We had a great time in Masaya Hostel. The place is very cozy, well organized and very clean. Staff is very nice and professional. Breakfast was great and one of the best during our trip through Columbia. Highly recommended.
The hostel was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruits everyday. We signed up for a cooking class where we had a lot of fun and ate good arepas!
Spacious familyroom, great breakfast and yummy margeritas
The gorgeous restauration of the beatiful house is done in wood making the very noisy (late night) arrivals and “getting home” moments of the other hostal guests very disturbing.
The ambiance is amazing. Staff is super nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel food is quite good and serves until late. Breakfast is vast. Beds and rooms are great. There's always something going on in the hostel with lots of people. Incredibly social hostel. Very well located. Excellent decoration and vibe. Sinks are perfect to fill up your bottle.
Sometimes bathrooms don't get clean as often as needed. Bathrooms are small (it's not very comfortable to seat on the toilet). Although I never had to wait, I believe there are little showers.
The description of the hostel's facilities was far from reality. Rooms and common areas were small. All restrooms and showers were not private. One of the rooms we had was full of cobwebs.
A stay at Masaya Hostel Bogotá places you in the heart of Bogotá, within a 15-minute walk of Plaza de Bolivar and Gold Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
