Cons (-) Night 1, take my dog out at 4:30 AM only to find out door #7 is broke. When the auto lock engages for the night requiring a room key you cannot open the door from either inside or outside the building. The next morning I told the front desk about it. Pros (+) The amenities and the size of the room. Also, although it clearly has some years on it, the hotel is pretty decent looking and is pet friendly.
Cons (-) The front desk staff seems to be a little disengage and not really welcoming. Also, I got my rate on 20% discount and that put the nightly rate under $100, for the record, I would never pay over $100 for this hotel, it is not worth that amount of money. If they renovate a big part of the rooms and the hotel area, they probably might be able to charge more, but the current conditions are not for a ...

Pros (+) We stayed at the Ramkota because my daughter's dance convention was being held there. The kids enjoyed the pool area and the ballroom facilities were enough space for the convention. The location was great as we were right by the mall and restaurants. The Sunday brunch buffet was quite good.
Cons (-) The entire hotel needs a face lift. The bathroom grout was black and all of the carpet, paint and tile was old and worn. While the check in staff were great, the staff in the lounge were complaining about having to be there and made us feel like we were a burden for wanting to have a drink and watch a football game.
