I do not like anything
The hotel consists in two parts: the hotel itself with decent rooms (although they were aggressively decorated (red, pink) and a dependency with rooms no bigger than a bathroom and without central heating and without windows!!!! My guess is that these rooms are not reported to authorities like hotel rooms. It is a monkey business!!!
Pretty quiet location, not to far away from center,
The room i smalllest room i ever had at a hotel, But functional for 1 person. The staff is horrible. Breakfast is... i dont know beacuse my wake up call didnt happend, instead i was charged for another night and lost my flight.
Everything was OK
the cost of 29 euros was fair. The staff spoke English and were friendly.
there was no air condition which meant I needed to leave windows open, but still hot. The insects also can thru the windows and stayed. The shower outflow pipe was blocked and water did overflow onto the bathroom floor.
ok for 1 night after a rock concert(ac/dc)
non smoking rooms
the staff were nice........
did not appear as seen in the website..........
It was the second time at Hotel Tripoli. Once again, it was enjoyable and pleasant due to its wonderful staff and management. This is indeed a little gem in old Bucharest, surrounded by a very interesting area with good public transport connection to Piata Unirii and Boulevard Bratianu.
Nothing really ; I suppose that if one expects a huge breakfast one will be disappointed but this is not the UK or the US. Romanians either have cold meat and cheese with coffee, or pastries, this is standard. The hotel provided juice and fresh fruits as well in the morning.
Extremely clean hotel, the staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Wonderful with children. Great location in old Bucharest, and city centre easily accessible by public transport.
The rooms was clean and comfortable. The price was good
The breakfast was poor.
