Pros: The breakfast was very nice and the location was OK.
Pros: Christmas Eve arrival, so very busy but managed to feed us really well, staff did more than expected. Location a bit out of town, but made up for with service.
Cons: Too much expensive Parking to be paid additionally without offering a closed area Desk at the reception not available and not organised Room furniture to be refurbished
Pros: Fast check-in and Check-out. Proper breakfast at very decent times. Clean spacious rooms.
Pros: Modern styllish coordinated furniture
Cons: Lighting was poor. No tea making facilities.
Pros: The rooom was spacious and comfortable. Convenient location close to the motorway, but still quiet. Pool and spa availiable.
Cons: The decor is a bit dated and the cleanliness could be better especially in the bathroom. There was a ton of dust on the hair dryer - so much that we were put off using it. The restaurant was closed in the evening and we had to go to the nearby Greek restaurant (lovely food BTW). The breakfast was good, but the quality of the ingredients and choice could be improved. They charge you for parking and they did not mention that city tax will be added to the bill. Staff could communicate better. Overall not the best value for the money.
Cons: We stayed here for 1 o/night only. The weather was rather chilly and the room wasn't warm enough, so we requested extra blankets, which as strange as this might sound we had to collect from the reception on own as room service did not deliver them to the room...
Pros: Comfort room, good location, easy to rich from the motorway, good breakfast
Cons: Staf was very unfriendly, namely Cynthia Glosner, she did not propose to buy the breakfast, she did not ask about the parking, which appeared to by paid! We are guests but have to pay for the parking 3 euros per night. Interesting that first she said it is 2 euros but at the bill it was 3! Then she did not explain that the door of the room should be not only open by magnetic card but also close with using it. We had troubles and only our neighbors helped us. They complained about that too because nobody explained them either! In the evening you can't order from the menu at the restaurant. We have to go to the Greek restaurant nearby.
Pros: The Staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good value for the additional cost. Location was convenient.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like.
Pros: Too far for a backpacker.Required for additional paying without any booking price( only this case for a long trip )
Cons: Too distant for a tourist without a car !!
Pros: A warm welcome with a clean good size room and comfortable bed. Excellent value for money
Pros: The hotel was an interim stop on our travel. Staff was professional and helpful. Facility was kept well.
Pros: Easy and comfortable parking. Varying and good tasting evening meny.
Cons: Not so easy to find the way from Weimar Centre in the evening. You could have written that we should pass below the Autobahn, that had made it easier. The spa department was very silent and had no staff. I turned in the door and did not want to swim at all.
Pros: clean, efficient and helpful staff - we just overnighted on transit to Dresden and were most impresssed with the staff in the resturant as we turned up late and they still made the effort to supply dinner after 10 pm
Pros: Really clean; excellent breakfast; lovely swimming pool
Pros: We liked it all, and would like to return another time
Pros: private reason
Cons: The noise of the air condition system in the whole area during the night.
Pros: The generous lay-out, the quiet surroundings and the lovely breakfast
Cons: The fact that there is only one armchair in the double room. Also the pillows were too limp and lumpy and there was no additional pillow to help one get more comfortable

Pros: Beautiful hotel with fabulous facilities and great food.
Dear guests, we would like to welcome you to our homepage. Since 1806 the Grand Hotel Russischer Hof, located in the heart of the city, has been a place of hospitality and encounter. Personalities of Weimar Classicism such as Franz Liszt, Richard Wagner, Giacomo Meyerbeer, Hoffmann von Fallersleben, Clara and Robert Schumann, to name only a few, appreciated the then "noble inn". Keeping the long tradition alive is an obligation for us today to offer our guests individual and contemporary service. Here the shoes of our guests are still cleaned and the cars are parked and pulled up again by us. Bellboys are available 24-hours a day for your stay to provide services that have been forgotten in modern everyday life. The Grand Hotel Russischer Hof combines tradition and modern comfort in a symbiosis of hospitality. Albert Voigts (General Manager) and employees.
Pros: Fantastic location! Great to be able to access rectangular pillows.
Pros: The location is really good and the personnel really helpful
Cons: The suite was too expensive for what it was offering. Spacious room but still outdated and without facilities of today. Breakfast was extremely poor in selection for the asking price
Pros: The breakfast was very plentyful and very varied
Cons: The room had no view.
Pros: Location Nice breakfast
Cons: We are soft and comfortable and needed to have boards brought in. The towels were thin. The bathroom was inconveniently small. Lacked bottled water customarily given to guests in other hotels.

