Pros: Beautiful gardens and very peaceful relaxing place to be. Our son loved the big salt water pool. Our lake view room was spacious and stylish. Food was delicious. The staff and owners here are very friendly and helpful -they organised a tuk tuk to pick us up from the bus, a tuk tuk driver to take us to the bamboo train and later in the day to the temple and bat caves, and he was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. They also organised our transport to Phnom Penh. We enjoyed spending time in Battambang and relaxing in between st this gorgeous hotel.
Cons: Nothing at all!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was warm, kind, and helpful! They arranged for wonderful tour guides and transportation. Food was amazing! Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend Battambang Resort.

Pros: This hotel was a true hidden gem. If you are looking to switch off and relax its truly a blissful experience. Staff super friendly. The cocktails are amazing and miss them already. We ate all our meals here as the food was incredible and so fresh. Hotel arranged for tuk tuk driver to take us to bamboo train, killing caves and he was awesome. Spoke great English and very informative and only $15. We will 100% return to this hotel, even though it seems remote is really is not far away from everything. It really does feel like a relaxing retreat hotel. Really can't fault this hotel at all, just wished we had been able to stay longer than 2 nights.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lake Room was lovely and spacious
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great, food was great (ribs could be cooked longer though), staff was real nice and pool was great! Enough to do in the area when e.g using the bikes. Tours and transportation can be booked there. We recommend a stay here.
Cons: Garden was lovely. However, things could be tightened up a bit more. A round each days to pick up rotten leaves or some plastic would improve it even further.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The relaxing atmosphere, the food, the information about things to see and the organisation of a guide.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I loved that this was a little bit out of town, a little further than I thought but was easy to get a tuktuk to take you into town. The pool was lovely to have after going out sightseeing. Because there were so few guests the breakfast was a la cart which was fine as they let you choose pretty much what you wanted. I had dinner here too and the food was fine. The staff were fantastic and were happy to organise anything you needed. The receptionist bought my bus ticket and organised the trip to the bus station which I appreciated and they gave me a late check out to fit my travel time.
Cons: Not that I needed one, but on booking.com it said there was a flat screen TV and there was no television in my room. I was in Room 3.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great property if you’re wanting to relax and unwind away from the city. Pool is lovely and their are plenty of sun beds with shade. Ate lunch here twice and it was fantastic. The property where in touch before we arrived and informed us that they’d be refurbish their pool for 2 days of or stay. They offered to help us find us alternative accommodation if we didn’t want to stay and at no extra cost. They also organised a car for us at the best rate. Compared to other companies Free shuttle into town is great

10,0 Excellent

7,1 Good

Cons: expected larger grounds and countryside atmosphere but basically its a pleasant 3 star hotel on the outskirts of town
9,6 Excellent
Pros: After the 7h boattrip from Siem Raep to Battambang, which will be a challenge for some, the arrival at “maisons wat kor” was a real treat!! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful and the hotel with romantic garden is fabulous. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed having cocktails near the pond before having a very nice Khmer dinner with gardenview. We also did the “beyond the touristic road”tour with the hotel tuktuk driver. It was a very nice tour, lasting a whole day, where the driver showed us many local artcraft, temples and people making ricenoodles, ricepaper, ricewine and not to forget “sticky rice”!! However, we recommend not to go on a Sunday, as many of the artshops/-fabrics were not active. Although, we still could always enter and see the machinery they use to carve wood or weave scarves. Also, we would have liked a nice place for lunch during the tour. Now, we didn’t know what to expect and when we thought about asking the driver, it was actually a bit too late. All in all a very nice stay and we would love to come back and enjoy the hotel with romantic scenery.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great cocktail bar and a great restaurant.
Cons: Nothing to report.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful athmosphere because of the spacious Garden and the perfect staff in hotel and restaurant. Big and nicely decorated rooms. Small things make the difference. Very attentive Personal. They know what you desire even before you speak it out loud.
Cons: Always the problem in Cambodian Hotels: lighting in the bathroom unsufficiant.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great ambience, lovely setting.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nicely set up with beautiful garden and nice pool. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The owner was around and was making sure all works well. The rooms were comfortable.
Cons: There is a lack of proper parking which makes it difficult when you come with your own car. The restaurant was lovely but food selection was a bit limited especially when it comes to food for the little ones.

Pros: The attention to detail. There was even a hammock on my porch with a ceiling fan. Comfortable pillows and a fabulous big bathroom with hot water and water pressure.
6,0 Good
Cons: I think it was a little overpriced for what you got. I stayed in a room with no direct sunlight. Perhaps some of the other rooms were nicer.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely stay at the beautiful Bambu hotel. An oasis of calm within Battambang.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: A delightful oasis about a 15 minute walk from the center of Battambang. Lovely staff and good, reasonably priced food - happy hour was a bonus!

