Great location and you can feel the history of the hotel. Staff were lovely .
Hotel feels slightly dated. WiFi didn’t work in my room and hot water took ages to run. Evidently at some point was a fantastic hotel, but it feels tired. Bathroom needed updating - shower was not up to scratch.
The lobby of the hotel is quite beautiful Once you enter you expect to have an amazing room
We arrived at the hotel at 3:00 since the check in time was at 3:00 they made us wait for 30 min to get our room without the luggages we called them an hour later to ask for our luggage which they didn t bring. The room we booked on booking didn t ressemble at all to what we had, it looked totally different , and when we asked for the room we booked according to the pic they said this was the royal suite room! So why is it available on your page as a regular room? The hotel needs renovation! The rooms are very old ! The sofas in front of the elevator are very cheap! We didn t enjoy our stay at all and we were really disappointed by booking we are loyal to booking and make all our reservations through you but this time we had a very bad experience
I liked that the location was pretty central. I could walk to everyplace in downtown from the hotel.
We requested a blue themed room and even though we got a confirmation email, we did not get it. The bathroom’s sink and shower were not really clean and old. The window was old and dirty when opened.
The hotel looks absolutely beautiful from inside the lobby, it’s like stepping back into the 1920s era, very gold, very grand. Great location to travel around Brussels
The first room we were given was like something out of American horror stories! It was outdated, dirty and really disappointing. The lady at reception agreed to change our room but we had to go back a few hours later. Once we came back we were greeted by a very rude man. Told us we couldn’t change our rooms and we were already booked in that room as they were fully booked. Luckily the women we spoke to previously arrived and said we were lucky to catch her as she was just about to leave! After changing our room to one that was actually photographed in the pictures. It was ok. Not the cleanest, the carpets need a good scrub for sure but miles better. Clearly they have started renovating the rooms in the hotel but try to get people to stay in the outdated ones first. Reading the reviews previously it looks like a lot of people have complained. This is not a 5 star hotel by any means...
