Pick-up and drop off was great. Inside of the car was dirty and we had to put air in all four tires which should not be required for a 10 day rental costing close to $90/day. The attendant provided a $50 refund which was acceptable I suppose. Would have happier with a little more than that.Reviewed Oct 3 2023

The Budget counter staff in Halifax were great. The rental cost was high, much higher than in previous years. But aside from cost the rental experience was great.Reviewed Oct 16 2022

The Maxda CX 3 was woefully under-powered. The check engine light was on continuously and I told the woman at the desk who insisted that was really an oil level light that was never reset at last maintenance. Not really a good answer.Reviewed Oct 13 2022

Pros:The staff was very friendly, especially having to pick up the car at midnight. I was happy to find the staff readily available.Cons:I wish I had been aware of the check in process to return the car, not that it was a problem at all, but just so that I could have been prepared to simply drop the car off without having to go to the desk.Reviewed Oct 2 2019
