Pros: Everything. Our family had such a special time.
Cons: None.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Very friendly owner, couldn't be more welcoming. Comfortable accommodation with easy access to mountains.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay with an amazing dining 'hall' (converted barn) with amazing views. Not a higher score as the website info and reviews does such a good job of selling the place that, unusually, I expected more than I got (in terms of room, bathroom, food, etc). That said, trust the photos and go! The hosts are great, the experience unforgettable, and so much better than a standard hotel or hostel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly lovely mountain inn with view of snow-toppped peaks from large and lovely general room (great place to meet other guests and hang out in style.) Also a wonderful terrace and garden below. Demi-pension is the thing to do. Jean-Francois and Nathalie are GREAT cooks and the food was superb. Hiking during the day, Eating and relaxing at night (no need to drive the mountain roads to go out!) Aperitifs and hor's oeuvres plus wine at dinner included. Breakfast just right as well. Hosts went out of their way to provide great ideas on hikes and to really engage. Rooms well laid out and beds comfortable. This is a small place in a very small village - but access to Bagneres de Luchon is available. Best though to just stay right in the high mountains. They will provide everything you need. Reserve early. Can't say enough good about this spot. Was there with husband and our 23-year-old son. We speak french - but excellent english spoken
Cons: Arrived in the fog. Not in anyone's control!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: At this gorgeous location with postcard views we had a lovely stay. Our room was cozy and clean, including a little mezzanine that the kids loved. The hosts were so nice and helpful and made us feel most welcome. The delicious meals in the dining hall, shared family-style, made our stay all the more memorable.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: lovely hosts!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very hospitable. They cooked delicious meals and made us feel very welcome.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts Jeff and Nathalie were so friendly and welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The gite is nestled in the mountains with picturesque views all around. We opted to eat at the gite and it was definitely the right choice. After a fantastic day paragliding it was great to sit by the open fire and enjoy a cuppa before dinner. We will definitely go back and I would have no hesitation recommending the gite.
Cons: Honestly, I don't think there was anything that could have made our stay any better

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The gentleman that ran the hotel went out of his way for us. Positioned just out if cafe centre, so 10 minutes to walk. My husband has an artificial leg and walked it ok
Cons: Shower didn't heat up until it ran for quite a few minutes, and only lasted a couple of minutes and went cold, however it was hot in the morning
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location for a short stay in Luchon. Check in was easy and the staff were very relaxed. Onsite parking at the rear of the hotel.
Cons: The onsite parking was secure but a walk from the hotel entrance. it would be better to unload luggage before parking if possible. If only we had known!
7,5 Good
Pros: We arrived quite late, the owner let us in the parking area, very friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. The only downside it was the Chef night off and we were hungry, the owner did tell us where we would be able to get something to eat but was disappointed as one of the reasons I booked this hotel was because it had restaurant facilities. Therefore would suggest checking before booking. Other than that all good would stay here again.
Cons: Chef night off so not able to get a meal
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gentleman on reception very friendly and helpful. Nice place.
Cons: Unfortunately the weather could have been better to be able to see those wonderful mountains but we will just come back another time.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Owner Alain was most helpful and spoke English well. Breakfast arrangement convenient and adequate. Clean room, beds were comfortable and the room a good size with small balcony. Great car parking, and hotel is located opposite the park, an easy stroll to restaurants and shops.
Cons: Shower was a bit 'tight' for dad, but plenty of hot water.
7,9 Good
Pros: QUIET LOCATION WITH GREAT VIEWS, SHORT WALK TO TOWN , FRIENDLY STAFF - ESPECIALLY THE BREAKFAST GUY
Cons: BREAKFAST WAS FAIRLY POOR AND SERVED IN A GLOOMY BASEMENT ROOM
5,4 Okay
Pros: Good location and secure parking
Cons: Breakfast expensive, hotel very tired, shower facilities very cheap and ineffective, overall the hotel needs an overhaul.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful staff, very clean, well located hotel. Bagneres de Luchon is a very pretty town, with a lot to do in the area. We stayed there for the Tour de France and it was the perfect choice. Parking in the hotel was very convenient. Good breakfast!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff - so friendly and accommodating to us and our little 6-month old son. They bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were spotless and the hotel lovely and warm. The food was delicious.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed a good breakfast. The hotel was quiet so no disturbance during the night. The room was large. The bed was comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly.
Cons: Minor point: no one at desk on arrival as staff were busy with evening meal.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a grand old building with a lot of style and great views. The breakfast was really nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I have never been in a smaller bathroom. It worked, so there wasn't really a problem, but it was really, really small. The place is also a good walk from restaurants.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Quirky old building with a lot of character, although old it was kept very clean. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful, although they didn’t speak much English and I speak very little French, but we got by fine. The room was quite large and the bed comfortable. There is plenty of parking within the grounds of the hotel. The view from my bedroom window was stunning. There are plenty of restaurants quite close by.
Cons: The shower/toilet was across the corridor and was very small.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The parking was free and the cleaning was nice.
Cons: Uncomfortable bed and the bathroom was the thing that I’ve never seen before. It was precisely the bath present normally in camper, totally plastic in 1 m2. Awful!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Interesting old convent building - a little spooky - especially chapel and spiral staircase. Helpful, friendly staff and excellent breakfast
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious, sunny, confortable. Good location to explore the surrounding mountains.
Cons: Tiny, uncomfortable bathroom.
6,7 Good
Pros: It's a grand old building, but what was not clear was that the conversion from Monastery to hotel was barely complete. There was a lovely stained glass window in the old chapel on the ground floor. Private off-street parking was a boon.
Cons: The room was comfortable enough, but was a modern room shoehorned into an old frame, which detracted from the attractiveness. The modern bathroom fittings were juxtaposed with makeshift cupboards, there was no window or fan extraction and the very effective shower tended to spread water where it wasn't wanted. The bedroom door was original, but really hard to lock. What was once a grand staircase was very much an emergency exit, while the lift was tiny and really slow. There was no bar (despite what it says on the website). The guy running the breakfast room on the first morning had no idea how to work the appliances (egg-boiler, toaster). Slightly odd out of hours access (after 20:30 - rather early) via keypad at side entrance.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic welcome. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful room which was lovely and cool despite record heatwave. Mountain view from room was great too. A short walk to dine out in the main street.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved staying in an old monastery, unfortunately we were only on a stop over so didn't get to see much of the town.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing value place to stay and a great location for cycling in the area. The property was fairly unique, being an old religious building. The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable, and very clean. The view was amazing - mountains! The reception staff were great, although limited English, but my french is terrible so no complaints there!
Cons: The bed was extremely squeaky and I could hear when my neighbour got up because the floor boards were extremely noisy. Doors closed noisily. My neighbour also decided to get up and smoke in his room at 6am, which woke me up as the smell was so strong. There were no signs saying no smoking, so I’m unsure if it was allowed. I know the staff would have smelt it but nothing was done.
7,0 Good
Pros: Historic building in a quiet area, just a short walk from the town centre (fabulous meal at Restaurant Pub Gourmand in the centre; friendly, authentic, and great value... highly recommended!!).
Cons: Very unfriendly welcome, but the other staff were more friendly. The renovated rooms have poor quality and very squeaky doors (some oil would help!)

