Overview

Villa Rina dates back to the 14th century and offers incredible views and excellent local cuisine. You'll appreciate the friendly service and comfortable guest room with your own balcony and free Wi-Fi. Once home to a wealthy, local family, Villa Rina is set at the top of about 400 steps. It now welcomes guests to a tranquil oasis, surrounded by citrus groves. The owners use vegetables and fruit grown in the villa's grounds, and the olive oil is made from their own olive trees. Villa Rina is an ideal base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. It is close to a number of popular trekking and hiking paths where excursions are organised, particularly in summer and autumn. The helpful team of staff will be delighted to offer useful tips and travel advice.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praised the hotel for its breathtaking views, warm and attentive service, and delicious homemade food, especially dinners and breakfasts. The location, perched high above the coast, offered tranquility and spectacular scenery, but many guests noted the challenging access, with hundreds of steps to reach the property, making it less suitable for those with mobility issues. Some found the amenities lacking, such as the absence of a fridge in rooms, and a few mentioned issues with breakfast variety. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was highly positive, with the friendliness of the host and the unique setting leaving a lasting impression.