Pros: Facility very clean and modern interiors, around the corner from the Christmas markets and Goeth House
Cons: Pillows were awful although apparently you can ask for another but it was too late. Internet connection is off and on. Garage is 20eurombut it’s same driveway which public one which is free. Breakfast is way too expensive
Pros: Location & breakfast
Pros: Very friendly staff. The hotel is fine situated so you are able to reach all nice places in a couple of minutes.
Pros: Lovely spacious room with a view out to the front of the hotel. Comfortable beds.
Cons: The breakfast was rather expensive and the buffet style food mediocre.

This hotel has facilities measuring 2583 square feet (240 square meters), including a conference center. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Hotel Lobby was nice
Cons: shower was dirty, TV didn't work, heating was very poor and the room was very cold. There are no restaurants near this hotel and you have to eat there which is very expensive!!
Pros: Clean Polite people Weather
Cons: Little far from tram station . In the night it's difficult to get there
Pros: - Excellent value for money - Good breakfast - Fast interaction at reception for any issue
Cons: - Whole hotel has not been modernized for a long time, appears outdated, although still clean and fully functional - Location in a residential area in the periphery
Pros: Good atmosphere. Comfortable beds and hot bath were very relaxing. Daily cleaning was done which was very conve6. Location was excellent as it suited my schedule.
Cons: Breakfast should have some changes every day. Something new. Timing for Breakfadt can be a bit more relaxed like 6:30 to 10:30 on weekdays
The location of the Comfort Hotel Weimar is ideal for both business and leisure travelers. This hotel is located in the north of the city in the middle of the green heart of Thuringen, and can be easily accessed from all parts of Germany. Attractions include the Weimar City Centre, Bauhaus University, Liszt School of Music, Duchess Anna Amalia Library and the Ginkgo Museum. Enjoy hotel amenities such as breakfast buffet (at a charge), a hotel bar and meeting space. Rooms come with private bathrooms, balconies, hair dryers, cable televisions and free wireless Internet. The hotel offers special theme rooms with a canopy. Weimar is a German city with charm and character.
Pros: Bed, size of the room, staff, room for bikes. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: A little bit dirty. Quite far from town centre.
Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful
Cons: Quite old and not well maintained. We had to ask to change the room. Heating was not working. The staff was really nice and helpful.
Pros: The Comfort Hotel Weimar is located in a suburb about 15 minutes by bus from the centre. The bus stop is a couple of hundred metres from the hotel, buses run every quarter of an hour and there is free public parking directly over the road from the hotel. There is a supermarket nearby. The price was right (I stayed in February), and this combination makes the deal for me. The bed was comfortable, the staff more friendly than not, the breakfast good (apart from the awful coffee). There was a kettle in the room, but sadly there was no refrigerator or microwave. The WiFi was just fine.
Cons: Attempts at bringing the ageing room up to date were half-hearted. The shower head sprayed water everywhere from a leaking hose; the shower was over a bath. The furniture was good solid stuff, but at a guess 30 years old with cigarette burns on it in places, despite the room being nonsmoking. An ash tray was provided, with the exhortation to use it on the balcony only - the room didn't stink, though. There were no USB points, no bedside table power points (bring a 3m or longer USB cable!).
Pros: The prize and entertainment at the bar/reception area, but that's just luck with wat other hotel-guests walk in and have a drink. The distance to Buchenwald memorial area. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: Was our last hotel on our trip, just wanted something simple with a balcony. And simple we got. It was cheap so we got what we paid for. Just outside Weimar on a dark road. If we had to stay longer then one night we would not have stayed here. Very outdated and the pictures on there website or booking.com do not resemble the hotel. Or we gotten the most beaten up room in the hotel, but no way it looks like the pictures. Normally I would have given it a 3, but due to the fun staff and other hotel-guests its a 5.
Cons: I think everything was fine, just it needed to be a better breakfast for vegans. As a vegan I didn’t have that much option for my breakfast.
Pros: Comfortable, easy to park, accessible navigation around area
