Pros: All of it, the position, the villa was exceptional....the beach opposite was my favourite on the island 2nd was the boatyard) the staff are incredible, the gardens beautifully maintained.highly recommend
Cons: Everything was amazing
Pros: Very clean hotel, spacious room, three pools so they are not crowded. Food in the restaurant was pretty good. The location is good, near restaurants and lovely beaches.
Cons: Food was a bit overpriced in the restaurant and portions were small. Location is good near beaches and restaurants, but note this is not a beach front hotel so you have to cross the road to get to the beach. Streets are not well illuminated so we didn’t feel 100% safe going out for dinner at night, therefore we decided to have dinner in the hotel.
Pros: I did not get the croissant but the bed was very comfy and I slept and slept .it was a short trip but hope to go back soon
Cons: Everything form the security to sleep on the bed love it
Pros: Great location, staff friendly, accommodation is excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: Facilities are great. Clean and tidy. Lovely pool area and very close to the beach.
Pros: The suit was well equipped. Beds very comfortable, everything very clean. Amazing food in the restaurant.
Cons: An invite to the evening drinks at the managers home would have been much appreciated. Lots of guests had recommended to go the day before, Thursday came and went with no invite. Maybe because we were only staying 2 nights perhaps? Apart from that we received great service all round.
Pros: Clean large room
Cons: No beach access and next to a large busy and polluted road. Overpriced.
Pros: Rooms and grounds so well maintained and clean. Great staff

Pros: Staff! Made me feel so loved and relaxed.
Cons: The sand was washed away so laying on the beach wasn’t possible. Pool is too small.
Pros: From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The staff could not have been more accommodating, the location is perfect and our fellow guests all seemed to be totally chilled out. We loved it.
Cons: The restaurant facilities concentrate on high end catering but there are enough options close by that it was not a problem.
Pros: Great breakfasts with champagne flowing for the whole time.....
Cons: Underwhelming reception for a returning guest...
Pros: The location and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The friendly staff and the way you are made to feel special.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Maxwell? Pros: Bougainvillea was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for. Excellent, friendly staff. Great location. Pool facilities were amazing and right on the beach. We will definitely be staying again
Pros: Help from reception staff in organising events, the well equipped gym, location, location, location beautiful beach!
Cons: Needed more staff at pool side bar and at breakfast, service slow and staff had no time to talk to guests.
Pros: The pool bar and giant chess!
Cons: The availability of early checkin or late check out would be nice. Our bags were left out in the open too once we arrived which was discomforting
Pros: Eric from Watersports went above and beyond.
Cons: Sandles resort is next to us and so big it blocks you from getting to the gap easily.
Pros: The hotel is beachfront, nicely laid out, comfy, clean.
Cons: It does not protect the guests from taxi overcharging - the only country I've been to (and I've been to many) where taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is cheaper than from the hotel to the airport!! Taxi overall is expensive, and there are no cheaper alternatives for families.
Ocean waves were all the time too choppy to swim.
Hotel could use renovation.
Pros: The rooms are big, very clean. The outlook from the balcony is so breathtaking.... The facilities here is one of the best of the island...The food was great...
Cons: Breakfast collection tray was not collected in a timely fashion when we finished our meals.... However the staff was superb irregardless...
Pros: The whole complex. Rooms were great. We had our two year old with us and they had added small things like a baby bath (even though we didn't use it) and a diaper bin. The view from our balcony was to die for. Loved the beach. Friendly staff and the all around vibe of the place. Also must mention how quickly and correctly a small issue was dealt with. Everything helped us enjoy a wonderful holiday.
Cons: The Coffee in the restaurant. But thats me having to find a fault :)
Pros: The rain shower was awesome. Our room location was perfect, on the main level right by the pool. Loved the private lanai. Room was very spacious & the bed & bedding were very comfortable. Celebrated my birthday there & the staff placed balloons & a bottle of rum punch as a surprise gift from them. I was very impressed with their caring! The pool bar was great. We liked the happy hour prices.
Cons: We ate at both restaurants while there. The Thai restaurant was very enjoyable. Good food & right by the beach made for a perfect location. Service was good. Our first night at the other restaurant was not impressive. The wait to be served our entree was over an hour. When we received it the portion was very inadequate. We were still hungry after eating our meal which never happens to us.
Cons: That you couldn’t get food outside of breakfast, lunch and dinner hours
Cons: There are no elevators so those on higher floors had some exercise before reaching up. This would be difficult for elderly and physically challenged people
Pros: Nice beach and area
Pros: An amazing hotel with super helpful staff and great sea front location
Cons: More food variety would be good. Bfast is pretty expensive but supermarket close by

Pros: Personal was very nice. They would help you out if you had a problem. We enjoyed the week here.
