Pros: shower had enough water pressure and the cubical was spacious
Cons: most of it.
6,3 Good
Pros: Large room. Parking availability.
Cons: Old furniture. Dusty floors. Computer screen 17” instead of Normal TV. Max. 3 stars level.
6,7 Good
Pros: Nice spacious room. Spacious bathroom. Great location. Nice and quiet.
Cons: The room was great, big and spacious for the 3 of us. Great location. The air conditioner is controlled by the main desk, which we didn't realise when we booked the room. I had to ring reception 3 times and go down to visit reception to request it to stay on all night and to keep changing the temp lower. It wasn't until after 11pm the room started to feel cooler but only when the air con was set to 17 degrees. The room was 28 degrees until 11pm. Other than this we were happy with the stay.
7,5 Good
Pros: I appreciated being able to borrow a bike on some occasions as the hotel is some distance from things.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful Staff, clean rooms with large bathroom and comfortable bed, very good breakfast, free bike hire.
5,8 Okay
Pros: the pool is pretty good
Cons: it was necessary to change the room because of the beetle and bad smell there is no beach service at all 5 times the same breakfast with the minimum of skill, the fruit was one time

Pros: Great hotel with a good design. Good room with sea view balcony. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. Close to Paestum but not close enough to walk.
Cons: The WiFi was very spotty in our room. No real problems but it can be irritating.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb food both at breakfast, which had MANY choices, and dinner. Easy walk to the beach. Terrific view of ocean & sunset from our balcony. Enjoyed the deep whirlpool tub, comfortable beds, and fast internet. Attentive & personable staff. Tickled by imaginative décor!
Cons: Will need to come back in warmer weather when beautiful pool and outdoor hot tub are open to use, and ocean is fun to swim in.
5,4 Okay
Pros: A lots of thing to do around if you have a car.
Cons: It's a wedding/event hotel, not for touriste. Also not a 5 stars hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: From arriving to departure, the Hotel do there upmost to assist you in every way. I have travelled all over the World and this is one Hotel I shall return to.
Cons: Theres nothing to dislike.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location is ideal, few steps to the beach. The weather was nice, but not enough for swimming at the beach, so the warm pool helped. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious for a family with a 1 year old baby. He could easily play and craw in the room. There are many places outside and they are very spacious.
Cons: The dinner was extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity. The water flow in the shower and bathtub was definitely not the best and the temperature varies a lot during the shower. It would not be a big deal for an adult, but it was not pleasant for a baby.
6,3 Good
Pros: From outside and inside (excluding room floors and rooms) hotel seemed stylish. A great bonus was the balcony. The breakfast was okay. And the beds were comfortable.
Cons: The rooms need renovation. All the furniture was outdated and worn out. The use of TV was complicated and the TV remote was dirty and you could switch programms only using back and forth buttons. We had twin beds, however, the room had only one blanket. The bathroom sink had a crack, the provided plastic glasses were already broked and had no use, the bath was slippery and had some leakage.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room is so spacious and advance tech like the tub i love the water massage.
Cons: None
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable hotel at a good price. Big outside pool and jacuzzi. Restaurant is really good with reasonable prices regarding the quality of the products. Wide choice of wines.
Cons: There was traces of moisture near the ventilation system in the room.

7,9 Good
Pros: A very beautiful place with a nice beach, garden and forest
Cons: It was very noisy at night due to the large number of weddings it was during our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was so lovely! The location was perfectly situated giving access to the beach as well as a short drive to the temples. The grounds were stunning! I can't wait to stay here again ❤
Cons: There were no dish towels, paper towels or a sponge in the apartment which made minor kitchen messed hard to clean up.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Beautiful beach.
Cons: After booking we were notified the pool would be closed on our arrival date due to a lunch time wedding. There was no mention that the pool was closed for the season. i asked about the pool and was only told that it was closed. when pressed, staff just repeated it was closed. I wish we had been told that prior to booking. The wedding party took up much of the resort and we felt uncomfortable walking around. everywhere we went, we ended up walking through through wedding guests. And then there’s the fireworks and music that went on well past midnight. While trying to sleep through the noise of the wedding party, fireworks went off at 11 pm, midnight and again at 2 am. Who is watching fireworks at 2am? So, no sleep for us. The room was a family room. It was clean but the beds were terribly uncomfortable and the general esthetic was cheap and outdated. The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors well into the night. I’d read in other reviews that some rooms had been renovated but this one had not. Overall, the room decor came nowhere close to matching the resort decor. At dinner, the server brought our bottle of wine to us 10 minutes after he presented us our meals. At lunch the following day, we were given a menu to review only to be told that the majority of the items on the menu were no longer available. Overall, it was fine but I did expect more from this property. Not sure this I will return or recommend.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms, staff, service
Cons: Taxi’s impossible to get - half hour wait on occasion. Staff most helpful but local taxi firms and hotels need to get their act together
7,0 Good
Pros: The beach was amazing
Cons: Cats full of fleas
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, the hotel itself very nice, calm and quiet.
Cons: The kitchen utilities were quite poor, f.e. no forks and dish washing stuff.
7,9 Good
Pros: Fantastic beach nearby.
Cons: Coffee would run out before breakfast times were over.

