Pros (+) Good price for the room the night my daughter and I stayed there. Clean and comfortable, nice decor. Breakfast was good and available till 10 am. Coffee, teA, hot chocolate were available at all hours in the lobby. Easy access from the 99. Of all the hotels I stayed in while in Bakersfield, this was definitely the nicest. No complaints. Nice toiletries too (Neutrogena), not scary stuff from Malays...
Cons (-) If I was going to nitpick, I'd say the scrambled eggs weren't as good as ones I had had at a Quality Inn but really there was nothing to complain about with this hotel. I was a little surprised that their room rates went up $40/night from a Monday night to Wed night (when I returned to Bakersfield) , but perhaps there was a convention or something in town because I noticed a few other 3 star hotel...