Cons: I like the time here. Would go back .
Pros: This is the place for discerning travellers. It has the best of everything and so far seems to be a well kept secret. It’s right on a little section of beautiful beach where you can take one of the properties sun loungers and pick your spot for the day. All free and exclusive. Fabulous surf beach with surf school next door but one. Security is superb even though no sign of it being needed. Everyone is friendly and welcoming with a great night at Scoopies jazz bar to be had if you like live music within walking distance. Cyrus gave us all the help and advice we needed right from the point of booking. Cannot recommend WSB highly enough!
Cons: Going home!
Pros: We were given a tour of facilities at check in. The unit had 2 full bathrooms and a pull out bed in the front room. Central A/C and extremely clean and modern. Laundry facilities inside the room for easy access. The beach at rear was spectacular saw turtles swimming.
Cons: Pool was too cold (April) however property on the beach so we went on the beach which was even better. Next door had a cash bar for easy access to drinks. Parking was tight but doable.
Pros: Cyrus was awesome. Friendly, proactive and responsive.
Pros: very comfortable apartment directly on beach easy walking distance to St Lawrence gap (lots restaurants) large balcony great ocean view
Pros: The condo is well maintained and well appointed. The staff is responsive and professional. I was ill during my stay and couldn't have been in a better location to rest.
Cons: The beach was inaccessible during our visit. Not the fault of the condo-but still disappointing.
Pros: Location. Convenient for St Lawrence Gap entertainments. Cyrus was an excellent host !!
Cons: A bit hot but ac cooled it down.
Pros: This place is fabulous. It really feels like home. The staff treats you like family. My bajan family visited and did not want to leave. I had an exceptional stay!

Cons: Pilows could be softer Food could improve
Pros: The staff and location.
Pros: Loved the location, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were extremely helpful and accommodating with great suggestions on where to eat and what to do around the island. Very quiet and peaceful perfect for a relaxing quiet refresh before travelling back to UK. The hotel even provided me late checkout as I had a late evening flight. There is also a downstairs shower and changing room so I was snake to freshen up before my flight. :-) really appreciated that!
Cons: My stay was absolutely perfect. Only thing I would say is be prepared for the mosquitoes but that’s everywhere on the island. Also the restaurant could do with some vegan options.
Pros: The overall experience.
Cons: The elevator
Pros: Love the overall quietness and efficiency of staff. I asked to get prices for Harrison cave and Atlantis and it was done in timely fashion . Also it was my daughter's birthday and one of the staff members recommended The Boatyard. That was ideal. My daughter totally enjoyed this trip. I totally recommend this hotel
Pros: I did not eat at the property
Cons: Beach chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach. You had to carry your own chair and no umbrellas were available.
Pros: Lovely location on the beach. Excellent breakfasts.
Pros: Excellent location right on the white sandy beach. Very large studio room with balcony. It was lovely going to sleep with the sound of the waves gently washing ashore. Only a short taxi ride to / from the airport too.
Cons: Pity the restaurant appeared open but not popular with the guests.
This family-friendly Holetown property is within 1 mi (2 km) of Holetown Beach and Sandy Lane Beach. Paynes Bay Beach is 1.4 mi (2.3 km) away.
Pros: Staff were incredibly friendly and hotel in good location
Cons: Rooms damp and not very clean. Had to move because first room offered on ground floor was so damp. Decor and furniture very old, bathrooms not nice and generally all internal areas in need of upgrading and refurbishment. Food not great and probably one of the worse breakfasts I have ever eaten at a hotel.
Pros: The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly
Cons: Bed and pillows uncomfortable. AC made too much noise.
Pros: Nothing at all apart from the location.
Cons: nothing apart from the location. very disappointing. I am well travelled and would not recommend this hotel. iIt is very tired and in need of total refurbishment. Dining room staff very poorly trained. Service extremely poor. Food very disappointing - Don't stay here.
Boasting the ultimate location on the Platinum coast of the island, Fairmont Royal Pavilion, is setting new standards of ultra-luxury in the Carribean and beyond, retaining a sense of serene seclusion with a unique beachfront position unlike any other resorts on the island. A multi-million dollar renovation at Fairmont Royal Pavilion has dramatically changed the hotel's guest rooms and raised the bar for luxury hospitality in Barbados.
Pros: Execelent service, good food, problem solvers, great facilities, one of the best hotels I've gone too in terms of service and commitment to the guest's experience. Will love to go back with my family. Very happy with our stay.
Pros: Staff and service is excellent. V friendly.
Cons: Not sure about the Butler service , when booking the rooms on the top. Is it really necessary.
