Just a genuine good quality hotel. It is in a superb location to the centre of town
I couldn't fault anything
The location in particular. Only yards from the Plaza Mayor. The staff were also very pleasant.
The room became rather warm. We couldn't open the window because of our cat, and couldn't get the heating to turn down.
The hotel was in a good location and nicely decorated. The bedroom was spacious and the furnishings were of a good quality and attractive.
The bedroom(room121) was directly next to an extremely noisy and irritating industrial fan or industrial unit of some sort! It made it impossible to sleep all night! Very, very annoying. The shower was very poorly designed and had an open door with no sides to the shower tray. As soon as the water was turned on the water ran everywhere and even through in to the bedroom. What a disaster! We had to spend about 15 minutes mopping up with the spare towels.
Easy to get to from the motorway, so location
Rules about not being able to leave dogs in the room alone. This made it impossible to use the facilities especially bar and restaurant. The room service times did not take into consideration that guests could not leave the dogs in the room! The service didn’t start until 12 noon so no way of breakfast too your room? Dinner was after 20.30 and that is far too late for us.
Proximity to the main attractions. A large well appointed room.
expensive buffet style breakfast. Probably VfM but better options at local cafes. noise and disturbance. Generally it was fairly quiet but the room overlooked an open concourse with attached hotel bar. There is a suite of seminar rooms on the opposite side of the concourse and people would spill out onto the concourse during breaks and at the end of their courses. It meant we had 100 or so people with the attendant bar noise outside our room - on one occasion at midnight. Intending customers should be careful to choose a room that does not overlook the concourse.