You'll be centrally located in Weimar with a stay at Hotel Kaiserin Augusta, within a 15-minute walk of Congress Centre Neue Weimarhalle and Bauhaus Museum. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly people, lovely local food at the restaurant, the location was great, just across from the trainstation, it takes about 15 minutes to walk into town, a very nice walk.
Cons: Just one thing:they should have postcards available with the portrait of Empress Augusta!
Pros: Location Breakfast buffet
Cons: Room a bit small
Pros: Location was very good, close to the train station and close to town (10+ mins walk). Quiet room, even though it was towards the main road. Room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. Staff were friendly. We were able to leave our luggage until the afternoon. Quick check-in when we arrived. Foyer and restaurant area very nice.
Cons: Disappointed that the "classic" double room didn't even include tea / coffee making facilities. For the price we paid, I expect more. The room was very basic and the décor a bit tired and out-of-date. Bathroom quite small and the water pressure in the shower was, quite frankly, rubbish. A drizzle. Not so happy with the cleanliness, found a hair on my pillow and in the bathroom. Stains on furniture / bed side table.
Pros: The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is excellent... right across from the railway station and a short walk to the center of town.
Cons: Mostly it was the attitude of the front desk staff. Not only not helpful but borderline antagonistic.
The wifi did not work in our room. We reported it immediately. "What do you want me to do... the wifi is working for everyone else". Same story next morning, so on the third night requested a change of rooms, on a different floor, which solved the issue immediately.
We arrived at 9pm after a long journey. The restaurant is open until 10 we were told... when we came down for dinner :sorry the cook went home early... no food available. We talked to someone who had stayed at the hotel in the past and they mentioned that this is a frequent situation at the hotel.
The bar is a smoking bar, so no chance to enjoy a nightcap....
Thus not even close to the excellent rating we expected....
Pros: The hotel is just opposite to Weimar's main train station at which you can find buses to go to the town centre and surely other parts of Weimar. I arrived at around 1 and could get the room already. The facilities were a bit old but function okay. The room size was decent enough for a single room. I stayed in winter, the room was too cold and woke me up in the middle of the night. Fortunately able to get an extra duvet from the reception, appreciated that. The restaurant has some Thuringian dishes which were pretty nice and reasonably priced, service quite slow though.
Cons: It's a bit unfortunate that the bathroom has quite a bit of an unpleasant smell, part because it doesn't have a fan, part oldness. Can be made better with some perfume diffusers. The sink plug didn't stand up right and blocked the flow of water quite a bit. And it'll be nicer if the room has a kettle. Wished the bed could be a bit wider.
Pros: Very posh but for little money. Good breakfast buffet.
Cons: The room we got was very small, just managed.
Pros: Very convenient to reach to the hotel. Lobby was large and breakfast room was beautiful.
Cons: Just a little concerned, if you have big luggage to move around, It's a fairly a big hotel with lots of rooms but we saw only one elevator (not that big either). It gets too crowded, you might could be missing it on busy checking out hours.
Pros: Well located for me. Free parking near the hotel. Good restaurant
Located in Mellingen, Ilmtal is within a 10-minute drive of Saale Valley and Parkhohle. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good breakfast, good for one night stay
Pros: breakfast is okay, just some normal stuff. But the general living condition is beyond my expectation. It locates in a small village and is a super choice for a temporary stay within a long drive. Great staff and nice dinner(not buffet but you can oder some tasty food)!
Pros: The food was better than we thought and the quiet village of Mellingen provided a peaceful walk in the evening. Good for overnight stopping.
Cons: Quite near the motorway but not a problem in the rooms.
Pros: The breakfast exceeded our expectations.
Cons: A guy at the reception desk was mean, obviously dissatisfied that we arrived 15 later than we declared to (huge traffic), and demanded us to pay for the booking, even though it was already paid. Very unpleasant experience after really long and exhausting trip.
Pros: Great staff, super friendly, excellent breakfast, and a nice sunny room that was squeaky clean. 10-15 minutes easy drive to Weimar and yet away from the touristy hustle and bustle. Definitely recommend.

