It is the only place in our stay in Argentina where my credit card did not work. Please guys get a machine that accept 5 digit codes!
This is our second stay at the Hotel Bel Air in B.A. We stayed once in 2008 and again in 2010. The hotel is in a great location in the Recoleta neighborhood. It is close to Avenida Sante Fe and a number of shops as well as the Recoleta district. It is primarily a residential neighborhood so it is a great way to observe and become part of the pace of Buenos Aires life. There are plenty of decent restaurants in the area. I can't think of a better palce to stay if you are in B.A. for a vacation. The rooms are very modern/minimalist (think IKEA), if you don't like this style you may not like this atmosphere.
The rooms can be on the small side. I recommend getting what they call a "Double Superior" as it has a small sitting area. The "Double Comfort" is a bit on the tight side.
The convenient location and courtesy of the staff. good security
The breakfast. There is a full table but more attention could be given to the quality of the food. Less quantity and more quality.
The situation is magic... all those trees in the middle of a city left me feeling so peaceful. The rooms are adequate but the staff are first class as nothing is too much trouble for them to do for the visitors. Our breakfasts were wonderful. We are in our 60's & 70's
The hotel is situated in a nice and safe area and is very convenient for shopping and city sight seeing.
The view from the window could use some improvement
Great location, excellent value. An added plus was the free Internet access. This was our third stay there and we will definitely return.
its ideal for a trip to the city, nearby you can find all what you like and the hotel has a good vallue for money
breakfast only argentinian standard
Courteous, friendly and helpful staff who were comfortable speaking english. Nice little bar that served good food, well priced. Good area.
No, but I would have liked to have a steam room or sauna
Small and intimate
Quality of room service food poor....asked for a king bed...received two doubles....asked for smoking received non smoking
The front desk staff were very helpful. All spokje fluent English and were very knowledgeable about the city and amenities
The cafe in the hotel lobby. Terrible service..sometimes open, sometime closed, but no explanation
