Denny's restaurant next to it is a convenient and good place for meal.
Air conditioner is very noisy.
The price was excellent! One of the best deals on my two week motorcycle trip. Very spacious, clean bedding, good AC and a nice work desk to sit at.
The room was a little run down (scuffed up walls, worn away tiles on the shower floor, dust and dead bugs behind the TV stand, worn out door latch) but none of these things really affected my stay that much. I still felt like I got a good deal.
First hotel room was stinky and bathroom door was locked with no way to get in. They were able to move us but to a bigger room only which they had to charge me another 30$. The next room was just as flithy had to wear shoes on whole night because floors
Stayed in room 121. It was large, well lit, and surprised us by having both refrigerator and microwave. Bed was comfortable enough. It is an older motel and it shows, but it is bargain priced and we feel we got more than we paid for. And breakfast was included, too: eggs, sausage, make-your-own fresh waffles, cereal, couple of bread choices, juices, coffee.
We stayed in room 128 three days later and it was an opposite experience. Room 121 was good, room 128 was not. So the experience at Econolodge can be hit or miss.
It was on the historic Route 66 and it broke up our journey to Vegas.
