Pros (+) Wow, what a find outside of the expensive Bar Harbor. The staff was fabulous and the setting, including a wonderful long nature trail on the property, was tremendous. Very large rooms (some quaint cabins!) with kitchenettes. Only minutes from downtown. The owner recommended a wonderful scenic drive which we would not have know about and recommended a great restaurant downtown for breakfast. We wil...

Pros (+) Motel room: large room. Back door to large shared deck.
Cons (-) Motel room: did not feel safe- No deadbolt or even chain on doors. Curtains barely covered windows. Very dated and in need of updating. Tiny old bathroom. Dirty carpet.