Cons: Use of personal condiments over after someone else had already used it. Appalling.
Cons: Admin before arrival proved tricky. Mix up with booking and payment led to excessive number of emails between vendor and hotel and myself.
Pros: The food was all fresh, best I have ever eaten. The staff made us feel so at home. The grounds were surrounded by a tropical garden with tall palm trees. The place was impeccably clean. All restaurants and the bar were open air right beside the beach. We had a view of the beautiful Caribbean ocean the entire time. We will definitely stay there again when we return soon.
Cons: Nothing the best vacation I have ever had, and it was the first time that I travelled out of the United,States
Pros: It had a nice beach and our villa was very comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast room is very tired and needs a complete renovation.
Located in Oistins, this beachfront property is in the entertainment district and within 1 mi (2 km) of Windward Islands and Miami Beach. Dover Beach and Worthing Beach are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: The room is ok.
Cons: Completely poor service. Nobody cares about any of your requests. The transfer was supposed to be organized by hotel but nobody came - and no excuses at all. Main restaurant is awful. Sea view room in fact was a pool and roof view, and very little of the sea. Had to ask for making-up the room for three times. Lots of disappointment. We left this hotel 2 nights earlier, and spoke to a manager asking for refund - no reaction. We even didn't receive a final statement. The location is not really great - lots of waves and windy.
Pros: Super friendly staff. High quality. Everything was tip top. Intend to return.
Cons: Board games not readily available. Crisps, nuts, olives etc to have with the excellent all inclusive drinks would have been very well received
Pros: The beach is one of the best I've ever seen. The views are incredible. Great location. Food not bad at all for an all inclusive - something we loved everyday. We would come back.
Cons: All the restaurant staff were amazing but the reception staff have a lot to live up to. Very slow. I asked for towels 5 times before I got it. We booked trips but no one told us when we were departing (despite asking 3 times!) No one knew anything. I found a few of them a bit rude. That said, everyone else was a delight. Very friendly.
Pros: I really enjoyed the size of the rooms and the fact that you can have 2 rooms communicating together. We were a family of 7 and it was perfect. The rooms and facilities were always clean and well maintained. There were some great events at the small bar of the hotel with great people teaching us about Barbados. Shawn from guest services was extremely great at booking us the right excursions. The location of the hotel and proximity of the beach was fantastic. We were very happy about the 'smaller' type of hotel/resort, with 3 pools and direct access to the beach. Finally we met some great people from multiple different countries and made some new friends.
Cons: It felt as though not all of the staff at the hotel is happy to be working in the service industry. When you choose a hotel you are looking for the best experience that will make you want to go back but not all of the staff felt as though this was their mission or values. From a cuisine perspective, both a la carte restaurant need better quality and better variety. Breakfast were great but dinner options were limited and not tasty. We ended eating out on multiple nights which makes a trip more expensive when you pay for all inclusive. There are some quite good restaurants on the island so hotels need to follow as well.
Pros: The beach was amazing!
Cons: The restaurants and the food served was not very good. It was quite annoying having to book a table every night and not being able to eat whenever we wanted to.
Pros: Overall, we all loved our 5 night stay here at Sea Breeze Hotel. The resort isn't super large or populated, so it has a nice intimate feel to it overall, and you quickly get to know the lovely staff and other visitors. The beach is very nice, with good chairs, and is right in front of the hotel. They served us drinks us on the beach which was a first for us. We spent most of our time their. The rooms we stayed in were recently renovated (or it was a new building), so we were very happy with their quality. Pretty much all of the food was spectacular too.
Cons: My partner and I, and another couple, were traveling together. So when booking, instead of getting 2 separate individual rooms, we saw that we could save some money by getting a shared room that had 2 separate bedrooms each having a large bed in each (and we didn't mind sharing a bathroom and living area so this made sense for us). That is how the room is listed on book.com. But when we arrived, we were not happy to see that one of the rooms had 2 single beds in it. This was a very difficult problem to resolve, because the on site management could not provide us with the room that we had booked through this site. At first they actually challenged me, and asked me to provide proof of the room that I booked. Luckily me being the paranoid person that I am - I had proof. I also even took the initiative to add a special request in the booking that we were 2 couples who each wanted a room with a single large bed because I had read other reviews where people did not get the room that they thought they booked - which didn't matter. Since we arrived at 7 pm, and nobody on site has any power to change anything, we had to wait until 8 a.m. the next morning until their central office was open to get it resolved. So for the first night my partner and I slept in two single beds quite reluctantly. It turns our after some very hard debating (I'm a very stubborn person, and I felt wronged by this, and I wasn't going to settle until they accommodated to our needs), we learned t problem is this sort of room configuration does NOT EXIST at all, which we found out the next day when the marketing manager came on site. Aka they are false advertising on book.com, so be careful what you book. I am happy to say though that eventually they did resolve our issue, and ended up giving us two separate rooms that were conjoined - which I greatly appreciate.
