Pros: The rooms were clean and bright- seemed to be quite newly outfitted/renovated- they were just beautifully decorated with tasteful curtains and comfy mattresses and fluffy bed linens and a small but spotlessly clean bathroom with stall shower. The rooms are perfect for a stay to see cute and historic Bamberg- plus it's only a short walk to the town center (9 minutes approx.). The people at the Reception were friendly and helpful and they made check in and out a breeze- we'll definitely be staying here if we are ever in Bamberg again! :)
Cons: Apparently you have to be careful parking your car anywhere in Bamberg, because they have a high rate of vandalism. We came out to find our car, parked across from a church on what we thought was a well-lit street, had the passenger's side mirror broken completely off. So, maybe we'll park in the lot that the hotel offers next time (it costs 12 Euros, but it would have been worth it to not have ended up with a broken mirror). Oh well- lesson learned for next time!
