'Le petition dejeuner' was a well prepared and fine presented buffet with an additional charge. In the hotel-restaurant I enjoyed an excellent dinner , served by a very friendly waiter who spoke good English.

Cons: Some fixtures in the room like both fans in the bath and in the toilet didn’t work and a few fittings are loose in the bathroom. Parking is on the street, pretty hard to find a space and way more expensive than €7 a day as it is stated on the website. But these things are easily forgiven because the location is excellent and the staff is great.

'Le petition dejeuner' was a well prepared and fine presented buffet with an additional charge. Cons: The carparc is 3 minutes away and is a public carparc (underground), I prefer a hotel-owned one, but I had no problems in this garage.

Parking is underground band has a height restriction which meant we couldn’t use it with our minibus but found free parking a couple of streets away once unloaded the luggage right outside. Good continental breakfast included and we especially liked making our own boiled eggs. We had a lovely big room as it was meant for disabled use and had a view of the cathedral but the others in our party had rooms on the small side which really didn’t matter they all were comfy and we were only in there a short time anyway, too much to see and do. Beds particularly comfortable in all rooms.

Cons: I would not mention anything here if not asked for, but being asked: the hotel can contribute against global warming by replacing the many halogene lamps by LED lamps. They are available for all sockets at prices that the investment is earned back in about one year. Hardly any other investment gives a so quick return....

Cons: No air conditioning in the room. The weather was very warm during our stay and although we kept the window open all night, the room was uncomfortably warm. And noisy from the traffic in the street outside.

Short walk to the city center. We had a quiet room, only one big noise at 7am that could have been a train. Parking: very close by for seven euro per day, and it was safe. We have chosen ‘Parking Amiens gare La Vallée’, as there were other parkings around the station, but this one was the closest to the hotel.

Pros: Very warm welcome, the staff were very keen to help and give me an enjoyable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and for breakfast an excellent range of food was on offer, as much as I could eat! It is a very good location close to the station but was still quiet the night I stayed.

Cons: First room I was given ( double with shared bathroom) had no lights near bed. Holes in wall where lights were supposed to be . I complained and was moved to a single room but light above bed worked. I did not get this room any cheaper even though a lot smaller. The bathroom light did not work so I did not have a shower !! It was too late in the evening to complain about this. Obviously very poor maintenance. Also carpet in very poor condition lifting and patched up . My room looked nothing like photos . Cons: Don’t recommend you try parking with a large car (as we did) - entrance with construction site opposite and cars parked either side of driveway is VERY tight...inch or so to spare! Small-mid size cars only. Some from below can make its way through the open windows to non-smoking rooms. Need hotel policy on noise as resident/guest loud music until midnight unacceptable on one night of our stay and no on site manager to sort it out.
