Our stay was fantastic. The room the was beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast delicious. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Excellent service, staff very attentive, excellent breakfasts, very clean. Loved to swim in their rooftop pool looking at the mountains.
Great supportive staff and location. Definitely worth the money.
Rooms a bit cold but the staff got me a heater right away.
It was very nice, until the last night.
Very nice rooms, awesome pool on the top floor. Great breakfast and nice service by most staff, actually 95% of them.
However, one big thing stuck out was the service at night. We have met locals around town the week before and we were not allowed to bring them in at night. Even thought,, the same locals were with us in our room during the day. The hotel staff claimed that it is a security risk and that it is not allowed for them to enter our rooms (unless they pay 60000 COP which is rediculous since they were going to be in our room for maybe another 20 minutes). The people we know were obviously not planning on staying that night with us nor were they prostitutes as they were thought off by the staff (in fact, they were two attorneys). The receptionist did not explaim himself clearly and was not very friendly. We met the manager the following day and explained ourselves and the situation which was conveyed to him by the night manager. He said that it was Colombian Law not to allow any visitors inside the hotels and that he was not aware that the people we met were with us in our rooms during the afternoon. He said at any time they were not allowed without paying and that the receptionist should have explained that. As far as the locals go, they felt very disrespected for being treated in a suspicious and rude way. I feel that the night staff was not friendly nor respectful and for that reason it is rated only 3 star. Such a shame for a nice hotel.
