Loved the lazy river and the layout of the resort was easy to find everything. Private island was an added bonus.
We were treated like second class citizens at the spa. They asked us to move our appointments up to suite their staff and we did, while in the spa we did not receive the mimosa bar or free drinks that everyone else received and when asked about it the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and tried to make us feel bad. I also put a note on my appointment and my tech didn't even look at it. She cut my 80 apt by 15 mins and spent a large majority of the time at the sink behind me. The hotel also charges $16/day for parking which isn't mentioned anywhere.
The resort caters to water activities. Perfect for families with young children who need constant activity. Good variety of things to do.
Beach amenities need work. Problems with insects and algae.
The Room was very clean, bathroom was very clean and the restaurants were excellent.
My room was hot when I arrived. They sent somebody up to fix it, They said it was fixed and told me to wait for it to cool down, But they did not fix it so I had to ask them to send somebody else up Again and when he opened up the panel he said oh that’s what’s wrong and then he fixed whatever it was and it immediately started cooling down. I was very disappointed considering I paid $400 for one night and it took me 2 1/2 hours to get my room cool down for a birthday party for my grandson I do this every year I consider this unacceptable.
Maid service was awful. She didn’t do much beyond make the bed. Sad
Food is delicious . Staff are nice most of them.
Rooms really need a better AC during the night is was very hot . Also I called for a crib and I fall asleep and it was never deliver.