Cons: On the outskirts of town outwith walking distance. Geared up more for conference facilities with a small bar/restaurant. Very few English language channels on the TV.
Pros: The staff is always friendly and helpful despite of our late check-ins after midnight. Family rooms are great and cozy. We regularly stay in this hotel when traveling because it offers us full comfort. It is perfectly clean. I also recommend quality breakfast with large offer of tasty products. There is also a children’s corner in the hotel.

Pros: The staffs are friendly and the location of the hotel is wonderful!
Cons: Regarding the service of the pet friendly hotel, I am very grateful to you for providing the dog's bed and the bowls in the room. But I would appreciate it more if the hotel could provide my dog with a clean bowl! Except for dusty drinking glasses for the human and oily bowl for the dog, everything was fine!
Pros: Location and breakfast were very good.
Pros: The location is great, right by the shopping center and near many restaurants. The hotel feels like a 4 or 5 star hotel, but the price was really reasonable.
Cons: I find the breakfasts at local restaurants less expensive than at the hotel.
Pros: The bar staff was great - especially Peter and Kasami (sp?). Loved the food and drinks.
Cons: The bed was extremly small and not very comfortable
Pros: Great value for money, fantastic breakfast, centrally located

Pros: Cozy place, friendly staff and perfect location
Pros: Room 12 has painted in a funny way with amazing characters on the wall
Cons: The WiFi connection in Room 12 was poor. You should stay near the window for using Internet.
Pros: The hostel felt both homely/cosy and luxurious! It was beautifully designed and the staff were really helpful. The shared bathrooms were super clean. I would definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing, loved it!
Pros: It’s clean and has all the basic necessities.

Pros: Breakfast, for only five euro a good and plentiful meal
Cons: The bathroom. My room was on the fortyth floor, but the toilet are on third floor
Pros: Everything the hotel has offered was wonderful and to our comfort. Its a well located silent place ,naturally rich surroundings .The staff is very supportive and cheerful.Open space in the reception ,galleries at all floors and spacious wash rooms. Coolbreeze and open area around gives a heavenly feel.
Cons: As such nothing to dislike but I have few suggestions like Exhaust in Kitchen, Elevators in the building to help take heavy luggage by students & parents, regular briefing to the students about keeping the toilets clean ,washing their utensils after use and avoid wastage of toilet papers.
Pros: I booked a 4 bed dorm and was alone for the whole weekend, which was great.