Pros: Everything was great

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The perfect place to take time out and relax during a hectic travel schedule - we liked it so much we extended and stayed an extra night. Excellent food, restaurant and bar on-site, with lovely chilled-out atmosphere. Staff were great, helpful and friendly - and the owner made us feel so welcome. We loved our stay here!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Bambu hotel feels a little like an Expat hangout with many European and Australian travellers spending time around the beautiful pool and enjoying drinks from the bar.
Cons: It was really hot and humid when we stayed here, it would have been nice to have some aircon in the main restaurant area.
Au Cabaret Vert - Battambang - Bedroom

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff and room
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Upon arrival the reception made us feel comfortable and gave us nice pineapple juice. Scenic view and friendly staff. I enjoyed having my own terrace to relax on. It was my fiancés 30th birthday and they assisted in getting me a cake on short notice. Delicious food and delivered to room. Great vibe and energy. There are alot fans to keep you cool in addition to the aircon, a stocked fridge and a hairdryer which you do not find at every place that you book in.
Cons: The fact that there was a natural swimming pool. I booked here because I saw a swimming pool and was not aware that it was a natural swimming pool. Natural swimming pool seems dirty and unclear. Looks like a pond.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the breakfast, all the food, and the amazing attention to detail in the decor. Everywhere we looked, there was thoughtful beauty.
Cons: I needed to be working over the weekend, and the internet just didn't come up to snuff. The weather was a bit unstable, so that may have contributed to the intermittence and weakness.
7,9 Good
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabaret vert. the hotel is splendid and the bungalow was beautiful and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit outside the city centre, which makes the hotel really calm and quiet.
Cons: We were surprised not be offered any drinkable water or at least not to be able to refill our bottles at a water fountain. Previous hotels we went to in Cambodia offered this service, which we very much appreciated as it was really hot! Also, we enjoyed the breakfast but wished there would be more variety. Basically, if one does not want to eat eggs or noodles, they will have to pay an extra.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property; friendly/helpful owner and staff; great breakfast.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and clean. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job and the breakfast had a lot of options. The room was quiet and the pool lovely. I love the location and found this was one of the best options within it's price range. This is a great spot for business.
Cons: There is not a room safe and if you get a fridge you need to leave your key in the room to keep the power on and be let in by the front desk. It is also cash only payment, so be prepared with enough cash.
6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast(from 6pm at GF) is Buffet and I can eat many kinds of food like rice, bread and so on. The location is also good to go to the river and the center of the city. The pool is also nice except too much ancestor.
Cons: I was told by the receptionist that the pool is open from 7am till 20pm so went to the pool at 1pm but the staff said that they were cleaning so I cannot use the pool 1 hour but I didn't have time so came there again just 2pm then they said not yet.
7,9 Good
Pros: It's view from the 5th room was so nice rather than in Siem Reap hotels.
Cons: unfortunately it was not able to use internet from the room. This was the only problem for this stay. I stayed on the 5th floor.
6,3 Good
Pros: When we complained about construction work outside our roo they moved us immediately, well done.
Cons: Very impersonal, not the usual cheery staff, pretty average breakfast, no minimum/ low setting on air con They leave rooms open so there were bugs in the room, the infrastructure looks as if it was cracking. Very noisy corridors. No tourist info.
6,3 Good
Pros: hotel staffs are very kind good location to go somewhere
Cons: coffee of breakfast was overcooked breakfast menu was like rural Chinese hotel

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Well priced. Very convenient to bus transport. Large room.
Cons: A bit dated and dusty.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. Clean, everything worked. No breakfast, but the cafe just across the road did good breakfasts.
7,9 Good
Pros: the rooms are spacey and clean, there is everything you really need. value for money is great.
Cons: personal attention was next to inexistent. one night there was a lot of noise between 4 and 5 am. (usually it‘s quiet)
6,3 Good
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff had no knowledge and basic English. They used the internet data to play games which left it slow.
6,3 Good
Pros: We enjoyed our stay there as the staff are really nice, the boys in the reception were really helpful and organized a taxi for us and gave us directions as where to go for lunch or dinner. The hotel has no restaurant so no breakfast available. Good value for the price
Cons: No restaurant and hot, no AC in the reception area where they have seats to rest or have a chat. No lift and the stairs are a bit dangerous
4,0 Okay
Pros: The price is the only one plus point.
Cons: - Noisy, there was a constant engine noise from outside. - Staff at the reception barely speaks basic English. - One of the bed was missing a sheet. - The A/C stopped working due to a problem with the remote control - Beds are not comfortable at all, super hard. Caused back pains to two people not sleeping in the same bed
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was soft and the room big. I guess for 15$ a night the price was still okay, even if not great value.
Cons: The room was very dusty! Some of the bathroom facilities (e.g. bidee, shower head...) were mouldy. The staff wasn't very helpful: they didn't welcome us, didn't show us the room or told us where it was (just handed us the key) and didn't give us any further information.