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, great central location, exceptionally comfy bed and bedding
4,6 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Room was small for 4 people and not really confortable Spa room was a joke
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect.
Cons: Nothiy
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Only reasonably priced hotel in a very expensive town. Right in the center of the ville.
Cons: Breakfast could have been included with the nightly rate.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location was great, central to the village and easy to find. The staff were extremely welcoming and did everything they could to help us. Price was good too.
Cons: The rooms were a little dated, but arguably this is just personal preference. The only bad thing I'd say isn't really the hotels fault, which is the hotel is on the main street in the village which means that there was alot of noise from bars etc until the early hours of the morning. But as I stated this isn't the hotels fault.
6,3 Good
Pros: The location was exceptional! It was at the right center of this beautiful city! The staff were pretty nice. Good luck to the new owners.
Cons: We arrived Saturday, August 4th. It was at the middle of the heat wave and the rooms were extremely hot. An AC system would be appropriate... which isn’t too much to ask in an hotel. We had to sleep with the windows opened. On a Saturday night, it is very busy and therefore noisy in the streets. The rooms could also be updated. Doors were not closing well. The tub could use a shower curtain to avoid water to end up on the floor. Breakfast wasn’t a good experience either. We consistently had to ask for bread or more viennoiseries. The selection is very small, so at least make sure it never ends up running out of supplies!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value considering the comfort. Some good bars around the area as well as local food shops. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was central
Cons: no capacity to store luggage after check out
10,0 Excellent
Pros: When you're being met by the manager, shaking your hand and showing you where to park your bike - you know it's going to be a good stay. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable and there was a good duvet (not just a blancket). Dinner was served in the newly remade restaurant and was very good. I asked for their recommendations and the chef made a very good impression with her cooking. Early morning coffee on the terrasse while the town slowly came to life was one of the best experiences of the whole journey. This is a place I will make an effort to revisit.
Cons: The holder for the shower-head...
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly. Our room was big compared with most modern hotels.
Cons: The hotel decor has seen better days but we know that the current owners had only bought the hotel in the past year and are slowly tidying it up. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable
Le Sapin Fleuri - Bagnères-de-Luchon - Building

6,8 Good (47 reviews)

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location and very welcoming host. We loved his suggested walk too....
Cons: The shower, but the proprietor was quick to put it right.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The situation of the hotel was stunning, especially for walkers in the summer. The hotel owner was both welcoming and courteous and made sure we had an alternative room ( the initial room was exceedingly small and had no bath, which we like after long walks!) The cuisine was fabulous and we were treated to a wonderful evening meal after our long walks. The packed lunch he made for us was absolutely delicious and even had canard confit on one day! We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back.
Cons: The rooms are small especially if you only ask for a shower. Those that have a bath are slightly bigger and that makes a difference. Nevertheless if you are out all day walking, the size of the room is not such an issue.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great base for walking
Cons: Felt a bit empty
7,9 Good
Pros: Very friendly owner
6,7 Good
Pros: The dining room has been beautifully refurbished in an attractive modern alpine style.
Cons: The small rustic lounge, bar & our tiny room could do with refreshing. The menu outside showed a good selection but we were offered only 1 choice of a 3 course meal, however the food was good. The basic continental breakfast selection was also limited but perhaps September is their Off Peak season.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, quiet and fairly isolated. Friendly owners/staff. Visited as part of group motorcycle tour (9 of us). Easy and ample parking.
Cons: Limited dinner choice (set menu) but comfortable restaurant.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing - you need to set aside time to drive the mountain roads and enjoy the views
Cons: The food was good but the choice was somewhat limited.
