons: it is maybe a bit overpriced but its a great location and I understand this, also the bar prices migh be a bit too high also but if you want luxury you have to know what you booked so this was not really a "bad" thing. some parts of the hotel are a bit outdated and some small touch ups would be nice. still this hotel gets my big big recomandation!

Pros: Location is good, backlight of all 3 hotels is synchronised and looks really nice. Outdoor pool also looks nice. Room service is not available during the night, but hotel staff is very nice and trying to help you with drinks and snacks even when the bar is closed.

Cons: You need to pay separately for a place on the beach. And it cost quite a lot. And if you haven't reserved it day before, you will be not able to find a place on the beach. Rooms are renovated, but very small. In the same time bathrooms are extremely old.

Pros: The breakfast (included)and dinner meals we Exceptional. The suite and terrace were excellent as well as spacious.

Cons: Upon checking our suite looked directly onto the Waldorf Hotel. We were reluctant to complain about this oceanview-blocking building obscuring a direct view of the ocean. We approached Reception with our concern and in short order were moved to a suite with an unimpeded view of the Adriatic Sea. The next day we spent several hours reading and sunbathing on our very private terrace. This is in the first week of January!

Cons: Selling in the bathroom was covered with the mould/dump with some bits falling on the floor. Was not safe box in the room and the cleaner went in the room 8:30 am whilst having do not disturb light set up.

Pros: Everything was fine. The location is great. We had a spacious junior suite with a large terrace. The beach and the pool was great. The breakfast was very rich with delicious food. The number of the toilets, showers and the changing cabinets were high enough at the beach. The service was very fast and effective at the beach and at the restaurant. The staff always smiling and helpful...

Cons: 1. The light in our bathroom was not strong and appropriate, needs to be improved. 2. We've been asked to pay 85€ to use the umbrellas at the beach for a few hours in our checkout day which is always free in every resort in the world. This was annoying. Then, they gave us one at the back side for free after I said that I won't pay them that money.

Cons: The hotel is getting old and needs some maintain, rooms are small and if it rains it will poor in somewhat. the hotel dose not have any reserved beach so one needs to pay around 25 euros a-day for beach, better deals can be made for a whole week.

Cons: The room I booked weeks in advance wasn't available, so I had to move for one night to another hotel 3km away. They only made provision to help with the transfer at my request. I think they should have appreciated the fact that I helped them out more and just said a nicer thank you. Having a 6km round walk to get my starter pack for the triathlon wan't ideal. Also the room in the Hotel Aurelia was a pokey place up in the attic with no window or view. Once I got my room in the Universal, everything was okay and it is a nice hotel, but the situation with the room shouldn't really happen.

Cons: We thought as it said it was a bike hotel there would be bikes to hire at the property. There wasn't and the recommended store was a distance away.

Cons: Booked a single room with a pool view & received a walled in balcony overlooking the restaurant extractor fans. Room was right next door to a function room where Bingo was played 12 hours a day.

Pros: Location was perfect. Across the road from the beach. Half an hour walk to the old town of Cervia which had some lovely bars and restaurants. Hotel pool was a good size with plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Cons: The parking lot is small, the hotel is huge and, also during the winter, if there is (as there was) an event, it become difficult to park. The mattresses seemed to me a little old, not extremely comfortable. To be a 4 star, I expected a little more details in the bathroom (example: not a soap dispenser...). Maybe because there are always a lot of rooms and a lot of guests, also during the winter, there is almost always the queue at the reception.

Cons: Overated for a 4 stars hotel. Overpriced. Breakfast was very poor, on a 2 stars hotel standards. Booked for a double bed and found 2 single beds attached, and without an extra pillow. Overall not very comfortable. Full of kids and families and elderly all around, not suitable for a relaxing weekend or for couples.

Pros: The Staff was amazing, extremely helpful and friendly, everyone smiling and trying to help going the extra mile to help with your own issues (I had an airport bag arriving problem ) which is not even their own problem. At the reception, at the restaurant, the cleaning team, you can sense the friendly atmosphere everywhere The cleanliness was superb, u can see it everywhere, and smell it as well. The free bike option gave me the opportunity to enjoy the city. I would like to thank everyone i got to meet and everyone behind the scenes as well.

Cons: The wifi was not at its top shape in the rooms, hardly actually. They could add a mini fridge and a kettle, they handled to keep my drinks for my race at their fridge but generally that would be a plus to have it.

Pros: The hotel was beautifully clean and the staff were fantastic. They all went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We were in town for the ironman event and they really embraced it, laying on an early breakfast and welcoming athletes back late into the evening.

Cons: It was a bit confusing getting to the hotel by car although I doubt this is an issue without the event road closures in place.
