I left my eyeglasses in car at time of turn in. I had a horrible experience trying to get a phone call in before closing time. Kept getting bounced to the national Avis phone service and wasted time. We had 7 people including 2 with handicaps. The Tahoe was not big enough for all passengers plus two mobility scooters. This made the 4 day’s we had the car very miserable. And the rental agency was too far away to take the car back.10,0 Wonderful

I rented a middle size SUV and was given a Subaru Outback hatchback. I don't consider an Outback a middle class SUV, however, it is a nice, fuel efficient vehicle, and was not going to complain. The rear hatch would only go up part way, so I asked the person at the counter how to correct this issue. They said there is a camera on the back, and the hatch will not go up all the way if I (or something else) am in the way. The actual reason is that the rear hatch can be programmed to only go up part way, which I learned on YouTube. The car was picked up in Casper WY and returned in Omaha NE due to the nature of my work traveling from one location to the next. I then found out that there is a $500 fee to drop off the vehicle at a different location. I was blown away by how expensive this was. It made my stomach feel a little upside down when I heard about this charge. Enterprise charges $200 for the same service. Had I known about this fee, I definitely will have rented from a different company.7,2 Good

Could not get replacement car. Road side service non responsive. Were sent hertz location that had been closed for over a month. Had to drive w broken windshield, ie shattered and cracked. Crack kept expanding. Nevervrent from Hertz again.Budget

I was going to Albany NY, not Casper. Thought I had it resolved by phone but NO. Huge line in Albany. After 45 minutes finally waited on. Clerk was cranky, said it was my fault. Ended up paying 2X the quoted price for a dirty car.Cons:
Cleaner car, reasonable price. More than one clerk at the counter. Train the staff to be empathic. Get decent staff on the phone that will do their job and make requested changes. I will never use budget again.10,0 Wonderful
