Great location, awesome number of breakfast choices, quieter than expected, okay pool area
More sound proof rooms, more hooks to hang things on
Location is nice.
Comfort in the room.
Good Location
Great location and vicinity. Rooms basic but clean, and good en suite wet room. Pool area very nice, with a good view
Pool water wasn't the cleanest, and greasy
Rambuttri Village Inn Review
Perfect location! Close to Khaosan Rd but far enough to still be quiet at night.
Harder for solo traveller to meet other travellers, very large hotel.
The roof-top pool was nice, decent breakfast buffet.
The staff was very unfriendly and rude, not helpful at all. Part of the hotel does not have elevator service. The first room they tried to stick me in was a 3rd floor noisy walk-up. The room looked old and unkept. I tried to get another room but the receptionist claimed all rooms were booked, (she was not professional at all). I decided I wanted my money back, but she said I had to pay for one full night if I canceled. I asked to speak to the manager who wasn't there. She called the manager and I told her I wasn't happy with the current situation. They finally found a small pint size room on the 5th floor with an elevator, but I still found the room to be old and tired looking (AC didn't work properly). I stayed the night and put up with lots of noise due to the bad acoustics in the hallway, and bathrooms that vent into the hallway which cause more noise, stink, and humidity. (I didn't get any type of compensation for moving into a smaller 1/4 of the size room) The next morning (2nd night) they moved me into a large room on the other side of the building, which I found clean. AC, TV worked fine. Unfortunately again the hallways were very noisy, other guests were loud. I would skip this place if your looking for a good nights sleep. Your definitely not going to get it unless you drink a case of beer. Cheers!
Location and convenience of nearby facilities
The staff weren't as friendly as I remember them being from last time (Summer 2007)
It was quite comfortable to stay this hotel. No luxury but you can just relax. The room was quite tidy and clean. If you adjust water level you can have hot shower. Good value for money. After you check out you can leave your baggage at storage room with guy standing outside for 20THB /baggage/day,up to 3 month.
Reception is always busy with guest arriving and leaving all day long. Plaza has lots of Indian owned shops and they are standing outside all day long and watching you walking past or tried to catch you as a customer.
easy access to everything . we will be staying again on way back
swimmingpool; international lelevision;
incheck and outcheck takes too much time
Stained sheets, hair in drain and on floor, unfriendly staff at check-in, pool only open 8-6 when we would have wanted to use it after 6
Friendly helpful staff and clean passages and rooms. Great pillows!

Location and that it was clean en cheap!
Tha staff is terrible! Unfriendly and this in Thailand, one of the most friendliest country in the world! Most of them are unwilling to help and speak poorly english. But it is cheap and clean and that is more important.
location is good, quick check in and check out, cleanliness of room, quiet night
air conditioning didn't work
the place was very clean for the four days we stayed. The room did not get cleaned during this time but i'm sure if we asked for new sheets it would have been provided. Ignore other comments that toilet roll and fresh towels can't be found, simply ask nicely at reception. The pool is a very big bonus and it was nice not to be staying on Khao San Road.
Staff wasn't pleasant
