Pros: Given that it's on a boat, the bathroom (particularly the shower) was much larger and nicer than I expected. The bed was also a good size, and comfortable too. It works as a home base to go exploring or as a cave of solitude. I used it for both. The owners are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Good location, close to the train station and right next to the old town. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: The only real storage space in the room itself is under the bed, but given that it's on a boat, that's only to be expected. There's enough to fit two full sized bags under there, if you're carrying that much.

Pros: The hospitality was amazing. The cabins are a lot smaller than I expected but were perfect for what i needed. I thought the price was a bit high for what you got (no table or chair in room). But I paid £60 per night last minute thru a third party so maybe that was my mistake. Apart from the price I would recommend this highly.

Pros: The location, directly on a square with multiple restaurants (and the tourist information VVV) is very nice. The main shopping street and the newer shopping center are very near. Of no parking on the premises, but the hotel can provide a pre-paid in the townhall parking garage (5 min walk) at good value for money

Pros: The breakfast is served from 7 am, which is early enough in most cases - and in line with other hotels. It is served in a nice way, one can get different kinds of cheese, meat, jam, eggs, yoghurt, fruit, cereals, orange juice, coffee, tea, bread - all one needs for a good breakfast in a cosy atmosphere. The hotel & pub is located in a square, so one step out of the hotel takes you to the beautiful old town, so one feels like being in a postcard. There are a lot of nice restaurants within a walking distance - of up to 200 m.
Cons: Maybe the bed and the pillow were too soft - but there may be other guests who like them like that. There was not so much space in the room, yet I realise that the hotel is made within the 'shell' of an old house, so I do not complain. I wanted it like that.

Pros: the staff at the property were very welcoming. was an easy check in process. the hotel was very clean. 2 minuet walk to shopping centres. people in Amersfoort were lovely and the hotel was in a good location for the venue that we were attending for a concert. there was a vending machine for drinks in the kitchen area which was cheap enough and we found it very handy and the prices were reasonable. the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: the only down fall was there was no kettle in the room, however there was a coffee machine where you could get hot drinks in the kitchen are that were 50 cent for one hot drink so it was cheap enough.

Pros: Small, pretty comfortable, very clean. Ali (the host) is very friendly. The room - no complaints; the bathroom combined to the toilet also very clean. Close to the city center, 4 stops by bus from the Amersfoort Centraal. Breakfast is acceptable, but without variety. Lots of fruit, great yogurt, nice coffee.

Cons: Even if staffs were all kind, when I called the hotel before booking, the staff was not kindly reacted. Front desk is a first impression of the hotel, and so all staffs need to be kind and polite to people.

Pros: Hotel is well located, clean and comfortable. Rooms are appointed to a good standard. Beds are comfortable and rooms are well sound proofed for a good nights sleep. The bathroom was clean and the shower a good temperature / pressure. Staff are friendly both on the front desk and at the bar.
Cons: The blocking of 50 Euros on your credit card at the beginning doesn't seem well thought out, I haven't had this at any other hotel and I travel a lot. Breakfast is seemingly expensive at 14 Euros per person. Other than that everything is fine.

Pros: Nice place, well connected and close to the train station and the city centre. Complete and good breakfast. New furniture and comfortable bed. Several options were offered during the check-in, based on my preferences.
Cons: The WiFi was horrible... I had to use 4G. When I informed to the reception the day after they told me that they know the problem and next time I should change the floor (I was in the first floor and the "good one" are 2nd and 3rd).

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff Plenty choices at breakfast; only thing was the scrambled egg was very dry by the time I got to it. Pleased that the towels were left as I had hung them so I could use them again. I think that guests should be given the choice to keep the same sheets, just like towels. For 2 nights’ Stay I don’t need clean sheets 2nd night.
Cons: There was not a shelf or so for toiletry bag.

Cons: The experience with the hotel was rather bad. We checked in at around 9 PM, and in the room we had a bad surprise: the window was open, the temperature 16 degrees C and the radiator hidden behind the bad. I asked the reception for a solution and they say the can't downgrade other future guests so they just brought an electrical radiator. After ~1 hour the temperature was okeish. And as bonus, the employees that put the radiator in place were also being ironic and xenophobic, asking if in our country is that hot now that we complain about 16 degrees.

Pros: Quite a few breakfast options. Very nice to be able to make tea (and coffee) on your room itself! The room I had was a basic 1-persoon room with quite a good bathroom. Also great that there a soap dispenser, so no waste material from one-time showering.
Cons: It would have been nice to have some more vegan options for breakfast. Warm oatmeal porridge would have been great! A proper tea glass on the room would have been a nice addition as well.

It boasts an Italian cuisine restaurant, in-room breakfast and classic rooms with free wired internet access. The basic-furnished rooms have box-spring bedding and a small flat-screen TV with cable channels. Other amenities include a work desk and private bathroom facilities. Restaurant Lorenza offers a wide variety of meat and pasta specialities. All this can come adjoined with one of the many wines the restaurant has to offer. From Keistad Hotel it is 220 metres to the Mondriaan House museum. The Amersfoort train station is 1 km away, offering easy access to cities such Amsterdam and Utrecht.

Pros: I liked that the room was nice and clean. I didn't see any mold in the bathrooms like some other people reported. It was nice to have a TV with different channels. And it was great to have a bathtub and very high pressure water that instantly became hot. These are all basic but important things I want in a budget hotel.
Cons: The two things that I didn't like were the stiffness of the bed and the sound proofing of the room. Somehow I woke up with back-pain after sleeping there. And I also didn't like the fact that the main door was not good at preventing sounds from coming in. So the sound proofing of the room wasn't that great, and I woke up from the noises of other people at 7am one time.

Cons: We have booked the room for 2 adults and 9-year old child. The hotel put us to 2-person room with no bed for child at all. We called the hotel before visit and ask about bed, so customer service helped us to arrange the additional bed. The room was so small, that we can’t walk into without walking on beds. Pros: the staff at the property were very welcoming. was an easy check in process. the hotel was very clean. 2 minuet walk to shopping centres. people in Amersfoort were lovely and the hotel was in a good location for the venue that we were attending for a concert. there was a vending machine for drinks in the kitchen area which was cheap enough and we found it very handy and the prices were reasonable. the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: the only down fall was there was no kettle in the room, however there was a coffee machine where you could get hot drinks in the kitchen are that were 50 cent for one hot drink so it was cheap enough.

Pros: Small, pretty comfortable, very clean. Ali (the host) is very friendly. The room - no complaints; the bathroom combined to the toilet also very clean. Close to the city center, 4 stops by bus from the Amersfoort Centraal. Breakfast is acceptable, but without variety. Lots of fruit, great yogurt, nice coffee.

Pros: Helena is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The location is great and the breakfast is delicious. And considering you’re on a boat the rooms and aminities are very comfortable. Would highly recommend Vita Nova!

Pros: Given that it's on a boat, the bathroom (particularly the shower) was much larger and nicer than I expected. The bed was also a good size, and comfortable too. It works as a home base to go exploring or as a cave of solitude. I used it for both. The owners are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Good location, close to the train station and right next to the old town. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: The only real storage space in the room itself is under the bed, but given that it's on a boat, that's only to be expected. There's enough to fit two full sized bags under there, if you're carrying that much.

Pros: The hospitality was amazing. The cabins are a lot smaller than I expected but were perfect for what i needed. I thought the price was a bit high for what you got (no table or chair in room). But I paid £60 per night last minute thru a third party so maybe that was my mistake. Apart from the price I would recommend this highly.
