The Ocean Lodge

If you are planning to take your pet with you to The Ocean Lodge, they will receive a bag of goodies on arrival which includes dog treats, some toys, food and water bowls, a blanket and some waste bags. In addition, treats are always available for pets in the lobby area. A dog wash is available in the front lawn of the hotel, and you can request a pet sitter from the front desk for an extra fee. Please note that you can have up to 2 pets per room, at an additional charge of $20 per pet per night.

The Ocean Lodge does not have its own on-site fitness center; however, all guests receive complimentary passes to use the Cannon Beach Fitness Gym which is open from 5:00 am to midnight every day, or to Cannon Beach Yoga Arts if they prefer joining a fitness class. Yoga Arts offers 8 styles of yoga classes with classes available every day of the week, including Chair Yoga which is practiced using a chair for support or seating, Transformational Fitness which is a class inspired by Pilates, yoga and barre, and Beach Yoga for those who prefer doing their exercising outdoors.

If you are celebrating a special occasion while staying at The Ocean Lodge, look into booking the Romantic Interlude at the Beach package which includes roses, a bottle of wine and strawberries on arrival, as well as a scented candle and rose petal turndown to add a little bit of romance. For a romantic day activity, book a Northwest Picnic To-Go picnic basket which includes a range of gourmet food and sweets and a bottle of wine which you can enjoy at your favorite picnic spot. Alternatively, you can add services from a list of extras to make your stay special such as an in-room massage or a cake.

The Ocean Lodge has self-serve laundry facility on site which guests can access. The washing machines and driers in the facility are all coin operated, and accessible every day from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The most convenient way to get from the airport to The Ocean Lodge is by car, which will take around 1h 45m. If you are planning to take a taxi, a one-way fare will cost around $215, but you can also easily rent a car from the Portland airport, with 5 car rental companies available on site including some which are open 24h such as Avis. In addition, Alamo, Budget and Thrifty are located off site but are easily reachable using the shuttle bus that operates to the rental counter and to the rental car parking area.(Prices checked 03/06/19).
