Pros (+) Staff was responsive and professional to the problem but it was not a room that felt finished to check guest into. Felt like I got the internet third party booking treatment on room #1.
Cons (-) The sitting room was missing one of two chairs. I know because the same room one floor higher we were reassigned to had both and a lamp. The showers have granite floor covers and they move and make horrific noises and in the case of our first room concealed bugs and debris that smelled and looked horrible until the water made the bugs obvious on the edges with the debris. We were in the city in a perfect location, within walking distance of all the sites anyone would want to see in Barcelona. However, the hotel made us feel as though the city was ours. Cons (-) The only negative to the hotel is completely out of their hands, but there is a new retail store being constructed below, so after 8 or 9 am, it can be a little loud. It looks like it's just starting, so it may go on for quite some time. This wouldn't stop me from stating again by any means, but if you party all night and want to sleep in, it could be tough.