Pros: Accommodation was modern and brightly decorated after a recent refurbishment. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent location and beach lovely.
Located in Oistins, Butterfly Beach Hotel is by the sea, within a 5-minute drive of Miami Beach and Rockley Beach. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Had two different pools to cater for over flows of users and the staff were very nice and friendly. The facility and experience is definitely worth every money paid.
Cons: proximity to source of food and other conveniences is not the very best although the walk up to buy stuffs wasn't bad when the sun is down
Pros: Breakfast was overpriced - opted for making breakfast in the well equipped room instead. Location was good
Cons: We expected a balcony but instead got a room facing the main road with french windows which was very noisy at times. We didn't complain just made the most of our time spent on the beautiful Island.
Pros: The manager and interact well.
Cons: May a bit more entertainment and some music around the bar area that you can hear.very enjoyable
Pros: Basic hotel, with comfy beds and lovely view. Good for a relaxing break if you do not want much to do. The only person on the front desk that was worth talking to was Ryan. Lady in the shop is brilliant and gives you loads of information.
Cons: Very noisy, dogs barking from next door property, lots of road noise. Unfortunately when we were there so where a netball team from a school who were also noisy. Staff were not very friendly unless you were a regular, then they seemed to welcome you like a family member. Basic hotel with comfortable beds. Not sure why everyone raves about it, they obviously don’t stay in better hotels. Small beach. Terrible service in the restaurant.
Pros: Beautiful beach in front of the hotel, nice room
Cons: Very disappointed with food. Really can't remember eating worse breakfast anywhere in a long time. The quality of the food overall is very low.
Pros: Proximity to the beach is optimal, the service staff is amazing and breakfast is lovely. The ocean view studio is very cute and comes with a stove, plates and cutlery if one is interested in cooking for oneself. This was a pleasant surprise.
Cons: The pool is not the biggest, and after having stayed at Accra Beach Hotel it was just basic but this is not a deal killer. The beach that the hotel occupies is not the the calmest but this is the south coast of the island and that's what you get. The walls are a bit thin and some adjoining rooms might have guests that are sticklers for quiet and your noisy child might drive them crazy :) Other than those minor things, they're really no downsides to this hotel.
Pros: Very friendly had accommodating staff
Pros: Staff were ok, beds were comfy and rooms cleaned daily.
Cons: Seaweed smell was really strong, no direct access to the beach, photos are misleading. Breaks fast choice is poor, and no room service. No laundry facility other token was your own. Dinner options poor as we are pescatarians. Oistins was a walking distance but over rated.
Nestled on the beach, this Holetown property is within a 5-minute walk of Windward Islands and Sandy Lane Beach. Paynes Bay Beach is 0.7 mi (1.1 km) away.
Pros: The location and nearby beaches
Cons: Beds were quite hard for our liking. Evening dinner reservation system was a pain
Pros: The food... just amazing choices and quality!.. Enids is such a beautiful restaurant with excellent food!
Cons: Only stayed 3 nights.... given the location, food and things to do... at least week stay would be best!
Pros: The food was good. The location was good. The hotel upgraded our room to a sea view which was very nice of them, a pleasant surprise.
Cons: The staff has a generally BAD attitude. Don't expect a smile or any courtesy from the staff. Oh a few of the older staff members were pleasant but the young team members had a real bad attitude. The place does not have a beach on site, a big disappointment. This wasn't entirely clear in the description. They need to improve the follow up cleaning around the poolside and heavier guest centric gathering spots. We usually cleared tables, emptied the ashtray, removed towels, etc in these places because service was slow/non-existent. Keep your expectations low , get a rock bottom bargain price and you my feel you got your money's worth.
Pros: Food was very good and value for money. The rooms are very nice with big showers and lots of hot water. Well maintained gardens and clean pool.
Cons: The pillows were very uncomfortable and hard. Very poor WiFi and the deck chairs too squashed together by the beach wall. There is no real beach. Dirty deckchairs. And Enid’s the supposedly better restaurant was very poor and not as described.
Pros: Breakfast was awsome and location was great staff wer really friendly and helpfull.Beautifull at night with the pool lights and the almond and banana trees wer nice
When you stay at Plum Tree Club in Rockley, you'll be near the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Dover Beach and Worthing Beach. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The water in the pool was warm and relaxing
Cons: The room could have been a bit cooler
Pros: The location very central minutes from the beach shopping and town. Staff excellent very helpful especially Kirsteen and Andrew. All staff work very hard and keep the place pristine clean and the gardens beautiful
Pros: Calm location, security service. overall cleanliness of the place is good. housekeeping in alternate days.
