7,0 Good
Pros: The position of the B&B was perfect. The owner gave me tips on where to eat and had a fabulous summary printed out of what to do.Very appreciated. Bosa is stunning and SO worth a visit.
Cons: My shower went cold after a few minutes, when I had shampoo in my hair. When I told the owner he still charged me full price for my stay and assured me that usually two people should be able to have full showers before the water goes cold. If I had been the owner and a guest had a cold shower? I would offer a discount and not make excuses. The room looks better in the photos than in reality. Yes, the room is huge and spacious, but the windows and shutters are plastic, the tiles new, taking away all the personality of an ancient building. The place had no charm IMO.

Pros: Great staff!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Sa Balza was a fantastic place to stay in Bosa! The room was beautiful (loved the vaulted ceiling), huge and well equipped (we had a fridge which was very useful), and the location was great. Emanuele was the perfect host. He speaks great English and was able to give us plenty of tips about where to go and where to eat. He also allowed us to check in early and waited for us when our bus was slightly late. It was one of the cheapest B&Bs we stayed in in Sardinia and also one of the best - highly recommended! Though do note that breakfast is not actually part of the deal - not a problem at all because the typical Italian breakfast of coffee and pastries is readily and cheaply available in plenty of cafes.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was extremely helpful and the property had many original features but also lots of cool space and modern shower facilities.
Cons: I wanted a kettle in my room for tea but this isn’t done in Italy. However many cafes for tea and coffee very close. Fridge was useful
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location and the historical nature of the building
Cons: NA
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Emmanuele was extremely nice and helpful. He showed us all the visiting tips in Bosa. The room was really spacious and well decorated!
Cons: Mattress is a little bit uncomfortable and the room is kind of humid but of course it’s really near the sea.

Pros: The owner was extremely hospitable and friendly, the room was clean and spacious, and the location was fantastic!

Pros: The host, Emanuele was excellent. He was very welcoming and provided a wealth of local knowledge. The place is centrally located in the beautiful old part of town.

B&b Pessighette Dimora DI Campagna - Bosa - Building

9,3 Excellent (148 reviews)
R1 102+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at B&B Pessighette Dimora di Campagna in Bosa, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Bosa Castle and Turas. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location just a few car minutes outside of Bosa. Enjoy pure nature in the middle of nowhere. Bosa can be a bit smelly during summer so this is a perfect retreat while just being around the corner to enjoy the city. Clean rooms and a very nice breakfast. Excellent local tips about restaurants and beaches. Possibility to borrow sunshades, top.
Cons: The air condition is centralized and so if you feel in the middle of the night that it is too hot you have no possibility to turn it on. Not ideal. The mosquito protection is very loud to open and so you might wake your neighbours up if you enter your balcony.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cheap, clean, all we needed in the apartment...lovely view.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location in the countryside but close to Bosa, such helpful hosts booking dinner and taxi for us, and delicious dinner and wine at the property.
7,5 Good
Pros: Aldo is very nice and the breakfast was great!
Cons: One of the room is under the roof, so there are some wood joist ceiling that can be dangerous.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The Villa is located in the a hill on the opposite of Bosa. It takes around 15 Minutes to arrive at the B&B. Claudia and Aldo created in the wine hills an oasis of home. Although we arrived more earlier than announced Aldo came to show us the house. The Rooms are lovely decorated and are decorated in pink, crema or mint. All rooms either have a shower or a bathtub and a balcony. The rooms were perfectly clean (even the best 5-Star Hotels do in this topic sometimes a worse job). For the evening we also got the chance to taste Aldo’s homemade wine (very tasty!). Sometimes Aldo and Claudia offer to prepare Appetizer or even a whole meal for their guests on the terrace (please notice that for this they actually need a notice in advance. Also the breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Sardinia. Homemade bread, homemade jams, typical Sardinian cold cuts and cheese including a freshly prepared coffe secured the best start into the week. Thank you a lot for this amazing stay! We will definitely come back!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful location, great to relax. Breakfast with homemade jum, yoghurt and bread was the best we had in Sardinia. Hosts are very helpful in finding good places to explore!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wow.. what an ambience! Really lovely and unique stay.
Cons: It was quite hot but on the other hand we left terrace door open so extra points for open air :)
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice location near to the town 5 min drive Hosts welcoming on arrival Nice breakfast Sure it is nicer in the summer
Cons: Didn’t think it was great value for money Would be nice to have separate guest entrance to the house
6,3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, parking space also nice
Cons: - Owner of the property moved check-in to 17:00 instead of 14:00. Because he has no time. We should wait in the city for 3 hours. No compensation or discount for that. - In the description of the property, you can see that they have an air conditioner. They have, but they turn it off during the night. All rooms located under the roof and during summer it's very hot inside rooms. During the day air conditions work also very poor. - Bad WiFI and no even mobile phone connection inside the house
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Tranquility and lovely scenery. Close proximity to beautiful beaches and Bosa. Very informative hosts, lovely breakfast with freshly homemade bread. Beach equipment readily available.
Cons: It felt a bit like we were invading their personal space at times. Although the hosts were friendly enough, it seemed at times they did not know each others jobs, e.g when asking the host for an additional pillow in the evening, who was still up and serving another guest, but who than had to wake up the hostess to accommodate our request, who was less than pleased to be disturbed.