Pros: swimming pool was not bad some people in the reception were friendly unlike the waiters
Cons: - far from the beach - waiters ignored us at the breakfast - they never came to ask us if we wanted coffee - the food at the breakfast was bad. one day the food was fermented and inedible. we had the feeling that they tried to poison us with food. we had to complain. problem was that the people in the reception did not speak english very well so we had to solve the problem via booking.com. if you want quality service do not visit this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to be helpful including cooking a meal just for us on a Sunday night when the restaurant was closed. We loved the style of the place and the whole atmosphere. We recommend this hotel highly. Excellent value for money too.

Pros: Everything was great: the breakfast, nice staff, free bike rental, close to the beach.

2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Large gym, well equipped
Cons: SPA not open on Sundays but not mentioned anywhere. Inside pool is obviously not heated and guest access not wanted by hotel. Staff largely unfriendly and not at all service oriented. It's the first hotel ever, I feel like an unliked intruder. Electric installation (we had a family room) is massively hazardous and surely not suited for kids. Interior of our room seems from the 80th and appears outdated. Overall , I would say value for money is really bad.
7,1 Good
Pros: Superior bedroom great size but no view just a building beside for 6 nights.
Cons: Did not think any of the staff were friendly. Felt when at reception or lounge we were disturbing them. Never saw a smile the 6 days we were there. There is no outdoor pool as it stated in blurb it is just a jacuzzi. Had to get shuttle bus to beach. A beach pass is reqired. Although nobody shared that info. Staff even a beach bed not friendly. Bar v badly stocked. When ordering a drink approx 15 min wait after they eventually acknowledge. We had to send back drinks on 4 occasions and then just stopped ordering there. It is really a wedding and conference hotel. Very plush furniture wise but very lacking staff wise. Even when passing reception and saying Buongiorno never acknowledge by anyone. Hotel looks great but all let down by no welcoming staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Anna at the front desk. She was great. She made our stay great.
7,5 Good
Pros: Was a nice property and very well kept.
Cons: There isn’t a pool and this info is not clear and I even call to make sure that was a pool... The other issues are wedding and celebrations...fireworks at 2 in the night...not good at all
7,5 Good
Pros: the hotel outside is beautiful, very good private beach facilities, indoor pool and gym very good
Cons: the breakfast with no vegetables, refill of food was very slow. the room had no outside view (window with light but no view), the room bath inconfortable to access, No outdoor swimmng pool .
9,2 Excellent
Pros: the private beach was our highlight, spent most of our time on the beach the staff were really sweet it is convenient distance from Paestum ruins the breakfast was lush, the room size was good and i really like the area loads of restaurants, supermarket close by, quite and relaxing and the shuttle to the beach was really useful
Cons: No outdoor swimming pool décor of the room was outdated The hotel always had a wedding booking or an engagement party booking or a baby shower booking (even on a weekday), so be prepared to see a spree of guests in their upscale gowns taking photos while you are strolling around in your shorts and skimpy top. We decided to chill one day in the hotel common area and found our self in the middle of someone's bride and grooms introduction. Unfortunately we were dressed for the beach so decided to sneak out of the hoard of people that were there celebrating the wedding; so we were spending most of our time in their private beach which was lovely
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was good Staff very friendly Breakfast was good Very clean and well decorated
Cons: No outdoor pool to use
6,7 Good
Pros: Quick shuttle to the beach and amiable staff in the shuttle. Hotel is 1 km from the beach and the hotel has its private beach for the guests. Beautiful surroundings at the hotel mostly though for wedding settings Big rooms and large beds
Cons: Weddings take up the whole of the big outdoor part of this hotel. No regular hotel guests were supposed to be there. All the setup was for weddings and no bar service, pool service and relaxing was to be found in that large area. The big pool is indoors but there is a small space in the rear of the hotel that is for relaxing and bathing in a small tub. No bar service outside of the hotel. You had to fetch everything yourself and bring it out if you wanted to sit out The service at the beach was OK but they don't accept cards in any way. Only cash. And the restaurant was only open till 15h30 for snacks. Wifi at the hotel was very slow and didn't work most of the time. Seemed like most of the guests had best signal near the reception.