Cons: laundry service payable and it is not programmed for fine cleaning and drying. My load was not washed properly and drier didn't dry it properly.
Pros: The apartments are lovely, they have a handy shuttle and the information provided on your arrival is very handy. All the staff where helpful and the had all the necessary advice. The pool is a godsend on those really hot days. A quiet place, but close to everything.
Cons: Downside alot of ants, which the insect spray came in handy for.
Cons: Kitchen appliances upgrades - blender for pina coladas, rice cooker, etc. wash cloths, and not hand towels only, in bathroom for taking showers.
Pros: Plum Tree is a great resort! The staff are friendly and professional! The atmosphere is lovely and this resort is a great place to stay while in Barbados. A short walk to a large grocery store, shopping, and the beach!
Cons: The ac was only in the room and was on a motion detecting system so while sleeping it kept cutting off.

Pros: The staff was very courteous. Quiet and peaceful place
Cons: There should be at least a double bed for couples instead of 2 twin beds
Pros: Nice place but the wifi was awful. With international travelers needing to connect this must be improved.
Cons: Wifi was awful
Pros: I love that it located in St Lawerence Gap close to beaches and shops with lots of entertainment spots
Cons: There is nothing I did not like about the place
Pros: Was clean and well kept. Housekeeping came daily. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was superb. Overall experience was a good one
Cons: I would have liked if there was a fan in the room. The pillows could have been more comfortable
Cons: Air conditioners need to be serviced. It would save you electric, extend the life and increase guest comfort
Pros: Liked my view of the pool area, and the surrounding.
Pros: location was great, service was good
Cons: first night was not comfortable but was taken care of the following day
Pros: The family setting beautiful
Cons: They is nothing to complain about I like everything just manef
Nestled on the beach, this Maxwell property is within a 5-minute walk of Windward Islands and Dover Beach. Worthing Beach and Rockley Beach are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: v good service staff friendly and very helpful food in a la carte vv good
Cons: buffetfood not well presented
Pros: Beautiful beachfront suites with well kept properties and pools.
Pros: Beach was good, and water sport team helpful.
Cons: Staff mostly unhappy, bar staff absolutely hopeless
Pros: Meeting family members from different sides of the world
Cons: Old outdated very poor wifi Needs a massive over haul Be careful when paying this hotel over charged us in excess of 220 US dollars.they didn’t accept that over charges were made I suggest you pay your account in cash US dollars.they will charge you bds $ then convert into US dollars to totally benefit them selves even though we had a quoted price for the holiday.
Pros: Location was good, but I'd like to try Midwest next time cause I hear the water is calmer.the resort is beautiful and clean but the rooms should be larger and not have an A.C. directly above a bed. Mom got very sick there which caused a huge damper on vacation.
Cons: A larger room with A.C. not directly above the bed.
Pros: We stayed at this hotel with our 3 month old daughter. It was our first trip abroad with her, and we had a fantastic week. The hotel and beach are beautiful. The food and drink is wonderful. The staff are all absolutely lovely. Everyone was so very warm and welcoming. We were very grateful for all the kindness.
When you stay at Divi Southwinds Beach Resort in St. Lawrence Gap, you'll be in a shopping district, within a 15-minute walk of Dover Beach and Worthing Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. This resort has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff excellent, especially Heather. Good setting and very nice beach. Rooms comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Our room overlooked the car park and road. Just a little noise from the road early evening. Would go for a room overlooking the pool next time.
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable
Cons: No microwave. Shower door could not be kept closed, all of the water was coming out on the bathroom floor. Telephone in the room not working. The door was squeaking every time opened. The kitchen garbage receptacle under the stove was too tall.
Pros: Good location on beach and not far from both Bridgetown and airport.
Pros: The location of the hotel and the area we stayed in was lovely. The gardens of the hotel were nicely kept
Cons: There were a number of problems. Main disappointment was that the main pool bar was closed for renovation. In fairness drinks were available some of time (not always though) in the activities shop by pool. However our enjoyment of the pool diminished by noise from sanding machines, drilling and hammering. We were never informed of this prior to our arrival. All we got from management at hotel was a short "sorry" - no offer of compensation. Also going on at same time was painting of communal areas which included our corridor so on a few occasions when leaving our room we were greeted with strong smell of paint. Housekeeping was very hit and miss. On a couple of occasions our room wasn't made up and we had to complain. Also floor tiling in corridors was not kept cleaned. On one occasion returned from day out to find housekeeper had left our room door open. Water pressure in the shower was only just about adequate. Hot water in bathroom sink even when on full just about reached luke warm. Internet connection very poor in our room. A minor annoyance only was lack of any guide for TV channels either on the remotes or by way of a separate list. When we asked at reception for one told they could not supply one.