7,0 Good
Pros: Lift went straight into the room with a special key. Great views from the top floor.
Cons: Breakfast finished at 10.00am first morning we arrived at 9.30 and all the eggs has gone. Second morning we arrive at 9.00am and no bacon left. We complained at reception and they apologised and said it had all gone and no more will be made. The room was excellent and a suite on top floor, accessed via a lift into the room. The bath however has been taped up to prevent it leaking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place, great location , stunning views
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location in Bosa is excellent.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the hotel and location. It felt like we were sleeping in part of a castle. We also had a great view of the real castle. The breakfast was nice and there was more than enough parking space. The cute town was on walking distance and we had the best pizza at Strapizzami. We even got a map and advice where the nicest beaches were located. We really enjoyed our stay!
Cons: The refrigerator was outside our room and we had to share it. Other than that our stay was really pleasant.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location on the quiet side of the river, just a few minutes walk from the centre. Elevator, recently renovated. Parking on the street near the river apparently safe. Friendly staff. Unbeatable low season price.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful stylish hotel, ideally located near the town center. A smiling, professional lady at the reception ready to help with everything. A clean and stylish room with a beautiful view of the old town and castle.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Loads of ants in the room - nothing was done to compensate us for this
9,2 Excellent
Pros: High ceilings, beautiful building, great breakfast
Cons: the room arrangement (bed in mezzanine)

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Special view from the room
Cons: A lttle crowdly outside during the night
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room is located in an old historical building in the centre of Bosa. It is really spacious, clean and comfortable, with a charming view
Cons: Unfortunately, since the room is located next to the main square, there was noise (especially dogs and garbage cleaning during most of the night)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely room with a cute little balcony overlooking a central square. Fuss free check in and lots of useful communication from the host. Excellent value for money, would definitely recommend.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very easy contact with the friendly host. Nice accomodation in the muddle of the old town part in a comfortable decorated room. Very enjoyable. Parking space directly at the opposite side of the appartment.
Cons: Got pretty loud during the evening/night because its located directly at the main piaza of the old town .
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It is placed in the old town and is very charming. There are lots of nice restaurants. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was quite clean.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The b&b is in a lovingly restored old house overlooking the old town's diminutive main square. The room was airy, very well appointed and very comfortable, ditto the bathroom (there was even a shower radio!). Although we got there well before check-in time, the owner was around in less than two minutes to let us in, with no fuss. Breakfast, as is usual in Italian b&bs and small hotels was the typical colazione of a croissant and a hot drink at the bar next door (which opens very early), but it also included a fruit juice or other cold drink.
Cons: We have nothing to complain about, but travellers with mobility difficulties should be aware that there is no lift and the most immediately accessible room itself is twelve or fifteen steep steps up a narrow staircase from ground level. That said, we are both in our seventies and we managed perfectly well.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It was on really city center and with great view to castle.
Cons: Our suite was on 4 floor and it was quite difficult with hudge luggage. REF did not work properly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location in the very centre was excellent and surprisingly quiet. Nearby parking just across the road was good value. The room was clean and comfortable but be prepared to climb two flights of stairs. Alene was delightful and helpful with places to go etc. Bosa is a delightful understated town, well worth a visit.
Cons: The shower was a bit small but I am over 6ft.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best B&B in Bosa! Everything was just perfect! The room was cosy and pretty, the location fantastic.

