Need more crew members
The screen was not working in long flights it is difficult to pass time. The food was good but between lunch and dinner the snacks were not sufficient. The staff was very cooperative. On all other fronts the service was good
Entertainment system wasn’t working for the 2nd time . Even while flying out of US it wasn’t working .
No entertainment system
Bathroom is grooa. I cleaned it up. I need the pay
The plane is a disaster. Extremely old. Nothing works. No tv. Chairs doesnt recline. Food is disgusting. I need my money back !!
The online entertainment system did not work! 16 hour flight with nothing to watch!! The airplane had hot air blowing throughout the boarding process. No AC till after takeoff! Chaotic boarding process.
Terrible transfer at Delhi. I am sure many people got too late to their transferring flights. Would never transfer at Delhi from international flight unless had 5 hours of layover. It is that tedious
The transfer at Delhi was a terrible experience. I had 2 hours 45 between the arrival from Newark to Delhi and the departure from Delhi to Mumbai. However there were 7 tasks in between: 1) immigration 2) baggage claim 3) customs 4) baggage drop 5) wait for elevator from drop back to above 6) security checkin again 7) distance from there to the gate 32b Except for customs the rest took extraordinary amount of time and even 2 hours 45 minutes fell too short. I had to run to the gate for the last part and it was after the final call. I would never recommend anyone transfer at Delhi in the future unless they had some 5 hours in between. The seat that I was in did not have the entertainment working. Since the flight was full there were no alternative options.
Be prepared for the transfer in Delhi to ne chaotic. Different people will direct you differently. Unless you have abundant time Do Not exit the airport to use the immigration lines outside. Late night these are crowded. AI flights suck as far as entertainment goes as no screens work. Food is decent. Crew are apologetic. Most of the tray tables are broken and seats may not recline. Avoid unless you are looking for a short flight duration or cheap tickets.
On Air India flights to Newark most of the entertainment screens do not work. Plan for this. Most of the tray tables are broken, food.trays slide down or on your lap. Seats may not recline. Overall expect an old broken aircraft which lacks internal maintenance and proper cleaning
Broken Seats, entertainment system was not working, toilets were dirty and were not equipped, food was lackluster
Regular, no frills flight. Comfortable
Flight on time, clean and smooth. I would recommend to my friends for sure. Some coffee or juices would been nice before landing. Many hours Straight without a drink was odd. Some elderly were next to me, didn’t know they could get water on their own. And hostess was being rude to them when they gave away food tray with waterbottle with little water left. She can tell them nicely like why don’t you hold as u have some left.
Flight is on schedule. Didn’t like people not standing line. Some directions about connections in flight would have been nice. As simple as follow signs for transfers-> International or domestic transfers etc.
Ithe only thing I like about this flight was the direct from india to USA. Nothing works in the plane, broken seats, rest rooms, entertainment and so on
Improve customer service that sucks. Food was horrible
JFK Mumbai stop over at Delhi. At Delhi airport I had to collect my bags at immigration and go through security for Mumbai. Very inconvenient. If I had to go to Mumbai, the bags should be collected at the final destination. Food was mediocre and not tasty. Flight arrived on time.
Very nice friendly service and good people👍
It was a disaster seat was broken couldn’t recline. I m a back pain patient. Just imagine sat for 15 hours without reclining. No tv while going and coming back . Went 2 yrs back had the same problem no tv while going and coming back , It is so sad I m never going to travel agin in air India and will warn everyone who is near and dear tome .
horrible experience! I will never book Air India again. Flight AI 174 was the worst flight ever! the staff/crew was unbelievably rude and disrespectful! Absolute worst service.
USB chargers were not charging Screens were not worrking
Extremely disappointed with the airlines. Flight was delayed by 12 hours. No entertainment systems were working through out the journey. Misplaced baggage and I had received it after 2 days Had to sit in airport at Delhi with no accommodation overnight Will avoid this airlines
Onboard entertainment system was dysfunctional. The seat was always reclined.
Worst flight ever.
If there I ask for help but no one just say I can help but no one back
Plane is really old. Everything is broken. Felt like 1960s flight.
No entertainment system, seat was not comfortable and food quality was below average.
On board Air India flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 55x35x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Air India assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