Pros: The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The many return guests add to the “family†feeling which makes you want to come back. Free internet and a lovely beach. I enjoyed the beach restaurant and the happy hour was not to be missed.
Cons: Although the room was recently upgraded there were several poorly designed features, bathroom taps that were not out far enough to get your hands under, a fridge with the wrong swing door so you couldn’t reach inside. Awful chairs for deck uncomfor
Pros: It is located beach near and there are small shops and restaurants in the area
Cons: This hotel is in need of a major refurbish and overall clean up and maintenance and paint. Our view from our room was the dumpster. Staff could not find our reservation even though it was booked day before. $--- per night-/ old pictures and info on hotel
Pros: The location was good to walk to the strip called St Lawrence Gap which has local bars and restaurants.
Cons: The shower pressure was low.
Pros: The friendly atmosphere. The food. The manager's appreciation event.
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Cons: None at all.
Pros: Location! Hotel needs & is working on updating. Main section of hotel is NOT beachfront. Main section -get pool view OR get "beach villa", its across a road by restaurant on beach. All room have full kitchen
Cons: 3 star is accurate, I have no dislikes, we have to remember that most of our time is not inside
Pros: Close amenities
Cons: Elevator out of service and we were put on the 5th floor. Wifi was worse than dial up. Food was expensive at the restuarant. I don't plan on going there ever again.
Pros: It was all n a good location. Beach front.
Cons: Possibly due for an update, but it was fine.
Dover Beach Hotel is a 59 room, three-star, award-winning hotel, and is enviably positioned on one of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast of Barbados. Opened in 1977, the hotel is situated in a quiet terrace just a short walk away from the lively and popular St. Lawrence Gap. The Gap is internationally famous for its wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, banks and salons, and provides additional value to our guests.
Pros: Great beach.. Very friendly staff.
Pros: Not directly on the "Gap"
Cons: Didn't have any dislikes
Pros: The location was great
Cons: There was no oven to cook food which was difficult as it was self catering, there was no space in bathroom to use toilet properly. The cleaning was very poor, underneath the beds were full of dust and the bathrooms were not cleaned properly. Some cleaning staff were very very slow, one took nearly two hours. There was damp on the bedroom wall. The WiFi was terrible, the bathroom window wouldn’t close, the balcony door broke twice. The ignition on cooker didn’t work so matches were provided. The metal frame of bed cut a guests leg. The tv didn’t work for a few days. There was no night life at hotel. The fridge in one room nearly fell out as it wasn’t stable. Tap in bathroom sink was constantly running. No smoking allowed on balconies.
Pros: Cheap, in St Lawrence Gap, walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Staff was very friendly
Cons: pool was small compared to pictures, Beach chairs could do with some cleaning. No night time activities.
Pros: The location is wonderful adjacent to the sea. Staff were very friendly and polite. The location was very close the local night entertainment
Cons: Property has no generator. Current went off several times and there were no windows in the room only sliding door which is not secure to leave open at night. The bathroom toilet was constantly blocked and there were no one in the night to fix therefore i had to endure the sent until morning until maintenance arrived.

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff was good at what they did. They were helpful. Housekeeping was good. Food was good. Location was also good but too much construction in the area.
Cons: However we did have a few problems with the rooms. They were too small and the bathroom in the hallway was very difficult to maneuver around. Some issues with the phone and stove. Some essential things were missing such as dish rag, paper towel. Pool looked a little dirty.
This 3 acre property is ideally located on a pristine sandy beach on the lively South Coast of Barbados. All rooms offer panoramic views of the island, pool or ocean. The center-piece of the lush gardens is a large swimming pool complete with swim-up bar for icy cold refreshments or guests can enjoy cocktails in the air conditioned comfort of the Sand Bar. The resort has also opened its very own Spa CHAKRA. Chakra Spa is a haven for relaxation, rejuvenation and healing. The spa offers a variety of body massage treatments, as well as manicures and pedicures.
Pros: The location was convenient to all of the popular sites.
Cons: The hotel was a bit dated and the staff was not very friendly.
Pros: Closeness to the ocean and restaurants as well as the limited activity on the beach
Cons: Didn’t always give us our towels
Pros: The resort is on a beautiful piece if beach and should get accolades for it's location. I would recommend eating breakfast across the street at Picasso's and lunch down the beach at the Tiki Bar. Outside of the resort, we didn't find a bad restaurant.