7,9 Good
Pros: The room was spacious & bathroom very comfortable
Cons: Mosquito annoyance- made night time sleep a bit of a problemo.. Also a bit noisy to be above the breakfast room.... very early to be woken up by voices preparing breakfast?
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the locations of the properties uniquely spread throughout the historic central district
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was located away from the reception area, but we (and our luggage) were taken on a electric cart, so no problem with the cobble stones. In the courtyard, just in front of our building was a lovely family run restaurant - highly recommended! Free street parking always a bonus.
Cons: No wifi in our room - not mentioned when we checked in.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location right on the river of this beautiful little town and a short cycle to the lovely beach of Bosa Marina. Our room and bathroom were large and spacious, peaceful and extremely clean. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and served in a little outdoor courtyard. There was space for us to store our bicyles in the downstairs hallway.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best location in Bosa, right on the river Temo! Anna and Marco and staff were warm, helpful and truly cared about our visit to stay with them. Great yummy breakfast too. The room overlooked the river and was so romantic, a perfect place to stay in every way. Bosa was so wonderful! We hope to return again and will tell our friends about your lovely spot!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent for its price, free umbrellas on the beach were a good surprise
Cons: Only disadvantage- walls are thin, so can be a bit noisy
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great spacious, room amazing view, balcony, fridge. A shop and small cheap bar just nearby. Nice staff.
Cons: After I checked in I was like why it has only 8.8 rating or so? It's just all great here! But well the bed was a bit strange, short and too soft. It was also quite hard (single traveler) to get attention of the waiters at breakfast. I don't also feel good when my towels are changed every day but that's my "ecologic" problem. A notice for the door "I don't neeed anything, thank you" would be useful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had two wonderful rooms with balcony and seaview
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff, room, parking, breakfast - everything was good. Night walking across the beach was amaizing... Strongly recomended for couples
6,3 Good
Cons: I booked the room with a view by paying extra money but no view. Disappointing. The rooms are totally different from the ones on the photos published. And the staff is lazy; although we were at the breakfast area at 9 am, nothing was left. All the tables were dirty, and the staff was wondering around and chatting instead of helping, cleaning and providing breakfast.

3,8 Mediocre
Cons: The staff speak only Italian, so it was very difficult to get along. The house rules were quite ridiculous (eg. the ban on loudly moving chairs). Air conditioning only in the main room. During the stay the air conditioning did not work so we had to sleep with the open windows. Very uncomfortable and creaky beds. Lots of mosquitoes (with the open windows even more). We did not feel welcome, the hosts were constantly watching us.
7,1 Good
Pros: Friendly owners and staff, Private beach, Parking, Fresh croissants for breakfast
Cons: Loud music from neighbouring restaurant every night from 6PM until like 2-3AM. We had to keep windows closed all night to be able to sleep.
7,1 Good
Pros: We stayed in the suite for 4 adults. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast, while rather simple, was nice, especially the croissants. All the problems we experienced throughout our stay (leaking toilet, no wifi) were timely fixed.
Cons: Based on the reviews I read before the travel, I expected a family resort with a calm beach. However, in my opinion the beach is quite busy, especially on the weekends, and there is a bar next to the aparthotel, where loud discoteques take place several times a week until early morning. I must also add that I would expect at least a basic knowledge of english from the stuff considering half of the visitors foreigners.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location to the Beach
4,2 Okay
Pros: The Clothes Line Fridge and small Kitchen. Car Parking ease.
Cons: Mosquitos, Having to beg for the air conditioner remote on a 30 degree day, The Beach is very average, Breakfast not worth attending, No couch in Room, The most uncomfortable bed in Sardinia

7,3 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, breakfast ok.
Cons: Non.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Very friendly personnel, good location. And to our surprise, the restaurant serves great food! Without a doubt one of the most wonderful dinners we had in Bosa - and the vegetarian risotto is yummie!
7,2 Good
Pros: Very nice hotel. A little hard to find but ask any local and they will give you directions. A 5-10 min walk from the centre. Spotless room and beside busy road but you hear no noise. Good breakfast.
Cons: Parking not the best but it is available - underground at the side of hotel. 10 spaces max. You'll fit 4-5 in driveway of hotel but be prepared to be blocked in,
6,4 Good
Pros: Hotel staff spoke good English. We stayed there for 3 nights to explore that part of Sardinia, and to see the Grifon Vultures.
Cons: The evening meals were poor both in quality and flavour. Guests should visit the hotel across the road for an evening meal where variety, quality and flavour is 100% superior. Hotel too far from the old town to walk in, in the heat!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful desk staff. Quiet but close to centre of Bosa and Marina, as stated on website. Good service at breakfast and cappucino available if you request them.

Pros: Cheap, clean, all we needed in the apartment...lovely view.

Pros: Beautiful location in the countryside but close to Bosa, such helpful hosts booking dinner and taxi for us, and delicious dinner and wine at the property.

Pros: Aldo is very nice and the breakfast was great!
Cons: One of the room is under the roof, so there are some wood joist ceiling that can be dangerous.

Pros: Peaceful location, great to relax. Breakfast with homemade jum, yoghurt and bread was the best we had in Sardinia. Hosts are very helpful in finding good places to explore!

Pros: Wow.. what an ambience! Really lovely and unique stay.
Cons: It was quite hot but on the other hand we left terrace door open so extra points for open air :)

Pros: Nice location near to the town 5 min drive Hosts welcoming on arrival Nice breakfast Sure it is nicer in the summer
Cons: Didn’t think it was great value for money Would be nice to have separate guest entrance to the house