5,4 Okay
Pros: The pool area is the best thing about this hotel but really not worth staying there just for that. We had the family room even though we booked a double so it was a really nice size. Private terrace doesn't have a nice view.
Cons: You can tell that this hotel is mainy interested in hosting events (weddings etc). The hotel guests have to dine in the basement even though there is a lovely big room with tables on the ground floor overlooking the pool area. Reception staff were nice but not very efficient. We complained on the first day already that our room door was left unlocked. This then happened every day and we complained every day. They sent a technician to check the door but we explained that the door is fine but has to be closed properly to lock which clearly the cleaning staff didn't do as it was open every time we came back after they had cleaned it. One of my necklaces went missing which isn't surprising. The breakfast wasn't nice. Selection of stale croissants and cakes, carton juices, tiny selection of ham and salami and some cheese. Really not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel! The private beach is further away than advertised and you have to pay for the beach/pool towels! The private beach is shared with people from the camping ground there. Even though this hotel was supposed to be the highlight of our trip it was very disappointing. Stay somewhere else! Also, the photos on booking.com make it look like the room you're booking has a nice view of the pool area, which it doesn't!

Pros: It’s oke
Cons: Don’t know, guess that’s how things works in Italy
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large pool, very clean, sun loungers always available. Clean rooms. Lovely breakfast. Free parking. Beach 5 mins walk away, sea clear and sandy underfoot, free loungers and parasol with hotel voucher. Can recommended pizzeria linked to hotel, superb pizzas and pasta for a really good price. We went to pompei, mount Vesuvius, Sorrento and Capri from here (about 1 1/2 hours away) Ruins at Paestum we’re really good and the sunset and promenade at Agropoli was amazing! Stayed a week with two teenage boys. A little quiet for them but overall a really lovely hotel.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The buffet breakfast was excellent. The room was very large. Fabulous
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: - Toilet bowl (!) and floor in the bathroom were not cleaned. - It was no handheld shower head (!), only rain shower. It is unbelievable!!! - It looks like 30 years ago it was modern hotel. But now there is mildew in the shower, rundown elevator, etc.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent quality rooms, clean, friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast food quality
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice breakfast buffet with local specialties, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: A bit noisy from the other rooms and water overflowed from the shower, but the staff cleaned it up right away.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location from Restaurants Bars and Beach. The facilities were brilliant. Sadly we didn’t get to make use of them fully. Beatrice and Silvio ( I apologise if this is incorrect spelling ) were fantastic. We had to be up early for a train to get home, Beatrice was kind enough to offer us invaluable information and booked us a taxi and arranged for a take out breakfast. We can’t thank her enough.
Cons: Sadly the only one thing is the shower didn’t drain and did spill into the Bedroom. The staff sorted this very quickly. So didn’t cause us any issues. Thanks again.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has changed a lot since I visited it some years ago. The design is unique,.. a bit kitsch, but fits in the context of the area :) The stuff is super friendly and the colazione favolosa!!! :D Sea is not far, just some hundred m to walk :)
Cons: I actually thought I had booked another hotel.. It was closer to the sea, but then I understood the same owners have restyled the Cerere as the other hotels they have in the area. It is not clear on the web site. I missed a bit the warm swimming pool in November I still remember from the 2018 :) I booked a 3 person room, as we had to be there 4 days for work and I wanted to be sure we have more space, but we got a simple double room. It was nice! After I saw the triple, and it really does not give you much more space, In any case, it was fine. The breakfast was definitely better than in the other similar hotel last year :)