Cons: We were surprised to see trash all over the beach at Accr: cups, straws, tissue paper, bottle caps. No one working at the resort seemed to notice or care, even when I began picking up the trash around our beach chair. Outdoor dining was another surprise because the birds would flock to recently emptied tables and eat the food. They would also stick their beaks in the sugar and creamer. Again, no one at the resort took notice, changed the place matts or used soap to clean the tables after the birds had walked over them.
Pros: They upgraded us to the penthouse suite as it was my husband's 50th, the staff were lovely, the steak was excellent, facilities were good, and on a beautiful beach what more could you ask for! 10 out of 10 , good for families and couples
Pros: The hotel was for the most part kept clean (room, lobby area, pool) and MOST of the inside staff were very helpful with any suggestions regarding offsite dining and/or sites to see. Clearly SOME of these staff genuinely care about their customers and understand that good service equates to return business.
Cons: Now for the less than satisfactory staff, specifically the pool/beach area bartenders!! On multiple occasions I found them to be rude, apathetic, condescending, and in one instance antagonistic!! I not only experienced this myself, but witnessed others that had to !! They all need a refresher course on Customer Service,or fire them!!
The hotel itself is really starting to show its age. Though the cleaning staff try to do their best to keep it clean, there are areas/rooms that should be completely renovated (old/damaged furniture, things not working, etc). There are also exterior parts of the hotel that have sustained some storm damage that have not been repaired.
Never book a room that is on the road side of the hotel....the traffic noise finishes late and starts early!! Nuff said!
Though the beach is beautiful (or could be), I found that the garbage (mostly left by uncaring hotel guests) is everywhere, and the hotel should be looking into increasing staff time spent attending to it.
Pros: Amazing pool and the beach is stunning. You walk right out of the hotel and the white sandy beach awaits. The boardwalk is really close to the hotel and it has a variety of restaurants. We would definitely book again.
Cons: The rooms are little outdated however, the beds are very comfortable. Not a deal breaker.
Cons: Need more entertainment
Pros: Excellent breakfast swim up bar and direct beach access.
Cons: Service at swim up bar very slow, rooms looking very tired and in need of refit. Evening buffet dinners available not very good and pricey for the content
Cons: Most staff were not friendly though a few were. Amenities need improving.
Pros: Great location on Accra beach
Cons: Desk staff can be overbearing and less then polite, rooms are mediocre and a little cramped. TV's dont work, ice machines dont work and generally theres a sense that the place is a little neglected.
Pros: Well kept, excellent staff and service. The food was good and reasonably priced. The spa was excellent. The hotel staff was caring , attentive and informative.
With a stay at Time Out Hotel in St. Lawrence Gap, you'll be on the beach, steps from Dover Beach and a 2-minute drive from Worthing Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Place is very clean and the staff is very friendly.
Cons: The wifi signal is very weak. The back building is like a dead zone they should really add in another wifi back there. There was a black out in the hotel for about 14 hours and we heard nothing from staff if we didn't ask. When I was leaving and asked they gave me a complimentary bottle of rum. I would've much preferred my money back for the night I paid for.
Pros: The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. the restaurant was good and the pool was also very nice. location was also great right across the street from the beach and in lots going on in the gap
Cons: facilities were old and run down, my friends toilet was leaking and didn't get fixed for a couple days. very loud vent outside our room that was disturbing. housekeepers were exceptionally rude. a lot of other things i can tolerate considering what we paid but in the service industry its personality that counts. Unfortunately i would not go back to this hotel.
Pros: The location was good but so is everything else on the gap..
Cons: I chose the time out hotel based on reviews and the location so based on the pics I probably anticipated more..I had also requested an early check in to which I was told before hand that I would be accommodated, when I arrived though I was told I had to pay extra because they new nothing about it, I was very displeased because if this was communicated earlier I could've made adjustments on my flights or anything else instead of paying close to price of another night for being 4 hours before check in time especially when I was checking out very early....As well as they said free continental breakfast but I didn't see it.. all I got was free juice, coffee and everything else had to paid for... It was misleading to say the least...Will not recommended.
Pros: Everything was clean and tidy, nothing was too much trouble for staff. An enjoyable visit.
Cons: The frogs sang too loud
Cons: Dirty, dated, noisy, quite ugly.
Pros: Everyone was amazing and so friendly! We come to Barbados a lot and this was one of the best holidays we have had! Time out was so accommodating and so so helpful
Pros: Pool area and general environment around hotel
Cons: No self services laundry facility on site
Pros: The staff was absolutely fantastic. Facility was well-maintained. Directly across the street from the beach. Would book again. Excellent value.
Pros: It's right in the heart of all the activities, Has a great restaurant and amenities.
Cons: The wifi signal was internment
Pros: Large room, excellent location, nice pool, friendly staff.
