The location of Punta Tragara is amazing and the staff is spectacular. They were very thorough in helping plan the trip before our arrival and were fabulous on site. Every staff member - from the front desk to the pool servers was excellent. Sabrina helped us many times and I can’t praise her high enough. They coordinated servicing your room so as to always be at the perfect time. And the transfer service from the Naples airport to the hotel was seamless and well-worth it after coming in from a long flight from the US. A true gem!
Great location. Pleasant staff who were very helpful.
Rooms only average to good. Lots of mosquitoes. Bar and food needlessly expensive - this gave the feeling that the hotel were trying to bleed every penny from its guests. For example, absolutely no need to charge 9 euros for a bottle of beer (down the street the same bottle is sold for 3 euros) or 25 euros for a gin and tonic.
Everything is good and the view was nice
Far from the center 15 minutes walking
The room was not at the level expected. We informed the staff said they would change us but nothing was done
Poor service and arrogant attitude of staff was appalling and unacceptable. 1. The waiter at breakfast was shockingly rude, never in my life have I been treated so badly, particularly at an elite expensive hotel. Outrageous. 2. It seems bizarre in this day and age to hand a dinner menu without prices to a woman at dinner, especially given I was the one paying, as many women do these days. Lol. Also, when we would come in the front entrance at night, staff were casually chatting to each other and leaning on front desk with their backs to the door, couldn’t even be bothered to greet us. On the nights they did notice us, they rudely demanded our room number. Quite bizarre. 3. The check in host was friendly at the very start but after that we were ignored and made to feel unwelcome for the rest of our 3 night stay. I wonder if I was a man they would have behaved better, or whether everyone gets treated this poorly. Offensive and uncool hotel no matter how breathtaking the views are. The hotel is trading off the magnificent views which give the hotel its prestige. Certainly not because of the service. Or the basic breakfast. The beds aren’t that great either. I moved to the Capri Palace hotel and went for dinner at Caesar Augustus. Now that’s what I call 5 star. How about you send your staff there to be trained in hospitality.