Pros: Lots of choices for breakfast. Dinner was also delicious.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the penthouse apartment in the complex behind the hotel for four night in mid-June with 1 adult and 3 teenagers. The apartment was better than expected, spacious, newly renovated by the looks of it and with an amazing roof terrace. Wifi worked very well. The hotel itself was 2 mins walk away with helpful reception staff and a lovely, large pool which we had nearly to ourselves most of the time. There was no shortage of sun loungers. At night time and also in the afternoon there was some entertainment (aqua aerobics and dancing). A short walk through the beautiful pine forest brought us to the hotel's lido, where we were allocated an umbrella with a sun lounger and deck chair (despite there being four of us we were only allocated one set by the hotel but the beach staff would have given us another one if we'd wanted it but we didn't). The beach is lovely and sandy with a very active lifeguard. The sea was actually quite wavy at times but it felt very safe and we loved it. There is a safe footpath separated from the road by a low wall which we used to walk to the village of Laura nearby (shop at the crossroads, 10 mins walk). It also leads to the village of Paestum. The archaeological site at Paestum is about 4kms walk but the most direct route is along a road without footpath. We walked along the beach instead and then along the road in the village but it took over an hour. The bus service in the area is unreliable, so if one stays longer, a car would be useful. We arrived by train and the hotel arranged a transfer with lovely Gennaro, for only €10. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant as it had no outdoor area. The lido serves food (pizza, pasta, salads) and is not expensive but food finishes at 5pm and the lido closes at 7.30 pm, which is a pity. All the beach bars were closed at night actually, they have longer opening hours and dinner in July and August only. There are a few restaurants in Laura. We did very much enjoy our stay.
Cons: Air conditioning was only in the living area, not the two bedrooms, which shared a fan between them. This could have been a problem in hotter temperatures but we managed (high 20s). The shower is small and the shower head doesn't stay up very well but had good pressure. There was no washing up items (brush, cloth etc) in the kitchen and we were told we'd have to buy these ourselves. I would expect a 4* hotel to provide such items, especially if requested. The pool bar was not open during the day when we were there and the nearest shop is 10 mins walk away, so one has to be organised. There was also a lot of building work going on in the apartment complex, which seems to be a mix of holiday and permanent apartments and we were woken up by 8-9am by loud machine noise on weekdays, a bit unlucky but didn't bother us too much
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Apartment very spacious, nice and clean. Well equipped, air-conditioned, own wi-fi. On the huge, covered terrace table, sofa, sun beds, shower. To the beach 10 min walk through the pine forest. Hotel beach with lifeguard, clean, loungers and umbrellas, showers and toilets on the beach.
Cons: The apartment is located in the neighborhood of the hotel behind the wall in a private housing estate. Renovation of apartments or private apartments in all buildings. Daily noise from the morning, dirt and dust, it was impossible to use the terrace. A notoriously inactive remote control for the entrance gate to the estate. There is 1 sun lounger and 1 beach chair on the beach. I understand the rules at the full occupancy of the hotel, but in a situation where about 10 sun loungers are occupied on the whole beach, the service (not speaking in any language except Italian!) Makes you pay for the second deckchair !!! After checking out, I received a phone call from the hotel that I have to pay an additional tax fee (?) About which I was not informed before !!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Own private beach, 150mtrs from hotel, great breakfast choice, accomadating staff when we decided to stay longer.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel’s private beach had good sun beds , sun shades, restaurant with good selection and other facilities - everything very clean Good size rooms, very clean (everywhere in the hotel) Very friendly staff at the front desk and the restaurants My son is Celiac (Gluten sensitive) and the hotel provided him every breakfast with a gf basket with gf options including bread, muffin, toast bread, crackers Kids liked the pool and the tennis court Great free parking area just next to the hotel
Cons: Bad acoustics in the room - our room was near the elevator and we could hear everything outside the room - expect early wake up breakfast should include more healthy options like different salads (the only vegetable that was served were tomatoes), more fresh fruits, almost no cheese selection (mozzarella was only served on Sunday) Beach towels cost 5 Euro a piece - we expect a 4 star hotel to be able and provide this service for free No sea sport options for rental such as kayaking, standup paddle, other
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to the beach, nice pool.
Cons: Hotel party every night, right outside our window, even though we were staying in apartment village, not hotel itself. The apartment was shabby and needed good beds and a bigger shower. No washing machine or dishwasher.