Cons: Bathroom was a little outdated.
Pros: Where the hotel is located, also received a late check out to accommodate my flight...
Cons: When I checked in I had no bath mat, no ice bucket, no patio chairs, bathroom was clogged each time I bathe and a very mall bed when rain fell the room flooded I wake up in twice with water at my feet. I got relocated to another room and the AC unit was leaking in that room.
When you stay at ECO Lifestyle & Lodge in Bathsheba, you'll be by the ocean, a 1-minute drive from Bathsheba Beach and 8 minutes from Huntes Gardens. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice and cosy place
Cons: The breakfast and dinner are not available all days.
Pros: Everything was perfect. the staff super nice and friendly, the food was outstanding. All the little details make all the difference! Beautiful! The beach is a few minutes away from the hotel. (15 minutes) Don’t forget it is the East Coast, so big waves! Perfect for surfing!
Pros: Location -you see and hear the ocean while being in the middle of palm trees and birds. It is very quiet though, don’t expect any nightlife. The room - it looks gorgeous and is big and has a large outside patio. It also has a small kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The shower (curtain kept falling and shower head could be replaced). But it was a minor thing. Restaurant could offer more options on the menu and have all ingredients ready for the few options offered. Having said that, we both liked the food that was served to us.
Pros: The whole place was stunning, I liked there use of recycled materials around the property, The views were breath taking.
Cons: The aircon in the bedroom was so loud we couldn't sleep with it on. There was a ceiling fan in the bedroom, but that had little affect.
Pros: charming room, built and maintained with love good, professional staff good shower and bed beautiful surroundings welcome drink
Cons: no noise isolation whatsoever, you hear literally everything what is going on next door pricey
Pros: As many have said on here already - location is brilliant. We were surfing and a 5 min walk to parlours / soup bowl. However we did need a hire car so we could travel to other breaks on south coast. Spending days out on west or south coast and then being able to come back to the tranquil setting was the real bonus of staying here. Staff are so helpful and friendly. We stayed a long time so cooked in a lot, but the food there is great.
Cons: Picky but would say mattress could be firmer in the bed we stayed in. Feel the price is relatively high for the accommodation, however that is more a reflection on Barbados prices.
Pros: Everything, just book you won't be disappointed as simple and easy as that.
When you stay at Atlantis Historic Inn in Bathsheba, you'll be on the beach, a 1-minute drive from Bathsheba Beach and 8 minutes from Huntes Gardens. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is stunning and the staff attentive.
Pros: Our room was literally hanging over the waves
Cons: The only drawback was that the proximity of the sea means that there is a permanent dampness but really not an issue.
Pros: Away from it all on the rugged quieter coast of Barbados. Perfect for winding down and relaxing with a good book before the razzmatazz of The Gap. Lovely hotel with exceptional food for this area and old fashioned courtesy shown to guests in a charming way. Highly recommend but it’s not smart and clinical in a Sandals Hotel sort of way but amazingly charming.
Cons: A bit cut off for 7 days but a bus to Speightstown or Bridgetown is possible if you don’t have a car and we loved the novelty of a rickety bus and a few rum punches with lunch because we could!
Pros: old railway hotel with only 8 bedrooms....lovely outside covered dinning area..bit of colonial feel to it. can walk to Bathsheba and watch Atlantic waves crashing on beach...too dangerous to swim or walk the trails in opposite direction . sandra's shack up the road great for drinks and chst
Cons: slight sewage smell around pool area
Pros: love breakfast. room suite was lovely and spacious, king bed comfortable. nice accomodations.
Cons: what didn't I like booking . Com needs to update with atlantis, there is no meals mon. to Saturday as advertised on website, all the paperwork in the room, and our confirmation from booking.Com additional suppers at $60.00 u.s. per person. we traveled by local bus to get to atlantis, therefore we had to travel around to find our supper. luckily there was a local Baja restaurant that was more than willing to accommodate us. would I go back to atlantis.........no way.
Pros: It was a beautiful location, stunning views of the Atlantic coast and sunrise
Cons: The food was average, didn’t like the buffet
Cons: Arrival dinner we orderedr in advance not available .Welcome very poor . Menu often repeated . Service very slow. Pool sitting area uncomfortable.
Pros: Imagine lying in bed and enjoying the endless views of the ocean from the open doos of the juliette balcony. The place has an uncompromising style and integrity, you will find none of the tacky beach glamour here. Yet, it does not feel stuck up, due to the proximity of soup bowl surf wave. It is frequented by surfers and the party is never too far away. Would love to come back soon!
Cons: All meals I had were very nice, but I would have loved to experience more the bajan food, including more local fruits, veggies and spices.