6,0 Good
Pros: Good location.
Cons: The noise from the restaurant nearby.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Hotel is very old and needs to be renovated. Very noisy surroundings every night. Read about it in other reviews but didn’t pay attention to it but even in the top floor noise from karaoke bar is unbearable every evening. Staff very formal, not a sign of friendliness. Swimming pool included in the description and photos but it was closed and also needs to be renovated. We had booking for two days but left after the first one.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The position of the property was good. Reasonable walking distance to the town centre. The basic structure of the hotel is great. All in all we did enjoy our stay here.
Cons: There was a problem with the lift that we understood would be only a few days out for repair but it turned out to be a week or more. The service in the hotel is poor. The people in the staff are great but the management of the hotel need to take responsibility for the staff and train them in what is expected from western visitors. There is language difficulties as well but these should easily be overcome. To my way of thinking the hotel is running down when it would not be great expense to get it into very good shape with in a reasonable amount of time and a very reasonable cost to the owners. All in all we did enjoy our stay here.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The whole room, including bathroom, is clean and the wifi connection is good. What I love the most is that the balcony faces the river which is quite refreshing and does not make me feel stuffy at all. The hotel is located in the city center which is so convenient and if you are travelling from Phnom Penh, you may ask the driver to drop you near the bridge which is only about 850 m to the hotel. You do not need to cross the bridge or ride until you reach the transportation company at all because most those companies are located at least 1.5 km from the hotel.
Cons: The pool area is quite old and not very clean and the male staff does not really friendly. The sky bar is quite crowded sometimes and most of the customers there are not staying at this hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice few from the balcony on the river side. The room was as per picture. The breakfast was simple but with choices. The staff was efficient and friendly.
Cons: We could hear the next door building music over the night, though it did not bother us that much.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The noise from the bar is quite loud, so bring ear plugs, and there are kettles in the rooms, but no coffee or teabags which was weird, but the staff are the friendliest you will meet, the cafe that is attached is great, and the rooftop was a nice place to view the city from. Would stay here again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was ok , the staff was friendly, and a good breakfast was a available . Situated in a good place fairly close to everything , with a nice river few from the room .
Cons: The elevator was a bit slow .

Pros: Friendly, helpful owners and staff!! Nice breakfast that you can enjoy on the balcony. Fantastic location Welcoming and fun atmosphere. Had nice chats with the the staff and owners.
Cons: A little bit noisy at night when trying to sleep but not a big deal.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts.Good location. Extremely comfortable beds. Exquisite breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our host Morrison & Robert were fun and quite knowledgeable about the area. Lovely ,warm, and very welcoming! Staff is attentive and made sure we were well cared for.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super cute boutique B&B run by two very chatty and interesting chaps. Their young cambodian staff also love to chat and look after you really well. Its a 5 minute walk from the river and great street food stalls ( who really do the tastiest food, we had our best meals from stalls and from cheap riverside eateries across all of Cambodia). Morrison (one of the owners) walked us to have a lunch of noodles and spring rolls from a local woman who has a stall on the next road and it was delicious and less than $1! The rooms are decorated with antiques and colonial style artifacts. There is air con and a fan, free water fountain to re-fill bottles and breakfast to your room or on the balcony. I asked for a fruit salad for breakfast instead of the baguette they normally bring and they outdid themselves with an amazing array of locally sourced Cambodian fruits which was utterly delicious. Morrison Arranged his favourite tuk tuk driver for us for a day trip around the sights of Battambang and it was brilliant, he knew so much about the place and took us to see things we would never have seen left to our own devices. I would highly recommend a stay here and a couple of days in Battambang.
Cons: Being picky....Air con could have been a bit colder - ours seemed to struggle a bit. Less carbs for breakfast, but that's just a personal preference.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Morrison and Robert made us feel like part of the family.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely love it. What Robert and Morrison have created is a gem in the middle of Cambodia. It is not the place or location (which are great) but it is the service, the genuine and warm touches that make the difference. The Cambodian guys are super friendly and they make you feel part of the family after 2 days. We will try and go back! Could not think anywhere else to stay in Battambang. Thank you! Special thanks to Sarun and Mr Ratha, superstars!

Pros: Staff very friendly and welcoming

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Owners were very friendly, helpful and a lot of fun. The staff were all lovely. The Bric a Brac exceeded our expectations, we will definitely recommend this establishment to everyone.
Cons: We loved it. There was nothing we did not like.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: More than just an ordinary hotel and a home away. Morrison, Rob and their team are genuinely wanting to give you the best moment ever. All I can say is that it was a magical stay for me. The people I met, and the stories I heard. If you need to know, the hotel is quaintly styled with uniqueness by the owners who love life, art and food. If you insist then yes it’s well equipped. It was a melting pot for sundowners even after I checked out. I hope everyone will find it just as magical as I did.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky, different, fun. Genial staff offering ever helpful, intimate service. Great wine and cheeses. Humour, creativity and artistry abound. A very memorable stay for us. Mr Tah, the Tuk Tuk driver was superb. He took us to places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise using his local knowledge. With good English he told us his stories of local and history offering personal insights and perspectives... We found Battambang a quieter place to visit and our boat trip to Siem Reap was a relaxing, highly enjoyable day with Visal.

Pros: Bambu hotel feels a little like an Expat hangout with many European and Australian travellers spending time around the beautiful pool and enjoying drinks from the bar.
Cons: It was really hot and humid when we stayed here, it would have been nice to have some aircon in the main restaurant area.