Pros: The hotel was comfortable and in a brilliant location for walking to the temples and restaurants. The staff were helpful and pleasant and always on hand. We chose to stay in the main building. Our room was lovely with a balcony. Air conditioning worked well as weather extremely hot. The pool was amazing and beautifully clean. Our room was very comfortable with plentiful supply of towels each day.
Cons: Needs minor updating but in very good decorative state.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Rita was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast was very good. We were able to borrow bicycles to ride down to the beach and up to the ruins. We were given a lift back to the station when we left which was lovely as it was so hot! Location ideal for the ancient temples and the coast.
Cons: Summer language school when we were there so lots of children and noise at times round the pool area.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in a,great location near the Greek temples, rooms stylish pool and gardens lovely, food good and staff friendly and helpful transferred us from and to railway station. Would recommend for short stay or somewhere to relax for longer.
5,8 Okay
Pros: nice and about 20 meters swimming pool was but caps necessary, nice green garden, silence & quiet in the hotel and area, short distance to the Paestum ruins
Cons: Smell - it is the village and it is felt everywhere (and I don't think about flowers ;-)). Probably there are rooms in different standards in the main building and in the bungalow - in the bungalow I did not see the room from the first photo on booking. Breakfest - no vegetables a no healthy products :-( eg. lot of different sweets from the supermarket not from the local bakery, what I would prefer in the village; bred not fresh. Location - long distance from the railway station. Bikes - avalaible but in terrible condition.

Pros: Ideal location right across the street from the temple ruins. A peaceful corner of town set within beautiful grounds. A bargain for under a €100. You can even walk to and from the train station. A nice breakfast also. Perfect overall!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We loved how close this property is to the ruins. We walked there, went to the museum (very good) & then visited the ruins. Stayed till Sunset which was a highlight - watched music & light show. Nearly everyone had left. The breakfast in the stunning breakfast rooms was fabulous. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Walked to a restaurant near by.
Cons: Just the stairs but the young man was very helpful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful service and excellent breakfast with many homemade tasty jams, croissants and breakfast cakes.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This location couldn’t be better for visiting the ruins of Paestum. Plus, the rooms are lovely with windows out to the garden. All the staff was welcoming and helpful. It was easy to walk to nearby restaurants and bars. However, the abundant breakfast means you can likely skip lunch. Don’t miss the short walk to the Barlotti Buffalo farm to taste their sublime ricotto cheese and other to see the milk buffalo and their calves.
Cons: On weekends nights (Friday & Saturday) music from some nearby venue may keep you awake. It lasted from 10 pm to 2:30 pm on the October Friday when we were there. I recommend a pillow over the head.

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay in the third floor suite of Hotel Sogaris. We loved the style of the hotel, the lovely see view from the balcony and the private beach in cca. 50 meter walking distance from the hotel. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the room was super clean. The hotel runs a restaurant where perfect lunch and dinner is served. We can just recommend it!
Cons: Everything was perfect
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here out of season and very much enjoyed it, despite perhaps being the only guest. The hotel is modern and fresh. The rooms comfortable. The staff welcoming and friendly. A lovely breakfast laid out for me alone each morning. It is set back with a screen of trees on a most beautiful beach, which I had to myself, and the swimming was remarkably warm despite the lateness of the season (for me the highlight). A great base for exploring the hinterland of Southern Campania, Paestum and the Cilento. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel near sea, helpful staff, good breakfast. Equipped beach (small jack-stones). Children liked swiming-pool. Family room with bunk (2-levels) bed has very small area, but it's ok for couple nights.

Pros: Beautiful garden with big pool and amazing views. The family are very friendly and welcoming, and created a very relaxed environment (and regularly refilled our bottles with cold filtered water!) We had fresh apricots and figs from their garden. The breakfast was great with boiled eggs, cereals, pastries, fruit, juices. There is lots to do in the area - Paestum is amazing, we went to a buffalo farm (the region is the ‘capital’ for mozzarella), the beach, and chilling by the pool is wonderful.

Pros: Ideal location right across the street from the temple ruins. A peaceful corner of town set within beautiful grounds. A bargain for under a €100. You can even walk to and from the train station. A nice breakfast also. Perfect overall!

5,0 Okay

Pros: Friendly and helpful Staff, clean rooms with large bathroom and comfortable bed, very good breakfast, free bike hire.

Pros: the pool is pretty good
Cons: it was necessary to change the room because of the beetle and bad smell there is no beach service at all 5 times the same breakfast with the minimum of skill, the fruit was one time