Pros: they had parking and the location was almost good.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Cons: It's clearly visible till where they clean under the bed
Pros: All went well
Cons: No facilities
Pros: The staff were nice. Clean, simple room that felt very large.
Pros: Great location: 400 m to Goethe house and city center, reception is really taking care of your needs, room is spacious and clean (you are in Germany, guys :)) When I had an issue with parking, hotel helped me to solve it. Really nice place and people, perfect option if you are interested in Weimar history and culture.
Cons: Some areas for improvement: there was no kettle in the room, no big blankets (you are going to get 2 separate even if you are a couple). Reception is working till 8pm, but trying to get everything solved as much as possible till that time. Keep in mind in case of late check-in / early check-out.
Pros: Nice building with Art nouveau Features where Rudolf Steiner spent a few years studying Goethe. Easy walking distance to museums.
Cons: There are no elevators in the building.
Pros: the Steiner room
Cons: opening time restaurant
Cons: I tied up here for three days, December 30-1/1. When I came back to my room after I went out, the hotel man cleaned up a little and both pairs of earrings on the table disappeared (in plastic bags), and even though it was 3 p.m. at the reception, all the staff could not contact me from work. The next day, I had to check out early in the morning due to the travel schedule, but even then, the lip service was also locked and I had no responsibility to contact you. I was forced to write down the situation with my phone number, and I was forced to take a picture with the heat shield on the handle of the hotel. Lip-segmented, no emergency contact, no one. But they didn't apologize for keeping my dog alive, but they called me and yelled at me for stealing my keys and demanded twice as much penalty for shouting and lying. This is inconceivable!!I'm angry at my missing earrings, but their rude handling and lying are really upset. These hotels should never be open. Using a traveler's schedule to steal a customer's item, and to make nothing of lying and rude remarks, is to destroy the amazement of Germany as a whole. This is the worst hotel in the world!
Pros: Very clean. Good breakfast. Very good location
Cons: One day they forgot to clean the room. Wifi was horrible, not usable.
Pros: The room is very clean and tidy. They provide nice equipments for cooking. Sourranding atmosphere is quiet.
Pros: Breakfast Walkingdistance
Pros: Location to city centre was good. Receptionist at initial check-in was welcoming.
Cons: In general, the staff on reception were either formal or rather cheerless.
With a stay at Familienhotel Weimar in Weimar, you'll be just steps from Goethe House and Goethe National Museum. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: We had unit 31 on the top floor with two bedrooms; it was so great to have so much room to spread out after a few weeks of smaller hotel rooms. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions to things and pre-booking an early taxi for us on check-out day. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean and the kitchen well equipped. It's located within easy walking distance of most of the historical sights within Weimar, but it is a taxi or bus ride to the train station.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: We stayed in the top floor #31 apartment with a balcony facing the courtyard and underneath the public terrace. There were two bedrooms, we slept in the double-bed and it was extremely quiet and restful. The space is tastefully decorated and has all the conveniences needed. The location is perfect, as it's just steps from the main market square, but situated in a quiet alley away from the main tourist throngs. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the parking also was very convenient. We will definitely stay here again and look forward to our next visit!
Pros: The location was excellent and the room was nicely decorated.
Cons: The access was tricky, and it would have been useful to have the details about where to park in English before we arrived.
Pros: Friendly staff (Ali was of great help with good tips), very good food, the chef is top! Rooftop terrace was a big extra. A home away from home.
Cons: Early morning bouncing kids in the apartment above us.
Pros: location is perfect. staffs are very nice
Pros: In the middle of the city. You can walk to theater square in a few minutes. Nice design.
Cons: Nothing, really.
Pros: Good state of the apartment & ambiance. Facilities. Interesting Hotel folder welcoming in the apartment. Good quality of bedclothes. Really good stay.
Cons: There was no tea & cafe.
Pros: The property is located in the center of the city in a very romantic alley. Although it is a modern building, it’s surrounded by trees and historical sites. I was upgraded to a spacious apartment, which was very tastefully furnished. A balcony facing the courtyard was one of the more impressive aspects. The bathroom was large enough and very clean. Thought had been put into small details everywhere. From the color of towels to making plugs safe for children. Very good value for money, I will definitely go back, should I travel to Weimar again.
Cons: Hot water ran out.
Pros: Great location, very central, next to Goethe's house/museum. In a tiny quiet street. Very friendly staff, children friendly interiors.

Pros: Good standard for reasonable price

Cons: the wall paper of the room. GDR style...
Pros: Helpful staff Free parking available Building had some period charm and nice antique furniture. Great value for money Breakfast quite varied. Historic notes about previous occupants of house.
Cons: Small bathroom.
Pros: Close to theatre, Restaurants and other Cultural Settings. Park Platz was nice, convenient. Older Style rooms, very nice condition.
Cons: Breakfast Brötchen was not fresh. Bathrooms on the smaller end.
Pros: A very comfortable room, and an abundant breakfast.
Cons: This only disappointment in this wonderful hotel is the quality of the internet.
With a stay at Fürstenhof am Bauhaus Weimar in Weimar, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Parkhohle and Furstengruft. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness, and location. You can walk easily into town and by the river.
Cons: Our room was small, and the hotel has steps, stairs, and no lift. Impossible for anyone with dodgy legs.
Cons: Parkplatzsituation am Hotel
Pros: Good location, 5-10 min walk to city center, very close to Bauhaus University buildings. Good value for money.
Pros: Great breakfast choices and central location for all sites.
Pros: I really loved the hotel. The room has a foyer where you can hang your coat, the windows overlook the beautiful Ilm Park, and everything one might want from a hotel for a good night's sleep and an invigorating bath we find here: great mattress, pillows, shower . Breakfast is served in a very nice room, on a well neat table and great service. Everything about this hotel is carefully taken care of. The location is very good, as it is next to an architectural icon, Van der Velde-designed Bauhaus University, and Ilm Park, ideal for a morning walk. Weimar does not have very good public transport but there are buses that pass close to the hotel and take you to the center. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Weimar.
